Who is the person with the fox tail and ears?? Hmmmmmm. And oh dear. Another cliffhanger. *bites nails in anticipation*  

Realm bit his lip.

This day had been very...interesting? He had been naive enough to follow a wild animal somewhere, got captured by strange Glitches he had never seen before, and now there was...a CBette? That had been a fox? Idiot. Some CBers can shapeshift, remember?

And this situation was looking more hopeless by the second.

"Great job. You make a lovely rescue team." The tall female glitch informed the CBette, sarcasm filling her voice. 

The CBette pushed an auburn curl away from her face and adjusted her top hat boredly. She grinned. "I do, don't I?" The CBette mused, still grinning. 

The scarred Glitch smiled back. "I appreciate your humor...but you really won't be smiling for much longer." He told her, then turned towards a Glitch that remained with his hood pulled down. "I've been wanting another Chatterboxer to practice on, haven't you?" The Glitch asked casually.

"Chatterboxer to practice on?" The CBette murmured, unconsciously repeating the words aloud. Her eyes fell on the wolf. "Oh my Claaws, what... Aspen?!" She yelped, her grin dissappearing.

Two seconds. That was all the time it took for her easy smile to reappear. "Well, friends, it seems like you've foiled my attempt." She commented. "But allow me to introduce myself before you do whatever evil Glitches do?"

Several pairs of bronze-colored eyes stared at the CBette. She stood up--not without the Glitches moving their weapons closer--and swept them a bow. "I'm Chinchilla, at your service." She said as if they were meeting at a party and not in the middle of a clearing in the woods, where definitely evil things dwelled.

"And we care because?" One of the Glitches snarled.

"I thought it would be nice to introduce myself before the real rescue party completes their ambush." Chinchilla informed them.

So...I posted a sheet on the other thread by the way. Did you see it?

Arrows began to rain from the trees almost instantly.

The Glitches turned, unsure of which target to focus on--Chinchilla or the help coming from the treetops. She solved that problem for them by pushing something on her wrist and charging forward. 

A bronze shield spiraled into existence. She immediately swung it towards a couple of glitches armed with swords, using it like a battering ram. Realm winced.

She held a sword--Realm had no idea what era it was from--in the other hand (Where did she get that from?), and used both like a deadly weapon. ...Though Realm was pretty sure shields weren't supposed to be used like that.

Realm just stood there, watching arrows rain from the sky and staring at her sword as it moved in a gleaming arc of iron.

The wolf was her biggest problem, though. It easily dodged her weapons and sunk it's fangs into her tail. 

Her sword clattered to the ground. She whirled and kicked at it, her attention easily turned, even in the midst of battle. The scarred Glitch dashed towards her, two golden daggers held expertly in his hands--

When another Glitch grabbed Chinchilla's fallen blade and hit him upside the head with the flat of the blade. He crumpled.

Realm squinted. No, it wasn't another Glitch. It was a CBette, who had somehow slipped into the midst of the battle. "Chilla!" She called, tossing the sword to her. Chinchilla caught it. "I told you not to call me that!" She called back.

The CBette tossed her electric-blue hair over one shoulder. "Riiight, Chin." She replied. Snow spiralled from her fingertips and into the face of the nearest Glitch. This is normal, right? People do this all the time in the Chatterbox... 

"Win!" Chinchilla called back as she ducked under a blade and brought her foot up in a powerful kick. The CBette elbowed someone, frowning. "Inchill--" The CBette began. Chinchilla grabbed her and yanked her forwards, out of the way of an attack. "Please tell me you didn't run into the middle of a battle without any weapons." Chinchilla muttered.

"I'm an agent. I always have weapons." The CBette replied. Chinchilla laughed, then brought her sword up and knocked the last Glitch out.

Which left Realm standing, alone in the middle of the clearing, which was filled with...corpses. Of Glitches. Realm immediately backed away. "Uhm...don'tkillmeplease?" He blurted. Chinchilla blinked. 

"We won't. But the others will." The other CBette stated before grabbing his wrist and running.
