The promised picture--

They're dead. All of those Glitches. They're all dead. Realm couldn't stop thinking about it as he walked, being pulled along by the two CBers. They were talking to each other, but he could barely focus on any of it.

"--Told you not to play by someone's bluff--" Chinchilla was saying. Realm sunk into his thoughts again. 

I thought Chatterboxers were supposed to be defenders. Not--

"Oh, for the Inkwell's sake. I get it." The agent muttered, then tugged on Realm's sleeve. He flinched and met her blue-eyed gaze. "We didn't kill them." She clarified suddenly. "Wha--" Realm began. "In case you were horrified, we don't kill. I just--got carried away with the explanation, and we had to get outta there." She muttered, then shot a glare at Chinchilla. "Happy?" 

"Happy!" Chinchilla replied, beaming. She was completely different now that there were no enemies around her.

They continued in silence for a ways, Realm wondering whether to be relieved or concerned that Chatterboxers could get carried away so easily. Or...no. Not all Chatterboxers were the same. Not all Glitches were the same either. Realm knew that for a fact. He couldn't just judge them on each of their individual flaws. And besides, they had to get him out of there--some of the other Chatterboxers weren't too fond of Glitches.

He was interrupted from his thoughts--yet again--by a sudden cough. He jerked his head up. "We're here!" Chinchilla announced, grinning. "Here?" Realm asked, then mentally cursed himself. Of course they were going somewhere. What did he think they were doing?

Here was a hill. A simple hill, covered in wild grasses. It wasn't a stronghold. It wasn't a palace. It was just a hill. 

"Password?" A cheery voice called--from where? Realm couldn't distinguish the source of the sound.

"Captain is ki--no, that was last week. What was it..." Chinchilla muttered. "Lemon Drops?" She tried. 

A section of the hill shimmered, rippled, and faded away, revealing a plain wooden doorway with an old brass knob. Realm blinked. "Glitches first?" Chinchilla suggested, pulling the door open and ushering him in.

The door opened up to reveal a cave filled with crystals. The walls were covered in them, in all their pale white, reflective glory, and crystal shards dangled from the ceiling on strings. It almost hurt to look at--a single candle could light up the entire cavern.

However, the walls were barely visible--the room was filled with Chatterboxers, old furniture, and posters. Beach balls, paper airplanes, and what looked suspiciously like fireballs shot through the air. 

The CBettes next to him didn't even blink at the chaos. "So, where to first?" Chinchilla asked. "I guess we go to whoever's an expert on glitches..." "That would be--"

Their conversation faded away as, in the crowd, Realm caught sight of what looked like a familiar pair of warm bronze-colored eyes. He got just a glimpse--and then they were gone. ...But that's not... 

"Come on...let's get you to the windwhisperer."

Hello!

Sorry to all for not posting an update, I got up at five AM and immediately got in a van with five other people. 

I'm going on a vacation for two weeks. I won't be able to write until the end...

But, in the meantime, try to guess which state I'm in! Whoever gets it first wins a...uhm...a prize that defies description. Eheh...

Hopefully I'll think of a prize by the time I get back...
