DnD on the CB

I tried posting this, and, though it was met by a enthusiastic reponse, died quickly. So, I decided to remake it. We will be using DnD 5e core rules, because that's what I have, so don't be a rules lawyer, and don't argue with the DM when I use 5e rules. Now, character sheet.

Charrie name: Serious, please. No "Sir Cupcakes" and "Lord of the Candy", only "Tariks" and "Almarels"

Character age: Above eighteen, please.

Race: As with classes, 5e cor races, so Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Human, Dragonborn, Gnome, Half-elf, Half-orc, and Tiefling.

Character Appearence:

Equipment: Write down your weapon's dice rolls, and your armor's AC additions, just so I can keep track.

Ability Scores: Roll 4d6, remove lowest die roll, though only one of a double.

There, that's over with.

Also, I'll post a new installment every Sunday, and you must have posted your actions by then.

Bard's fine, and it's a magic-user. Are you familiar with 5E mechanics?

So, I've been working on this for a few days.

Illithid Divergents

Physical Description

An illithid resembles a human in basic body structure, but taller and much more slender. Its skin is some cool color, such as pale green, mauve, or sky blue. Its skin is smooth and completely hairless, with minuscule tendrils that appear the same as hair, but no Illithid can grow a beard. It has two roughly-humanoid eyes, with slitted pupils, and the ends of its fingers are pointed, with sharp bone poking out.

History

When the Illithid Empires were formed, they were of all one species, and all Illithids looked similar to the Divergents, though it is said they were as tall as an ogre. The empires were good and just, and they lived on the far side of the Splintered Planes from Octearth. Their downfall, however, came when their explorations brought them to the plane of Earth, a place where they found terrible secrets that should never have been uncovered. There, amongst other things, they found a portal circle, leading to a terrible plane outside of the Splinters, called the Sunset, where a terrible deity, longing to be freed from the prison It had been placed in at the dawn of time, drove them mad with Its horrifying existence. It gave them crystals, which contained the personality It knew could conquer all, and made them unleash it upon the Illithid race. It transformed the ones who had come to it into the Elder Brains, and subsequently they transformed the rest of their race into the Mind Flayers. However, still a group of the originals, what came to be known as the Divergents, remained, and these fled to Octearth, where they were welcomed.

Society

Divergents, like Mind Flayers, do not have male and female names. Instead, they add a 'na to the end of a female name, and an 'do to the end of a male's. Thus, Altharid would become Altharid'na or Altharid'do.

Names: Altharid, Ilsenparint, Malinbossk, Qorik, Ullipsine, Xalliordell, Clarota

Illithid Traits

Ability Score Increase.

Your Will score increases by two, and your Intelligence or Wisdom by one.

Age.

Illithids are fully mature by age 15. Illithids live longer than humans, but they do eventually die at around the 120-year mark.

Alignment.

Divergents tend towards Lawful alignments, like the mind flayers, but are almost never evil, tending towards Good, and, less commonly, Neutral.

Size. Most illithids are at least as tall as tall humans, standing at least a few inches shy of six feet, but their bodies very slender and emaciated, weighing much less than an average being of their stature. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Superior Darkvision.

You can see, even if non-magically blindfolded, to a maximum of 120 feet.

Probe Mind

You can use an action to probe the mind of a willing or unconscious creature, dragging things even they may have forgotten from the depths of their mind. On a will creature, the DC is ten. On an unwilling, unconscious creature the DC is ten plus their Will modifier.

Mind Blast.

You can use your action to emit a Psionic blast, causing the target to take 1d6 Psychic damage per your level on a failed save.

Telepathy. You can communicate mentally with another creature that knows at least one language within a 60-foot radius. This creature doesn't need to share a language with you but unless they have telepathy themselves they can only receive and respond but can't initiate or terminate a telepathic conversation. You must be conscious to use this trait and cannot telepathically communicate with multiple creatures at once.
