Chatterbox: Inkwell

Extra! Extra! NEW

Extra! Extra! NEW roleplay.

It's two hundred years in the future and and the remnants of mankind that have survived the enviormental collapse are now thriving on a large airtight settlement on the moon, called the SunStar. But one of the elements that keeps the air in the settlement clean has run out quite suddenly, because of the Rise. (a power-hungry group of villains that wish to enslave the settlement) Forced between a desicion to be enslaved or perish, the government is desperate to overthrow the Rise in secret, but need support to do it.

name: Lea Wright (pronounced Laya Right)

age: 16

description: tall, with short brown hair that looks as if it wants to be red. soft brown eyes. strong.

backstory: her parents are in the Rise, but Lea alone in her family of seven realizes the cruelty of the Rise's methods. Discovering one of the Rise's top secret plans, Lea runs away from her family and becomes a spy for the government. knowing she can never return home, she lives amongst the streets, stealing what she needs to survive, looking for a way to spy on the Rise. with her parents constantly in search of her and the information she posesses, Lea is constantly on the move and is ready for a change in the way the people of SunStar live.

I paused in the street, not sure the once safe cover of night could be my cloak much longer. I could sense the presense of another human being, could almost hear their shallow breathing as the air of SunStar slowly, but steadily, evaporated. I shut my eyes, sure I had heard something, but not sure whether they could hear me. With a deep breath of precious air I slipped into an alleyway, at the mercy of the shadows as the other followed in pursuit of their quarry. Me.

((Hi, Katie! Are you new? If so, welcome. I'm on vacation in Missouri right now...

Also, FYI, this post will send your thread to the last page, due to a bug in the system. So don't worry if it disappears.))

May I be Lea's evil elder sister?

Name: Elvne Sylvia Wright

Appearance: Eighteen years old, 5'8, pale blond hair cut like a boy's, light green eyes. Very little resemblance to younger sister.

Backstory: Has very little conscience. Supports her parents and their views of the Rise but has taken it to a more radical level; whereas Mom and Dad do more planning and strategizing as opposed to, say, demonstrations, spying, etc., etc., Elvne is very deeply involved with the Rise.

Followup on Lea Wright.

The alleyway was quiet, but the silence was ominous, like death. That was the way things have been lately since the Rise became strong. I sighed, gazing up at the stars, the stars that gave me hope. Through the thick glass dome I could see hundreds of thousands of stars, much more than you could see anywhere on earth. The Rise couldn't see that at their headquarters. their hq was a silver box-ish structure with one enormous castle-like building inside, and it was impossible to see in through the sides and top, in case spies tried to snoop around. And it was located on the dark side of the moon, a place even the bravest of us never dared to journey. it seemed it was impossible to penetrate their walls, to get the air clean again. And yet, seeing the black abyss of sky twinkle as the stars illuminated the opression within, I felt we could do the same.

((All right, guys, post!))

Elvne was up late, going over the strategy plans that her parents had left on the table. They weren't even good at this sort of thing, in Elvne's opinion. Why the Masterhead wanted them for the Rise anyway was beyond her comprehension...

If he thought that they would raise their children to help the organization, he was dead wrong. Elvne, of course, served the Rise with every fiber of her being, and was extremely involved in the movement. But that sister of hers... Elvne hardly remembered her name, or at least tried not to. What was it, Leslie or Lee or something? She'd run anyway, completely shirked any responsibliity that had been given to her. Elvne gritted her teeth at the thought, and, as always when she thought of traitors, even though it was her own sister, she felt a sudden rush of hate, a desire to reap revenge on them.

And Augustine, her brother. He was seventeen, and also served the Rise. But in the most clumsy, unhelpful ways possible. Just a few days ago, he'd set fire to the house of one of the rebel's homes- without clearance from the Masterhead, of course- and gotten three of the Rise's most valuable agents captured, possibly killed.

And what did Elvne's parents do about it? Absolutely nothing. They just sat around planning.

Elvne grimaced in disgust as she corrected one of her father's maps.

Nysem

Nysem is a female Space cat.

The space cats want to destroy the sunstar for their own evil plans. They wan't control over the moon. Space cats(They're actually called Kiy'shi)are known about by everyone on the Sunstar. They don't need air.

Nysem is a rebel against the Kiy'shi's idea, even she is one herself.

Kiy'shi look a lot like cats, exept they have larger ears, stand on hind legs and have three tails.

Nysem can be dangerous, as she is still a kiy'shi. She has blueish fur and purple eyes. Nysem is clever and cunning. The Kiy'shi police are after her. She can sometimes act a little evil sometimes, but she is not in the Rise.
