-Hunger Games-

Okay, how many of you have read the Hunger Games? If so, raise your virtual hand! Have you ever thought about how fun a virtual Hunger Games (preferably with less killing and dying, and less bloodying and maiming, etc.) would be?

Welp, I'm making one! 24 contestants max, and two people per district. Moi is the gamemaker.

If you'd like to volunteer, fill out the sheet below.

Name:

District:

Preferred Weapon:

Special skill (Choose one, and it has to be related to your district. If you were in District 6, your special skill might be making sleds, because they're transportation, or something like that.):

Age:

Other:

Note, districts are first come first serve. If you're in a more popular district, say a career, you'll have more money in your sponsorship.

Once at least six to twelve people have signed up, I shalt start my gamemaking! The format will be as follows:

_Wasabi_ -

You meet an invisible barrier. What do you do?

Player -

I lick it.

_Wasabi_ -

It tastes spicy

And so on!

So yeah, have fun, and donut maim/murder each other!

Who do you pray to? XD Just kidding. You have taken . . . the Ares pack. Inside, you find the following. Weapon of choice, jerky, combat boots tipped with iron, bottle of water, sleeping bag. :)

I grab an extremely long pack labelled '11', knowing it arries my polearms, then snag a nearby, significantly stuffed pack that has no number on it. The contents inside of the stuffed pack make a muffled thudding noise as I sprint successfully to the mountain. Nobody harms me. I find a place to hide soon after checking to make sure I wasn't followed.

Victoria waits for a while. she is the last to go off her platform, almost five minutes after they were allowed. she sees two people fighting for a pack: number 13. It is thrown in the air, and she debates on whether to get it or not. after she decided against it(she is horrible at catching) she realizes the pack is falling straight above her. the two people look at her angrily as the pack lands on her face. she touches her cheek and feels a bit of blood trickling down. then Vicky sees two figures running toward her. She springs upwards and runs in a random direction. one figure grabs another bag, whereas the other runs toward her. She sprints like hed life depends on it, until she reaches a place nearby a pond. Vicky then climbs an olive tree nearby and opens the pack.

Daisy snatches backpack number four before hightailing it over to the ruins.  (Let's make a group of careers- lemme know if you're interested.  They would have teamed up in the training period before hand and made a temporary contract, so they already know who to trust).

As soon as the timer runs out I run to the center of the cornucopia where I know that My Prize is waiting. A pack with the symbol for Ares, and it's big too. Perfect. I ignore everyone else and make a mad dash for the pack. I grab my bag and book it for the woods. rather than stick with my fellow careers, I decide to go alone~

It appears we have a theme going, wasabi. I'll have to study my greek myths :)

Kinni runs towards the olive-mountain section, and tries to gather as many olives and other food as possible while not announcing her presence. At dusk, she finds a secure hiding place (probably a cave, but you can change it to make it plot-convinent) to sleep and watch the sky for fallen tributes. She has probably also found a sharp rock or stick to use as a weapon. It's not the best weapon, but she hopes she'll find or be gifted with a better one before she has to use it. She keeps a lookout for other tributes and a low profile.

I'm in no rush to reach the Cornucopia-- by the time I get there, most of the other tributes will either be dead, or have scattered like frightened rabbits. When the gong sounds, I pause a moment to take in the scenery, before hopping off my pedestal and sauntering over towards the other Careers. Weaponless, I might seem an easy target to whichever of them gets it in their head to pick me off, but I didn't spend all those years perfecting myself for nothing. Besides, they know they want my skills on their side. For the moment, they have me shelved as a possible hazard, but it won't be until most everyone else is dead that they really recognize me as a threat. Deep down, they must know they don't have a chance.

When I'm about halfway over, I glance up and spot some tribute girl headed off in the direction of the ruins. Now would be a fine time to show off my skills. Smoother than water and quicker than thought, I scoop up a loose stone and sling it after her. To my faint surprise, she ducks under the rise just in time. I laugh a little so my sponsors think I didn't really mean to hit her, and waltz on down to my destination.

Once I reach the Cornucopia, I give the luggage a once-over and shoulder a light gunny-sack marked with the number 3. I don't bother about weapons-- I know my pride and joy, my "Thread of Fate," must be on its way.

Ack! Sorry I’m late!

Kary-

I rise up on the platform, adrenaline already building as I try to stay calm. The cornucopia rises in front of me, and before I have time to process what’s happening, I race towards the middle, speeding ahead of the rest of the pack. I snatch the large backpack labeled “6”, throwing it over my slender shoulder and ducking down as a sword slashes above my head. As soon as I can, I race toward the mountain, touching my tiny elephant necklace as I stop to take a breath. Glancing around, I see olive trees and a girl ahead of me. A stick cracks under my foot, but I slip behind a tree as she turns around. A ways ahead, I notice an odd lump in the underbrush. Waiting until the girl is out of sight, I scamper over to it and kick it gently with my foot. I grin as I opens up to be a burrow, large and abandoned. I squeeze into, only opening the pack once I cover the hole back up with stray leaves and dirt. Digging a hole on one side, I make a spot big enough for me to sneak through and cover it back up with a large rock. I grab a stick lying on the ground to punch a few small holes in the side and unzip the large backpack, sighing as it reminds me of the one year we got new supplies. Blinking in relief, I curl up on the hard dirt floor and peer out the window/door at the beautiful sky, streaked purple and pink. I reach into the corner where I stashed a few fruits that I found on my way up here, and touch them for safety the same way I rub my elephant necklace. Then, trying to take my mind off the death trap I’m locked in, I start braiding some long strands of grass and repeating an old folk song in my head.

Eos-

The gong rang. I dash toward a large-ish backpack labeled "13" and ran toward the ruins, hoping there's a place to hide. Thank goodness, there is. Two pillars collided and formed an upside-down V. There's room for my pack and a place to sleep. I pray that no one will find me and that there's a knife in my bag. Then I stay in the cove, pleaing for safety. Night falls, and a go to sleep.
