Main character spots are now closed.  Any one who joins now will be background characters.

(This does not go for you JohnF.Q, just post as soon as you have a chance.  You’ll still be a main character).

Are the people who were originally main characters still going to be?

I think Peregrine said yes, but I'm not sure. Pages 7 and on should hold the answer. Also, I really like your name.

Section 1, Group 1:

They had stopped for the night.  The day’s journey had been a long one, though uneventful.  Before turning in they had built a fire and gathered around it.  The only sound was the crackling of the fire and a small breeze in the trees.

Tuxedo Kitten broke the silence.  “We haven’t reported back to the Admins”.

”Yeah? So how are you going to do that?  I don’t see any post offices around here.” Shadow said sarcasticly.

Nyx jumped in. “You don’t see any post offices because there aren’t any.  We’re in the middle of nowhere.  Use your brains, someone is going to have to go back.” she said.

Shadow glared at Nyx and opened his/her mouth.  Leafy, seeing an argument coming on, broke in, “I think there should be at least two people we send back.  It’d be too dangerous to send one.” Heads nodded in agreement.

Agent Winter spoke up, “I’ll go.”

”I will go with her” Sybill said.

”And so will I” said Joan B. of Arc.

”Good” said Tuxedo.  “Let’s rest tonight, tomorrow you can get started.”

Section 1, Group 2:

Several days later....

“The Questors need help.  I’m sure of it.  I mean, we haven’t heard from them in — ages” Mahriel stated.

They were seated around a large circular table.  The Admins around one side, CBers around the other.

Pine spoke, “I’m sick of doing nothing but research.”

”We’d be of more help to the Questors if we accompanied them!” added Luminescence.

”We’ll die no matter what we do” Midnight said pessimisticly.

Midnight!” hissed Luminescence, Midnight ignored her.

The Admins had been listening in silence, but now one spoke.  “We understand you want to accompany those on the Quest.  However, we are unwilling to risk the lives of yet more Chatterboxers.”

”But — “ everyone began at once.

The voice of the next Admin who spoke sounded overly patient.  “We have told you many times you will not be allowed to accompany the Questors.”  It sounded like this discussion had been going on for a while.

HeroesofOlympus opened her mouth. But another Admin spoke first, “The conversation has ended” he said firmly.

Just then a sharp rap sounded on the door.  Everyone looked to the door in surprise.  “Enter” said an Admin.

The door opened and a tall, thin girl stepped in.  She wore a black gown and a dark green cloak.

”What is it, Viola?” asked an Admin.

“Three of the Questors have returned.”

Before anyone could say a word they appeared, Win, Sybill, and Joan.

”Hey! We want to go one the Quest with —“ began Pine, but Felix shushed him when Win started to speak.

”We came to report back,” she said to the Admins, “and to establish a better means of communication.”

When Win, Sybill, and Joan had finnished telling of what had happened so far to the Questors the other CBers started again.

”Could you use us on the Quest?” Pajama Master asked the three Questors.

The Questors looked at each other.  “We could,” said Sybill, “the gargoyles were fierce and if we met with something bigger...” she trailed off.

”YES!” shouted Pine.  He lept from his chair and danced around the room, “We can GO!”

”We have yet to be told we may go.” JohnF.Q pointed out.

”But they probably will” Blaze said, looking hopefully at the Admins.

The Admins turned to Sybill, Joan, and Win.  “Would they be of use to you on the Quest?” one asked.

”They could” Joan said.

The Admins relented, “You realize your lives will be at risk.” an Admin told them.

They nodded, trying to keep their faces serious.

”You also realize it will not be easy.” another Admin told them.

They nodded again.

”We will meet here again tomorrow to discuss details.  Same time.” said an Admin resignedly.

The new Questors left the room, grinning broadly.  The old Questors followed.

What would you like to do while you wait for the next meeting?

For those who I don’t know there gender I just put “his/her”.  If you happen to know the gender of any of the old CBers plese tell me.  It’s awkward to put “his/her”.

JohnF.Q, I had to put you in there without you sheet.  I had to go off what I know of you from your comments, which is quite limited.  Hopefully I did alright.

Thank you so much for reading this Admins!  It was long.

I like being a character in the story!

I vote for training the new Questors a little before we leave. And showing them the map, which I think I still have?

Yes, you have a copy of the map.  The Questors that were you left behind have the original.  Thank you for reminding me, I meant to put that in my first section but forgot!

I agree with Sybill.

*scoffs* I don't need training!

Yeah right, Midnight. I also vote training and map.

Thank you, Blaze.

And so, @Peregrine, my AEs and I would like to be trained and see the map.

Peregrine, don't worry you did a great job representing me. Likewise the first installment looks great. Apologies for the delay, bellow is mycharacter form, do tell me if my powers are too OP? I did try my best to limit them given their nature.

Sybill& Hero'sOfOlympus I concur both, training, map viewing, and architectural combat should be undertaken. Additionally I would liket o review those mystical markings, found earlier. Being a Magician, perhaps I can illuminate a bit more about them. Perhaps it is an illusion of some kind? Though if I remember (forgive me if I'm wrong, my mind can be a goldfish at times) even some mages were having difficulty with its deciphering, so it may not be easy task.

USERNAME: John F.Q

APPROXIMATEAGE: 15-18

Gender/Pronouns: Male with associated pronouns.

CB APPEARANCE: Rather average. Aside that is from my neatly pointedshoes, rarely polished, and the fedora that's always a slight balancing act when placed upon by curly black hair. As to attire, I always dress formally though not beyond required collard shirts andearth colored corduroy pants. Occasional, when adventuring, a long grayish felt overcoats will make an appearance along with a red cravat.

PERSONALITY: I often frown when thinking or simply confused; tending to be rather steadfast when meeting the eyes of others. Likewise this honest attentiveness is prescribed when listening to others. One likes to think I have an aura of mystery but it's most likely stage illusion in any situation. Often decisions of any sort become conflicted and take rather more thought than can be acted upon quickly and with resolution. While extroverted with companions, I am more introverted around strangers or acquaintances. As I rarely find enemies at the same rate as friends; that is to say I am rarely quick with earthier.

WEAPONRY/OFFENSIVEMAGIC/GADGETS: One (moss covered) Irish long sword (with the abilityto turn into a fountain pen) , one rather adept lawyer named Mr. Legion (commonly miss called Legon), and intermittently quick reflexes.

DEFENSETECH/MAGIC/ARMOR: Sword arm gauntlet (right handed), fourconfectionery explosives (TimBits), a banana (encase our opponent issimply low on potassium), and defensive shadow morphing (that is the ability to find a patch of shadow and camouflage within it's folds, though this may result in my personage suffering from brief asphyxiation.)

MISC POWERS: Retroactive prophesy; otherwise know as the ability to tell thing that could have happened in the past; And the ability to freeze time though sometimes I can't move along with everyone else. Thence only allowing for brief communication. Also the ability to recognize references to classical literature, like those of Edgar Allan Poe.

PERCENTILE CHANCE OF A DRAMATIC ENTRANCE: 75%

PERCENTILE CHANCE OF DOING SOMETHING DUMB BUT ALSO GREAT: 55%

OTHER:My familiar is a raven with a quadrant for quathing words and infrequently time traveling. He was also christened 'Poe' a long time ago in a distant snowy land. Though the name could just have come from illusion or myth. Also, Mr. Legion has asked very politely to never be refered to by his first name which, at the horror of repeating it, is Larynx

Also many thanks to the Admin/s which corrected the error in my last post. You were very helpful.

You're very welcome, John F.Q.

John F. Q, I have a few questions for you.  Your powers are work perfectly fine!

1: Will Mr. Legion accompany you on the Quest?  Or will he be left behind and contacted when needed? Either is fine with me.  Tell Mr. Legion not to worry, I will never refer to him by his first name.

2: Could you explain what a familiar is?  I’ve heard of it, but was never clear on what it was.  Also, will you familliar be joining you on the Quest?

3: (This one is unrelated to your sheet).  Do you play an/any instrument(s)?  You remind me very much of someone in my orchestra.  I play violin, and would like to play trombone.  Though my parents are going to need a lot of convincing before they let me play it.

Terribly sorry for the late reply, until recently my life has been accosted with schoolwork. Anway, I'm very glad to hear my powers aren't too over powered. I tried my best to provide reasonable limitations so hopefully it's not to my detriment within duels.

So, in answer to your queries:

1. I'm afraid I hadn't quite figured out the realities of bringing a lawyer along. I'd assume not as he's rather tetchy about dirt=covered shoes. But then again his services might come in handy against the forces of darkness. So perhaps I can leave that narrative choice to you, provided that's alright?

Regrettably, Mr. Legion was rather peeved , upon my relay to him, that you wouldn't use his first name. Yet, I think it seemed more directed at myself for even admitting he had a first name. It could also be because peeved is his general mood, when he's not bored that is.

2. I believe a familiar is any creature that assists a witch or wizard with enchantments. Possibly they have an emotional or spiritual connection with their owner that allows for this. So for example, black cats presumably were fashionable familiars around the middle ages.

As I myself am a stage Magician, I too have a familair. Though admitedly perhapes Poe's role as  is more affectatious than magical. Yet it must be pointed out that I always feel out of place without his presence. So perhaps he is more important that even I am aware. Meaning that, provided pets are allowed, I'd very much like my raven to accompany me.

3. Not as such. While, like most small children, I did have a brief stint with piano (whereupon my parents insisted I learn despite my limited attention span). Ever since I have not returned to a musical instrument despite my current desire to do so. I am however in a choir so there is a possible, however unlikely, that we've meet. Though more likely than not I've just got a similar personality, to someone you've meet.

~With due respect,

Poe can definitely accompany you on the Quest.  It will be no trouble to include him.

I can see both advantages and disadvantages to bringing Mr. Legion on the Quest.  Perhaps he had better stay with the Admins and other CBers as the Questors will likely have to deal with things worse than dirty shoes.  He might be able to help the Questors even away from them in some way. Though if he would like to come he is always welcome.

I aplogize about causing Mr. Legion to become peeved.  If I was the one to cause it.

I think it unlikely we have met.  The only people I have met that sing in a choir are girls.  I had to ask, I like to think that I have met a fellow Chatterboxer without knowing it.  Though the chances are very unlikely.

Thank you for answering my questions so kindly.  Sometimes I will suddenly come out with a ton of questions and I worry someone will get annoyed with them.

Quite right. I think Mr Legion should stay behind for the time being. Perhaps he can rustle up a lawsuit against this Archivist fellow. Though it remains to be seen if the forces of darkness can be held accountable to paperwork, alone?

Absolutely no need to apologize; Mr Legion is always peeved. Except on the odd occasion he wins an argument or is enjoying some Ural Grey tea. He's just oddly tetchy about the fact I mentioned the existence of his first name. Though I most admit I'm beginning to think his name is really more of a joke between us, he's just got a dry sense of humor is all.

I too find the concept of meeting a fellow CBer intriguing. Especially given the fact, I might never know for certain whether or not I've past one on the street. I did bump into someone from a choir once but that was a while ago. So, it seems we're in unfortunate agreement that it's rather unlikely. 'Rather' it seems being the word upon which the most intrigue rests.

Tangentially, once my sister and I were discussing our Ski Lodge and wondered aloud if such a thing were possible; given that a CBer would be the only possible person to understand what the heck we were talking about it would have proved more likely to identify them.

You're welcome, questions are rarely a bad thing. In fact it is, probably, a sign of an inquiring mind. It's more my fear that I take to long to answer them or that my responses are too long winded.
