NaNoWriMo.

Having heard good things (very good things along the lines of "NaNo tore out my soul, melted my brain, and broke my left thumb") about NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth, I skimmed a few older threads on the subject and then checked out the NaNo site. Very very extensively. Then with my mother's permission I signed up. It looks very interesting. I'm pretty sure there are at least two other people on here who do it...

Anyway, I'm practicing the "procrastinating" part for November by making random posts on Cricket instead of finishing my summer homework... the middle school teachers will just adore me, I'm sure.

@ Adina: Life is hard when you live in NJ; it's not letting me log in... *is extremely annoyed* And hasn't for the last *five hours*. Has anyone ever had this problem? Ideas? Advice? And all this just had to happen on the day I finished So Long and Thanks for All the Fish, and Marvin /died/! Died! That was really crummy... And we had to go to a picnic, and I absolutely loathe picnics... Aaargh I've had such a day... *whines*

*smiles nicely* I believe I'm quite finished now.

If you think So Long And Thanks For All The Fish was bad, do not dare to read the last one. Douglas Adams wanted to finish the series on a happy note but died before that could happen.

My dad is checking out the website, and when/if he gives me the go-ahead, I will look all of you guys up! *cackles evilly*

@ Jenni: But my entire account appears to have been deleted! *dies* I emailed the moderators, though.

@ Adina: I'm about halfway through Mostly Harmless. That and #4 were both very well-written, but in my opinion jut didn't measure up to the first three. Earth should've just stayed destroyed if you ask me.

AHHHHH, I really want to do this, but I am in another Shakespeare play in November, so I won't have enough time to write... perhaps next year. *sigh*

Mary Liz has recovered from her heart attack now, having re-signed-up for it.

Very strange how I get worked up about the littlest things... I need to stop doing that. :P

Try a new name, and don't say that you're 11. Keep telling yourself, you're not exactly 11, you're 11.69!

Mary Liz, you've been deleted again. I think you should think of a new user name. MLiz, or Mary L? Or something like that? Ooh, how about Wolfbar! lol.

I'm not going to do the normal NaNo, I think I'll just attempt to write a novel in November.

You're just kidding about me being brilliant, aren't you. Yes, I've recently developed a habit of not putting question marks on my questions. And about ML Wolfbar-yes! *eats cookies*

I'm thinking about doing it, though my parents want me to get settled into eighth grade before I sign up :D I'll tell you when I have an answer :D (Thanks for suggesting this!! I really think it would be fun!)

@ Jenni: Oh no, I was serious! I never would've thought of using Wolfbar... brilliant. :D

@ Koffee: Yay! :)

Also, Jenni, I think you were the one who liked The Neverending Story by Michael Ende? I'm about halfway through it, and it's *genius*. :)
