I'm going to have a short-story contest. Here are the rules:
1: the story must be your original work
2: it must be at least 300 words
3: you must use some dialouge
4:only 1 submission
Here's the good news:
5: you can choose any genre you want
6: you have till June 15, which is 2 months.
7: you may use something that you have already written
Ok, happy writing. I'm looking forward to seeing your submissions. the stories will be judged on June 20th. There are 3 prizes, also.

There are 4 categories and three submissions, so if you're going to judge now you should probably take away the categories. Also, there's another 22 days.

Can I post part one of a book i'm already whriting? it might be a littl more then 3,000 words. i need to check. if it counts as a story for this thread, i would love to post it.
That's pretty long for one comment, but if you can submit it we'll review it for posting. But you might want to cut it down a bit for this thread.

Strawberri, do you want to set an upper limit on the length of stories for this contest? It will be a lot of reading for the judge (and for Admin). NOK, if OK with Strawberri, you can try. I'm not sure if it will work or not.
