"More adventure!" Bea whispered. We walked down the city streets.

"Look," I said, "remember, I have light magic. Won't do much for scooters, but if there's more darkness, I can find a way."

"Well why didn't we do that before?!" Bex started ranting. 

"Save it." I muttered. It wasn't like my powers were easy to use or control. "Let's just go get the scooters."

I could tell there was a bit of a huff from how I was acting, but I ignored it, focusing on our goal instead. Get to the scooters. Get to the subway. Simple and straightforward, with no plot twists. Hopefully.

I caught my reflection in a piece of metal on a building and grinned. "Guys, look at this."

What I was staring at first was a girl with light brown skin and honey-colored hair swirled into two messy buns. My eyes glowed for a moment and then the reflection changed to a boy with short pink hair. He copied all of my movements.

Using my reflection powers felt good, much better than using my light powers. The others seemed to like it, too. It was...fun. That usually wasn't something I used to describe things. I laughed and let the reflection go back to normal.
