So. NaNoWriMo starts

So. NaNoWriMo starts in *checks YWP link* three days, eight hours, sixteen minutes and seven seconds. Six. Five. Four... *gets annoying*

Yes. I am very excited. I have blackmailed almost all of my friends into doing it too, and instead of going to the regional kickoffs we're having our own party this Sunday. (Yes, we're geeks. What's your point?) Kathy and I are going to start writing together on Halloween at midnight (after eating obscene amounts of candy and getting sugar rushes). Needless to say I cannot wait. *babbles*

Rambling aside... how is everyone else (who is doing nano) getting ready, and what does everyone plan on writing about (if you're planning at all)?

Three days, eight hours, eleven minutes and forty seconds...

2228 words! that's six pages in size fourteen. I started yesterday. I'm not in NaNoWriMo but thought I'd play along and write something.

Sadly, I'm not doing it this year, because I didn't prepare and sign up and ask my parents, etc. However, I am going to do it next year. Best of luck to all writers!
