Hello, hello, everyone! Little Crow here, taking over for Charlie for a day...he seems a little bit tired. Must be hard dragging around that huge, clumsy human body all day.

I'm super impressed by your code-breaking and riddle-guessing skills. This time we entered "P-R-E-T-E-N-D," and the gate swung right open. And I'm telling you, this cave is FULL of shiny rocks and weird lights! For a crow like me, it's practically heaven.

There's another WEIRD door at the end of this hall, covered in weird carvings, and there's another combo lock, too.

Who knows the answer to this one?

What else? I'm forgetting everything. Oh yeah! I liked when Charlie made a list of notes a few days ago, so I want to make one, too:

LITTLE CROW'S COOL NOTES!!!!

1. The old badger smells weird like old human sweaters and so does his tea. But he's talking more and more, so that's nice. He recited the (uncrossed) letters off the bark again, this time much faster: -J-M-E-M-I-A-K-Z-G-E-F-H-P-Q-X-S-B-Y-W-R-C-T-O-N-U-V-D-L-

2. B.I.G. makes a lot of noise. I mean, they always have, but now that we're a little closer to the surface, wow, you can really hear their digging machines tearing up the Labyrinth Lands plateaus. I don't understand why they always have to...wreck everything.

3. I miss Zephyra :\ but she's off fighting the good fight. I have to keep that in mind.

4. Seems like the louder the old badger gets and the rowdier the smaller animals get, the quieter Who gets. I wonder if he's sad down here :\

5. I miss Zephyraaaaa

6. Watch me fly in circles!

7. OK, I guess I'm going a little bit nuts down in this dark caves, too...but who isn't? Also, going nuts is kinda nice sometimes.

It says:

I was there in the beginning and I'll be there at the end. I'm in the gaps between your teeth. In letters you don't send. I'm all that's impossible.

The only thing that's free is if life you venture. _____ Then all you'll gain is me. It's a seven letter answer.

This is what I read.

I WAS THERE IN THE BEGINNING, AND I'LL BE THERE IN THE END. I'M IN THE GAPS BETWEEEN YOUR TEETH. IN LETTERS YOU DON'T SEND. I'M ALL THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. THE ONLY THING THAT'S FREE. IF IN THE END YOU VENTURE __________, THEN ALL YOU'LL GAIN IS ME."

I'm scared, really scared.  It's been several days since I've talked to the wind, flown, and really done anything.  Maybe its just me going crazy, but I can hear voices.  It's not the wind, I know that for sure.  But, well.  I've made out some of it.  Mostly it's just mumbles and groans.  But there's words mixed in.  They scare me, and more then anything I want to get out.  I've tried everything.  Nothing works. Well almost nothing.  Because I'm not dead or alive really.   I might.....no it's too risky.  Please help.

Little Crow, I've got to say that you are the wackiest, most hilarious crow I have met.

Luckily, I have just communicated with my story teller, Sophia. She says a friend (Jacob) helped her figure it out. Her other classmates (especially Asriel) also contributed. She says that they figured out that it said:

I WAS THERE IN THE BEGGINING AND I'LL BE THERE IN THE END, I'M IN THE GAPS BETWEEN YOUR TEETH IN THE LETTERS YOU DONT SEND IN ALL THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE THE ONLY THING THAT'S FREE IF IN LIFE YOU VENTURE _______ THEN ALL YOU'LL GAIN IS NEAR

They figured out that the answer is NOTHING.

Captcha says meya. Yes, it is May. Oh wait, is that your name? OK Maya.

Sorry, typo. Near is actually me. Okay so, thank you Lucy for playing the fact that I might be a spy. Way to make things interesting!

Hey all! Sorry I'm going to post this again on this one because I don't know if Thimble has read it. Anyway, I will be joining soon...maybe...depends if I get lost or not. :)

Finally! I have arrived.

This is where they said the Labyrinth tunnels would be. This cave opening that seemed to radiate darkness and death. I glanced at Cealani. He glanced nerviously back and gestured for me to go in first. You see, Powers are normally fearless. Strong. We control the world! But for things we don't control we fear. At one point we have all feared each other. But we know each other.

This is different.

There is a Power, coming from the tunnels. It was unknown. Claaws couldn't tell what it was. It was like to all you humans who have only had five senses researching another animal's sixth sense. It was unknown. It was hard to know what it was. Trying to figure it out. To the Powers...it was like a seventh sense.

Claaws swallowed hard and took a step fowards. Then, in a flash of darkness she shrunk to the size of a panther, well just a head taller then a panther. She glanced at Cealani, who in a flash of light blue light, shrunk to the size of a large white and yellow crow, with a single, long yellow tail feather and at the tip a hint of brown. He squawked indignantly and took flight, hovering behind Claaws. She sighed and looked back to the tunnel. Darkness....

It was sort of like her darkness, she realized she must be feeling much more familiar with this sixth sense than Cealani was. But it was not quite the same. It seemed to be more powerful. Like it controlled the deepest evil of the world.

Or perhaps made it.

Claaws squeezed her eyes closed, opened them, then squeezed them closed again. News had gotten out that her Eli was missing. And that new Celeste (thanks so much admins it worked!!) or PowerFriend, as the animals called her. There was also another but she could care less about another animal. She had basically raised Eli. She wasn't about to let a dark cave swallow her hole. Even if there was another Power hidden in there

Another Power? How would there be another Power? Who would have made it?

Cealani squaked again, and it seemed like he was going to turn around. "No. We must go in. For Eli. For my little warrior."

At that Claaws walked to the mouth of the cave, took a deep breath, and stepped inside.

(PS, Thimble. Jaaws creats all evil, Claaws everything bad. Jaaws creates the deepest darkest evils, while Claaws creates bad. So Jaaws rules the evilest of all like Catastrophe and Claaws rules everything else. I also made an RP about the first war of Kyngdom, and was hoping if you could clear some things up on it. I created that thread as in I hoped it would clear things up about the history of the Powers and Jaaws. Who, I guess tecnically is a Power. So there would be seven Powers. Interesting. Anyway, please post how Jaaws and Catastrophe met, how Jaaws was planning to rule, how she fell into a deep sleep, all that good stuff. I've also given others the okay to write in Jaaws' view on that thread. You know, to bring interest back into Kyngdom. And they can write in Claaws' view and the other Powers. And together we can create the history of Kyndom. :)

(PPS, I am making it my goal to make Kyngdom interesting again!

Sorry Wiseowl, but I'm not sure about nothing being the answer.

Why not?

NOTHING WAS THERE IN THE BEGINNING, NOTHING WILL BE THERE IN THE END. NOTHING IS IN THE GAPS BETWEEEN YOUR TEETH. NOTHING IS IN LETTERS YOU DON'T SEND. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. NOTHING IS THE ONLY THING THAT'S FREE. IF IN THE END YOU VENTURE NOTHING, THEN ALL YOU'LL GAIN IS NOTHING."

It works.

Arra doesn't think my answer is right, but I'm so sure of it! The more I think of it, the more I'm sure. There is nothing in the gaps between your teeth, nothing in the letters you don't send, nothing is impossible (that's what I've learned so far in Kyngdom), nothing is free, if you don't try nothing (excuse my bad grammar) you won't gain nothing either!

I'm sorry Wiseowl, I am kind of rejecting your answer too quickly. Your argument makes sense, I'm just confused about the last line of the riddle. Venture means "to go" or "to travel". How can you travel nothing?

Venture can also mean:

1.  to expose to hazard :  risk, gamble <ventured a buck or two on the race>
2.  to undertake the risks and dangers of :  brave <ventured the stormy sea>
3.  to offer at the risk of rebuff, rejection, or censure <venture an opinion>

Thank you Admins. I guess I'm going to have to eat my own words. I think you should definitely give nothing a try.

You're welcome. I just looked in a dictionary.

Sorry, Arra, but I think Wiseowl is right on this one. ;)

P.S. Little Crow, you are the funniest. bird. ever!! Down with the Cypher and saying animals don't have feelings--because I sure have feelings for animals!!! ;)

RP Section!

After talking with Wiseowl, Trill walked through the door. "Impossible....venture....gain....Nothing?" she heard Wiseowl say. "I agree," Trill called. She sat down and waited for Charlie to put in the code.

Trill jumped. "What's wrong?" Thimble asked her. "Nothing..." Trill joked, grinning at her irony. "Wait, Thimble....What day is it?" she asked suddenly. "May 31..." Thimble answered shakily. "Oh. Okay. Thanks," she replied. Thimble walked away. Trill could hardly believe it. Tomorrow was her birthday!
