Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

The CrownAft

The Crown

After countless numbers of Council and Embassy meetings, I prepare myself for the Kyngdom Coucil, where are the leaders and royalty of Kyngdom will be meeting in the East. I brush my fur, although it's not like I have hair like an anthro, and select a black halter gown with gold speckles along the bottom trim. It's simple, yet elegant, and although I'm not a big fan of dresses, I don't mind wearing this one. I then take the Crown. Taking a deep breath, I put it on. Master Nova used magic so that it would take the form of a tiara. It's pretty, and it shows me to be a queen of some sort, but it's also a risk. But it would be hard for any agent of Catastrophe or Catastrophe himself to tell that it was the Crown--after all, all other leaders and royalties will be wearing crowns and tiaras or other distinguishable items.

I take a deep breath and step out of my room, while my guards push past the crowd of people and I head to the large room where the Council is meeting.

(Is it possible that any Pur whoevers or anyone else will be here? That way we could also RP on here. Also, representatives will be here too, so if you guys represent a species or group of people, you are invited to attend.)

Gettting out of the SOUL of Perseverance was a lot harder than I thought, but hey, this is the first time I Fused with someone. It felt weird in a girl's body....

Me and my dirty mind.

It could have been worse though.

But atleast I have my own.

Getting equipped, with a shield, chestplate and my dear ol' Pater I was ready to fight.

Well, just one more thing.

A necklace in the shape of a red paw with the middle being a heart.

I want her to see that I advenged her death.

"Ready gang?"

"Paratus Sum"

But she didn't answer.

After unfusing with Sprocket  (page 4, 10th post) I was able to have my own body back, so I took two Fused items. Pater Lustituae and a red paw locket with a heart as the middle part.

I believe you of all people would know who she is.

Hint: glass jar.

Also my capcha just said "dude"

"Wait!" I call out as Mina leaves the tent. It's too late. She's gone. I didn't even get to thank her. I'm lying on my stomach on a cot, and I try to sit up. I gasp and clutch at my leg as pain rips through my thigh again.

"Whoa, hold up there. We still need to remove the arrows." Quill says. I cringe. She notices, and adds, "We'll numb the thigh first."

She smears a thick white paste around the wound, and also gives me a numbing shot. I barely feel the needle go in, but I squeeze my eyes shut. I have a fear of being poked with sharp objects. "I suggest you look away for this part," Quill mentions as she takes hold of one arrow. I cringe and bury my face in my hands and she pulls it out. I can feel the blood running down my leg, but I'm numbed enough not to feel any pain. Quill pulls out the other two, and immediately presses a piece of gauze into my thigh with some sort of ointment on it.

"Where's the other girl?" I ask. "The one I risked my life to save?"

"Dead." Quill answers. My heart sinks. All that trouble for nothing. Another lost allie. Quill must've noticed the sullen look on my face, because she points out, "We don't know who she was. She could've been on the other side."

If there's a fight, I'll be there. And probably in the centre of it too.

So here I find myself, comrades dying around me. It feels good to finally fight a battle for the Resistance.

I plung my sword into the side of a soldier for the other side and swing around cutting another one in the chest. I then quickly take a couple of throwing knives from my boot and aim before throwing at a wolf being attacked by a solider. I see a big fight between two people far from me. Catastrophe's soldier has our solider down. I look at my knife toss it in my palm and then aim it before throwing it. The knife lands square in the other soldier's back, and our soldier looks at me with gratitude. I nod before sensing a person behind me, and swinging around, I kick their legs from underneath them. Taking my gun from its holster, I aim and fire.

I have the Resistance uniform on. Hopefully no one will recognise me for now.

Hi.

~sunset~

I arrive at the battle with Moonshadow. I suck in a deep breath. Some many dead bodies, lying around me, and more to come I am sure. The battle still rages on. Castophere's agents have ganged up on a restience animal, member? someone from the restience to simply put it.

The restience member is fighting hard, but he is eventaully going to lose. Two against one is a unfair match. "thank you for bringing me here" I say to moonshadow.

He nodds "Be careful" I hear him call as I race off to the restience memebr that is in need of help. To my dismay I arrive their too late. The restience member is not dead, but badly wounded. The soliders keep going at him. He willl be dead soon.

I halt a few feet away. I'm not sure if i could take on two soliders, but I can lurl them away. "Hay you soliders come here"

They both hear, but only one start to go after me. I hold my ground. i can take care of one. I hope. I hope someone helps that restience member. Hopefully he\she dose not die.

The solider is a small lion. Sadly I think that he must of been brainwashed. I make it a goal not to kill him. He could be evil, but most likely he was brainwshed. I swipe at him, he jumps back. He lounges. i dogde, and swipe. I managed to get his cheek, and blood drips from it.

He lounges again. I swipe at his paw. He falls.  He is at my mercy i think as I walk towards him. I hold him to the ground. His face is full of fear. How do i not kill him? but make sure he dosn't kill anyone else? I can'tstand upon this lion all day. I need to keep fightibg Castophere's soliders.

The restience needs to win.

Vanessa~

I fly towards the building as quickly as I can. I've been told to deliver a message, and am pretty sure that this is the correct building. I look down and see-

Oh my Claaws.

Oh my CLAAWS.

The ground below is littered with dead bodies and soaked with blood. I rack my brain for what could be happening. Only one explanation comes up, and suddenly a chill goes down my spine.

Catastrophe.

He must have attacked during the Council.

I unsheath my sword and swoop down, slicing through the crowds of Catastrophe's soldiers. I notice with satisfaction that I inflicted wounds on four or five and sliced a leg off one.  I fly to the medical tent and burst inside.

"WHAT IN KYNGDOM HAPPENED?!?!" I practically shout.

"Catastrophe," says the head nurse.

"I saw that, but... What can I do to help?" I ask.

"Go fight. We have work to do," says she.

I step back outside and see more and more people dropping to the ground. A lot of Catastrophe's brainwashed goons, but our soldiers too.  I see Connie at one end of the battlefield and breathe a sigh of relief, then sprint to her. In one breath, I list off all my thoughts.

"Hey, Connie! I'm so relieved to see you! Are you all right? Is everyone else all right? Are we winning the war? What can I do to help?"

"Whoa, whoa. Calm down," she laughs. "I'm fine and so are most of us. Sprocket is in the emergency tent, but she'll be all right. You can help by, well, fighting. And I'm not really sure if we're winning at this point, but-"

My eyes flicker from Connie's face to behind her, and see a soldier with sword raised coming from directly behind.  In an instant, I see what he's about to do.

"NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE MY FRIEND!" I scream. Gripping my sword as tightly as I can, I lunge forward, and start attacking him. Red-hot anger courses through my veins. I am blinded by it. Furiously, I strike towards him with more force in each blow.

"Whoa...Vanessa...- Wait, what?" Connie turns and seems to understand at once. She immediately gets out of the way of my swinging sword, and goes to fight off some more that were advancing on us. I strike the soldier with more force than I had been before. The soldier drops to the ground.

He's not breathing.

I stand in shock. I've never killed before. But I can't stop fighting now. Three more soldiers are advancing on me, no doubt to avenge the death of their fallen. I spin around like a madwoman, slicing into each soldier. All three drop to their knees, and I can tell that they're badly wounded. That'll do.

"Alright, Vanessa! Let's go kick some more evil butt!" I say to myself, then run off to stop more soldiers.

~

Whew! That was long. Sorry if I controlled you, Connie.

No, don't worry! I love it!

-----------------------------

Connie looked back quickly and saw that Vanessa had struck the soldier with a fatal blow to the chest. She was proud of her new friend, a Winged One who had just joined the Resistance. She turned back around and stabbed hard into the enemy in front of her. Flinging out her Dormiamortem vial, she tipped some onto each dagger. This should take care of them, she thought, and slashed her dagger in a circle, striking five or so opposing soldiers. She tried to block out their terrible screams, knowing that this was for the best of Kyngdom. As she had already learned firsthand, sometimes the most tragic deaths are the ones that lead to better life.

Suddenly, she heard a scream from behind her. She whipped around.

"David!" She shrieked, rushing towards him. He was battling three soldiers at once, outnumbered, and one had just slashed his arm, hard. David was tough, but she wasn't going to stand there and watch him die.

"AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled, leaping over a fallen body and stabbing hard into the back of the man who had just cut David.

"Leave - my - boyfriend - alone!"  She added, out of breath as she drop-kicked the female soldier sneaking up behind them with more strentgh than she knew she had. She grinned and turned to David, her face smudgy with dirt.

"Your... boyfriend?" He asked, cuter than ever, blood trickling down his arm.

"Yeah," Connie said, and then, without thinking, leaned in and kissed him. It was like in those movies, where the whole world becomes blurred and it's just you and that one person; she couldn't hear the sounds of war anymore, feel the sprays of blood. Oh, wow. It was ironic that in possibly one of the scariest times of her life, she'd found the one thing that made her feel safest. After what felt like hours but was probably only seconds, she pulled away, smiling.

"Mmm." She said, and he grinned, hugging her tightly. Suddenly he winced in pain. She looked once again at his arm, suddenly waking from her trance at the sight of the congealing blood.

"Oh, god, David! I didn't notice, that cut is awful -- we have to get you to the hospital tent!" She grabbed his hand and helped him to the tent, yanking out her bow and shooting arrows into anyone who tried to come at them. She saw his eyes fluttering and he started to shake; he was losing blood, fast.

"Go!" He said to Connie. "They need you out there! Get the relic, be the saviour! Go on!" He waved away her protests.

"Pleade, Connie?" She grimaced at the thought of leaving him behind, but didn't want to miss the fight. She had a duty to do, after all.

"Okay, David. But.."

"Yes?"

"I... just, be safe." And with that she sped out of the tent, stabbing an enemy soldier who had somehow gotten behind the tent.

I pull the trigger and a bullet rips through the enemy's side. I see many people freaking out, and I'm thinking,

Gee, if you don't like blood, HELLO WELCOME TO THE RESISTANCE WHY'D Y'ALL SIGN UP?

I shake my head abruptly, realising that I'm starting to act a bit weird myself and shoot another soldier, throwing my knife into her comrade's back.

Suddenly a wolf lunges on top of me, and holds his teeth to my throat. I jab my knife that was on my leg sheath into the wolf's stomach, and he yelps as I bend my knees and quickly lunge his weight back so he lands with another yelp.

I smoothly get up, brushing off his grey fur and some of the blood before connecting to another soldier through the com link.

"Jensen, has max backup been sent?" I ask.

"Yes sir," she replies. "Including your own backup squadron sir."

I sigh and switch the link off, feeling a presence to the side of me and quickly pulling my gun out, shooting them off.

I need to go on holiday.
