Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

When I joined, I read all through the active RP threads on the Kyngdom RP board, read the About Kyngdom page, and then started posting.

I was wondering if anyone has character ideas? Like, a character that I should make? Because I'm pretty much caught up on the backstory, but I was wondering if there's a character that needs to be made. If that makes any sense. Thanks for any advice.

Hmm, I don't think we particularly need anything. However, we do seem to have a lack of charries on Catastrophe's side, so maybe you could make one of them if you want. ((PS, Charrie is short for character))

Could we make Kyngdom a bit... Bigger? I don't know what the word for it would be, but I think it would be great if Kyngdom was a bit more exciting and welcoming. I mean, there isn't much that is very intriguing about the face of Kyngdom if you don't know how to navigate it, and even when you do, it's a bit disappointing. I mean, come on. The RP board has five threads on the front. We can do better than that. Currently, we have three or four people who check this place on a semi-regular basis. What happened to the Live Chats, the new posts every few hours, the bunches of Kyngdomfellows swarming on the RPs, what happened to them? On, say, Inkwell, there's AT VERY LEAST thirty regular CBers. Thats about ten times what few Kyngdom has. Is there any way we can attract people to Kyngdom and keep it alive?

So, ideas! Night, I know you're one of the most frequent posters on Kyngdom right now, so you and I might be the ones to make Kyngdom look and feel more active.
Here are my ideas.
1. Reboot the face of Kyngdom!
When people come on and see 'one year ago by Solomon' they probably frown and leave. I think we could start posting on the main face more often.
Thread by thread, here's what we could do.
~For the Q and A thread, restart that q and a team we had a long time ago. Make a post telling new CBers welcome and inviting them to ask questions. Maybe start an FAQ. CBers can sign up to be question answerers to give them an incentive to check Kyngdom!
~For the live chat, well, it is a chat thread. What if that became our planning thread, and a general 'how are you doing' thread? Kyngdom does lack a personal get-to-know-you aspect right now. Maybe a compliment game or a Kyngdom ACG or other random games.
~For the note from editors...I don't know if we'd want to start posting there again or not.We could post under "START HERE NEWBIES" and bring new people up to speed on how Kyngdom works and what's going on.
~Hornshaw travel diaries: start a roleplay?
~The Tale: two kyngdoms thread was featuring the inside of Catastrophe's base. Perhaps this could be the new Catastrophe RP for Catastrophe's people.
~The A Travel Guide thread was mostly in Jokull. This one's pretty long. I think it has potential to become a Decoy Forest RP.
~"Fourth Map Fragment" -- Any ideas? A new mapmaking thread? We could put a link to the Mapmakers' society there.
~The Story So Far thread is like a lump we can't do anything about. It's outdated, and we can't update it.
~Who's here doesn't need to change.
~Neither does the Art Thread.
~Myths and Legends. Well...Kyngdom has enough history now that not only can we continue to write new legends, but tell stories about what's happened in the past of Kyngdom's plot. Like little zoomed-in pieces of summaries--info on characters, funny events, etc.
~I love the Bog and Burrow. If we can bring FaFA back, this will come to life along with it! What if we did a singer feature once a week? Just for filler RP??
~Mission at BIG. This could be the revival of the BIG RP! Lycaella's father has brought BIG back. This could be the place to write that.
~Power Origin Ideas could become Power Origin Stories...so people don't have to read through that whole thing to know about the Powers.
~Now for the Kyngdom Groups section. I might make filler characters to tend to those...Like, ones that don't really Rp but post as themselves, to answer questions and interact with other filler characters to bring a little life to each thread. Certain groups like the Classrooms and Army of Rebels (which aren't relavent anymore) I plan to leave alone.
2. Video
I've been working on a Kyngdom GIF (it's more of a video, though) that can be posted to the CB. It teaches Kyngdom's history, plot, storyline, and how to join. It won't be done for a while though.
3. Filler Charries
Surrogate charries! They don't require charrie sheets or anything! They're easy to post as, and bring a little activity to the outer reaches of Kyngdom's threads!
Those are just three ideas. I also like the Is It Invisible thread. If we could post another one teaching people about Kyngdom and how it works to make it less confusing when they pop on to visit, they might be more inclined to join.

@Hazel C. I like your plan, and I have a proposal. Whould it work if the Story So Far (Main Page) was switched out with the one on the Power of Claw? On that one we can post.
@Everyone I think we should make things like Hazel is, with the gif. Maybe we could collaborate and make some sort of legit video! *Muses about the endless possibilities* Sorry, I got a bit carried away there.
I think this plan could work! WAIT
@Admins do you think that you could somehow incorporate Kyngdom into the mainstream sections like Inkwell, DtE, P'sP, etc. ? I believe that if we made the RP board more exciting (aka bigger and more mainstream) and made it one of the primary things you see on the face of Kyngdom (instead of say an afterthought) then more people wouldn't leave under the impression that there is nothing to do here.
Thoughts?

Oh, a video! I've made a Kyngdom video before, but it's on YouTube and isn't very good. I would love to make another!
@EG - Since you've got a Resistance charrie & good experience with the Resistance, you could help revive it (if you want)! Your HQ is still on the Groups section, and I would RP with you!
