Drawing!

Well, lately I've been sort of fine-tuning my drawings... this is sort of a copy of Coral's Drawing Thread, where we posted some of our drawings. So, behold a page of my doodles... (please let this show up please let this show up!)

myahh. It's so tiny -annoyed glare at picture-

Really not my best work on the coloring... mrr. But anyhoo! A cowgirl who may or may not be historically accurate in any way!

Is pretty! I like the ruffles on the shirt and the lacing on the corset in particular. (...but no, not historically accurate at all... have you ever tried riding a horse without pants, in a western saddle in particular? It's a great way to take the skin off the insides of your knees :D and boots without socks or leggings underneath chafe like you wouldn't believe, too, for that matter)

Also, assuming you use GIMP's bucket tool to add color, if you raise the threshold number (by quite a significant amount, usually) you'll get less of that pixelly white junk around your outlines. (If you don't... then I don't know. I only use the GIMP really...). Of course it will also bleed over a lot more easily, so.

Yeah, I realize that now. Thanks for the input!

I use pixlr, it's a lot more accessible, and I actually do raise the threshold, but it all bleeds over if I'm not careful. The boots, in particular, were the worst because my pen was running out of ink and there's only so much you can do with the levels before the rest starts to look bad, so I just paint-bucketed it and tried to get all the little splotches with the brush.

Has anyone read the Genius Triology by Catherine Jinks? I did a little fanfic drawing (or whatever you may call it) of the front cover. I am TRYING desperatly to get it on here but it isn't working! Still not working! I'm trying everything I can think of! Copying and Pasting, puting it in place of the emotes, nothing!

Is there some magic trick? We CAN dance, but we can't get pictues that we drew in science on this website! (Sorry, I'm listening to THE SAFETY DANCE by Men Without Hats. I'm kind of obsessed with that song) Argh! If there IS a magic trick, could someone tell me?

By the time I find out I'll probably have drawn a better one.Sealed

You have to upload it to a website like dA or flickr before you c/p it into the text place where you type words. I usually put them on Pinterest, but the trouble with that is that it blanks out after a while and I have to repost or something. So I grudgingly got a flickr account and now I use that.

From what I hear you have to copy and paste it from photobucket, or another image website.

And I WAS right. I've already drawn a better one (though it's not on my computer.

Well, it didn't exactly fit in the space, so I saved it to my iPad so I could see the whole thing (I'll delete it later).  It looks great!

Thanks, but I keep trying to draw it better.

You're right. It really didn't fit into that space.

Aw he's cute. Physics lab, then? Possibly one about burning food to see how much energy is in it? We do those all the time and they're kind of boring. So I start drawing hipster Azulas in the margins.

A hipster Azula?? I must see this.

Okay, let me get my new one on the computer.

It should be noted that this picture was the one I drew scanned off of my computer so I could color the backround in black with a ginormus sharpie marker.

Arrgh, it still does not fit into the space right.

By now, I'm thing whatever.

Sorry Cadel.cadel2

Yeah. You can't see his other arm, which I spent a lot more time than what it's worth on, and so yeah.

Just right-click and choose 'View Image', you'll be good.

On another note, I was re-reading Pandora Hearts today and I kind of fell over going "Oh my gosh Break, I forgot how awesome you are", so I kind of drew him in Physics (where we didn't do anything anyway, so it was totally fine). And yes, those are notes on electric current at the top. Pay them no heed. Sorry the image quality's kinda bad.
