It's been a while since I've seen a running roleplay on here. Most of the ones I've seen have just died within 30 posts (most not all). So my goal is to keep a RP running for at least over 30 posts, and hopefully until it ends.
My idea for the RP is a murder mystery RP, no gory stuff. I think NAME did something like this a while ago. I remember it being really good.
So anyway I don't know about the setting or anything, I just got the theme down, so any ideas?

Heh heh. I happen to be a fabulous murder mystery writer. Setting ideas: a ski lodge, a boat, a deserted island. Locked door mysteries are the best ones. The story is we all go off to one locked door place and on day 3 something happens that traps us in the mystery place. And on day 4, the first person dies. One person dies a day. I would really like to be the one "in charge" meaning I can pick the murderer and decide who dies. It will just be luck, because I can just pull names out of a Sugarbowl. Please? I can make this really funny, I've done it before.

Sounds awesome, sure you could pick who dies and all that with the permision of whoever controls the person who dies, but I don't really understand the whole 'locked door' concept. Like I get that we go somewhere and get trapped but that's about it. Could you explain that?

Could I join? I remember NAME's RP. One of the character's was mine but I forget which. It's sad that it was never finished. Maybe this one will actually have an ending.

Yay! This will be fun! A locked door mystery is one where no one comes in and no one leaves, therefore the murderer is one of us. Of course, for comic relief, all sorts of minor characters will wander in and out. I can make this super funny, I wrote a murder mystery about my friends last year and it was great. I have a question for the general public: Do you want to
a) have me tell you you died today and you pick a a way to die and I write it?
b) have me tell you you died today and you pick a way to die and write it?
c) have me tell you you died today and how you died and you write it?
d) or have me writeing your lovely endings to your lovely lives every day so all you have to do is log onto your computer and laugh your head off?
Question for the Admins: Would any of the Admins like to join in this lovely game?

No way am I staying out of this. I'm in. Plus, I have experience with Sakura's murder mysteries (heck, I even illustrated it and made a comic that was almost funnier then the original). So perhaps I can help you stay alive.

a) a ski lodge?
b) a boat cruise thingy?
c) a boat cruise thingy and end up on a deserted island?
d) or some other place?
I would prefer a locked door mystery as they are more fun, but if not, then so be it.

Yes, habit is forcing me to write Holmes again. So prepare to be confusled.
I prefer Sakura telling us that we die and how and then we write about it. The locked door mystery sounds like a good choice. Maybe in a warehouse full of stuffed animals. What? Maybe not the stuffed animals, but something hilarious along those lines. A warehouse full of toilet paper! Maybe not.
