It's been a while since I've seen a running roleplay on here. Most of the ones I've seen have just died within 30 posts (most not all). So my goal is to keep a RP running for at least over 30 posts, and hopefully until it ends.
My idea for the RP is a murder mystery RP, no gory stuff. I think NAME did something like this a while ago. I remember it being really good.
So anyway I don't know about the setting or anything, I just got the theme down, so any ideas?

May I join? This sounds awesome, although I've never written a murder mystery before. I watch them a lot, though. I like the idea of a ski lodge and the locked door mystery thingy... *lightbulb* Could the people in the RP be on a class ski trip? Maybe they can all be divided into froups by how good they can ski...? Anyway, I was thinking the so-called Professionals ride really high up with a gondola (sp.?) and as they're sking down they notice that their instructor is gone so they all stop and look around and see him/her no where (or they see blood and find the body). Suddenly someone sees a ski lodge, they go in and *drumroll* they're trapped! (This is just an idea...)

So has it been decided? We're going to a ski lodge? I think we should start on October 1, so if anyone else wants to join, there is time for that. This will be fun. Just remember, people, you should always bring plenty of cnax (snacks) on a skiing trip.

I think we should do this in the style of some charrie lounges, where we are ourselves. This would be very funny.

Yeah, I thought we would just use ourselves so we could use various jokes on the Chatterbox during the whole thing. But if you really want to make up characters, that's okay too.
I hope you don't mind that it's going to be really silly. I mean really, really silly.
Today I brought the Sugarbowl to school to work on your deaths during lunch (meaning I was going to come up with plausible deaths for you guys and not so plausible deaths for you guys). Well, I didn't actually get around to it, but I was rather shocked at how well the Sugarbowl was recognised. At lunch, I was discussing (to the people I wrote about last time) how you guys were going to the same ski lodge they went to. The conversation went somewhat like this:
Me: So one person wanted a toliet paper warehouse-
Friend: Yeah!
Me: But you can't stay in a toliet paper warehouse for 10+ days! What would you eat?
Friend: Toliet paper!
Me: No. One person wanted a cruise, but almost everyone wanted a ski lodge, so they're going to the same one as you went to.
Freind: You can show them all the sights. That's the avalanche sight, that's the cable car that exploded, that's where the party with the poisoned flaming cheetos was, that's the room ------ was stabbed in, that's the cliff ---- got pushed off, that's the ski lift I got pushed off, that's the room where ----- got his head cut off, that's the refrigerator where-
Me: Yes, I get it. We don't need to go into every location where someone died.
The captcha says pwve. Do any of the other two admins wish to come along on this magical skiing adventure? You wouldn't think of letting all of the Chatterbox's fine young children and not so fine young children (coughcoughRedcoughcough) go all alone into the dangerous perils of the ski lodge, would you? It is your job as admins to make sure we are all safe from the hulking evils of the Internet, mysterious ski lodges, and my imagination. It would be so uncareful of you to let all your young charges go off together and die.
Your invitation is tempting, Sakura, but since they haven't replied yet, I'd say they are too busy, too. However, I love skiing and mountain vacations, so I may insert a comment from time to time. Tschuss!

I definitely want to do the whole we're-the-ones-who-are-stuck thingy. I'm warning you though, in things like this on the internet, I get really obnoxious. I'm pretty sure some of the older CBers got really annoyed at me by the end of the last one of those.
May I suggest death by lightsaber for someone?
