Online Add-on

Hey, everybody! You may remember a game called "Add-on" that the characters play in the book Big Nate Strikes Again by Lincoln Peirce. Well, we can play it over the Internet! The rules are like this:

We all suggest features for a character: "a pegleg, wonky eyes, three noses", to name a few. Then we must all draw our own pictures with a character featuring those features. On a given date, we all stop suggesting features and post our pictures here, so we can comment on them!

If some people want to just suggest a feature but not draw a picture, or vice versa, you can do that too.

We'll all stop suggesting feautures by March 27.

If you want to participate but do not know how to submit an image with a post of yours, here's how:

1. Post your image (s) on another website. I like to put text before and after the desired material to make the next step easier.

2. Highlight the image (s) with your mouse, and hit "Ctrl" and "C" at the same time. (If you're a Mac user, use "Command + C" instead. This is copying it.

3. Go back to your post, and while typing, hit "Ctrl + V" or "Command + V". It will become part of your post just like the text you type. If you put in text to "bracket" them like I do, then remove that text unless you want it there.

4. Add any additional text you want to put with your image into the post, and submit it! Ta-da!

If you do not understand any of these steps, then just ask me for help. Admins, feel free to refer this to anyone who asks about how to post images in future.

So let's play Add-on! I'll start the suggesting features with a cowboy hat! Great. If you want to play this game, go grab a nice big sheet of paper, draw a cowboy hat, and add other features as people suggest them. I'll do it myself later.

Because as soon as you look at the top of this thread, your picture will magically appear on the screen! (I wish it were that easy.)
