So, the last

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

So, the last

So, the last one of these died! So this is a Kingdom Keepers RP! And a KKs page in general.

Name: Sabrina Tiller

Age: 14

Appearance: Very shortly cropped blonde hair about near her mouth. She keeps a braid in on the left of her face. Dark blue eyes, pale pink lips, light freckles, pale skin. Wears a pink shirt, denim vest with a white hood, knee length brown cargo skirt, black lace up boots, purple fingerless gloves.

Personality: She's an orphan. Quiet, observant, stays off on the sidelines, loyal, ready to fight, smart, warm, friendly when you get past her guard.

So who else would like to join?!

Name: Katarina "Lucky" Hutcherson

Age: 15

Appearance: Chin-length black hair with purple streaks, blue eyes, really tall, always wears Converse high tops

Personality: She's really nice to adults, but she's cold towards kids.  Really distant.  Surprisingly a really good actor.

Other: She got her nickname because she is super unlucky.  Her house burnt down when she was little with her parents inside it.  Then she went to go live with her grandparents, and their house burnt down after a couple of years.  Now, she just lives in a small apartment with her grandparents.  This is the first time since she was seven that she isn't in some sort of cast.

@ Melody: I'll just wait awhile to see if anyone else joins. If not, we'll go ahead and start.

Also, did you know they have an actual Kingdom Keepers quest at Disney?! (if you have, like, 2k dollars to do it, since it costs like 300 dollars per kid). But still, it sounds SO COOL!!!! If I won the lottery, that's totally what I would do!

Cappie says that. Yes Cappies, that is cool.

@BHR

I found a video online about it a while back.  I want to try to convince my band director to let us perform in Disney World and then do it after.  It's never gonna happen (especially because of the price), but I really want to do it!

Ditto!!!! But I don't know anyone that would really want to do that. And the price could bowl over a moose. So sad...

But I'm determined! Maybe I'll pretend to be 18, and get a lottery ticket. I WANT TO GO!!! Plus, I've heard they're making (though I'm not sure it's true) a movie called Magic Kingdom, where a family get's trapped in Disney World and fights Disney Villains or something like that. But no word on an actual KK movie. Sad...

Waiting just a bit longer.

The movie sounds really cool.  It looks like Pixar will be involved, but it will not be a Pixar movie.  There's also supposed to be a movie called Tomorrowland, but I don't think it's going to be about the park.  I think it's a sci-fi movie from Disney.

Skrillex in Tomorrowland was a dubstep concert by(duh) Skrillex. It was in Germany I think. ooooooo sci-fi I like sci-fi. If you didn't read the previous sentence in kind of a little kid voice go back and do that now.

So, I guess we'll go ahead and started.

Sabrina ~

I stood leaning against a stainless steel pole, watching the world whizz by. Children squealed and giggled in anticipation of entering Disney World, many for the first time. Finally, the tram slowed then came to stop, the doors sliding open. I quickly stepped of ahead of the hoardes of people heading into the Magic Kingdom. I allowed anxious families to go ahead. I was early anyway. I waved my identification pass to the Security, the passed into the park. I turned right, toward a tall white building, and passed beneath a Cast Members Only sign. I found myself in a large dark room, with people hurring everywhere, setting lights, fixing cameras, and moving props.

"Sabrina Tiller?" A young man, maybe in his early twenties, asks me.

"Yes," I answer, shaking his hand.

"Great, great," he says hurridly. "Your the first one here, so just try and stay out of the way till we're ready." I nodd, and settle back against the wall, to watch the seemingly chaotic goings on.

Lucky~

The scowl on my face as I lean up against a building in Disney World is a contrast to the smile on the faces of the little kids around me.  I must be the only one who doesn't want to be here.  This place brings back memories from the last time I came, which was with my parents.  The scowl is serving as a shield to hold back the tears I'm certain want to come out.  My grandmother runs back to me with two smiling Mickey-faced souvenir cups.  We don't have the money to come here, so she's loving the free admission this is bringing us.

"Here you go, honey," she says, handing me a cup. "Knock 'em dead."

I force a smile so she thinks I actually want to do this.  In reality, I'm only doing this because Nana and Grampa are slowly running out of insurance money from the houses.  I kiss her goodbye, then she runs away to find Grampa.  The two of them are just soaking up the rejuvenating air of the park.  They'e almost acting younger than I am at this point.

"Katarina Hutcherson?" a man with a clipboard asks when I walk up to the door labelled 'Cast Members Only'.

"Yes, sir," I say, slippng the energetic smile back on like a mask.

"You're late," he grimaces.

"I'm sorry, I just got caught up in how magical everything is."  I give him a face I hope will garner me some sympathy.

He melts like a popsicle, just like I was hoping.  In reality, I told my Nana this was later than it was because I wanted to put it off.  "No problem," he says. "Follow me."  As I follow, my face falls again.  If all 'goes well', I will be a hologram giving tours in the Magic Kingdom and possibly the other theme parks.  That's absolutely the last thing on Earth I want to be.

Sabrina ~

I lounged, watching the employees scurry around like ants. I was a little interested in the process that would make me a hologram. Though, I wasn't overly pleased about the arrangement. Of course, Mrs. Huddment and the girls at the home were estatic. They got free passes into all the parks, and Mrs. Huddment was overjoyed at the money it brought in. But I still wasn't sure how I felt at the idea of "instant stardom."

Suddenly, the door opened, and a girl my age walked in. The same guy who had "welcomed" me rushed over, jotting down her name on the clipboard. I recognized the girl. I didn't know her personally, but I'd seen her in school.

"Excellent!" he said beaming, walking over toward me. "Great. Sabrina, this Katarina."

"Call me Lucky," the girl put in quickly.

"Katarina, this is Sabrina," he said, completely ignoring Lucky's comment. "Since this is just starting out, we're starting out with just two models. Now, off to makeup and wardrobe."

At that moment, two women walked in, each taking charge of one of us. They led us through a series of halls, then into two back rooms. My stylist, named Lissy, seated me in front of a well-lit vanity, and started staring intently at me in the mirror, fiddling with my hair. Finally, she brushed out my hair, then, taking a curling iron, making my hair twist into bouncing spirals, adding a few silver streaks. She added a little bit of dark eye liner, making my eyes stand out, and just enough makeup to keep me from glowing before I was even a DHI. She then led me over to wardrobe. She handed me a pair of jeans with sequins on them, a bright, green, blouse with tinkerbell on it, and a pair of black combat boots.

"There!" she said brightly. "You're ready for the shoot. All you have to do is wait for your co-star!"

So, I'm leaving this open in case anyone else wants to join. Since it's just us two though Melody, I figured we'd just leave it like that for now.
