Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

So, the last

So, the last one of these died! So this is a Kingdom Keepers RP! And a KKs page in general.

Name: Sabrina Tiller

Age: 14

Appearance: Very shortly cropped blonde hair about near her mouth. She keeps a braid in on the left of her face. Dark blue eyes, pale pink lips, light freckles, pale skin. Wears a pink shirt, denim vest with a white hood, knee length brown cargo skirt, black lace up boots, purple fingerless gloves.

Personality: She's an orphan. Quiet, observant, stays off on the sidelines, loyal, ready to fight, smart, warm, friendly when you get past her guard.

So who else would like to join?!

Haha! I just got a few minutes on here! Also, I have no idea about the layout either! So, I ever mistake the layout of anything, that just means I don't really know about it.

Sabrina ~

I jarred awake on the top bunk, nearly falling out entirely. I was breathing hard, and feeling slightly nasaus. Everything that just happened, Jack Sparrow, Wayne, the brick flying through the window.  I sighed. I readily believed all of it. I was sick from fear already. I saw the newscast the next morning, and just about threw up my breakfast. I bolted out the door before the other girls so I could sort out my thoughts. I sat on the curb, waiting for the bus. I was eager to talk to Lucky. I wondered if that cut Lucky had recieved the previous night. Likely she did. If you were still half solid, she did.

"What're you doin here?" A husky voice said behind me. Inwardly groaning, I looked behind me. Avril Learner stood behind me. A large girl with pigish features, stringy light brown hair, and black eyes. She typically dressed in shredded jeans, some band t-shirt, and stiletto heels. Plus she was twice the height of any other ninth grader. Yet that never kept her from picking a fight.

"Sitting," I replied curtly. And her size never kept me from fighting back.

"Sit. Somewhere. Else," she said menacingly.

"Avril, try doing something useful for once, like putting a paper bag over your head," I said, fed up. Thankfully the other girls came running as the bus pulled up.

"You're dead," Avril hissed at me.

"Just try," I whispered back, climbing on, heading to the back of the bus.

---

"Lunch," I said to Lucky, ducking behind her locker door as Avril passed by. "And don't let Avril see you with me or we're both in trouble." And I ran off down the hall as bell rang.

Lucky~

I sit down next to Sabrina at lunch, knocking down the cubicle of books she had created for herself.  She scrambles to set it back up.  "First off, Avril can't see us," she whispers from behind a chemistry book, "Second off, people will think we're weird if they see what we're reading."

I rip off a piece of naan and place it in my mouth.  "What are we reading?"  She shushes me.

"Whisper."  She's definitely watched too many spy movies.  "Come around to the other side of the books."

I pick up my tray of curry and go around to the other side of the table.  Laid out in front of Sabrina are a ton of Disney books and articles printed off the Internet.  "I got as many Disney history books as I could find in the library," she explains, "and we're right near Disney, so that's a lot.  I even went to Celebration."

"You're sure this is real, too?"

"Well, with what Wayne said and the brick and Jack Sparrow, yeah."  She grabs my naan and starts eating it.

We spend the whole lunch reading Disney stuff and sharing my Indian food (Sabrina lost her free lunch card for this week).

"I'm just going to go throw this stuff away," I said, picking up my food tray.  She just waved me off, deep into Rolly Crump's autobiography.  As I walked, I tried to make sense of all that was happening.  I was so absorbed in my thoughts, I didn't notice when I walked into someone.  I quickly picked the lunch tray back up.  "I'm so sorry!" I said.

"What, just because you're a Disney celebrity now, you think you can just walk into people?!" the other person shouted.  I looked up, straight into the eyes of Avril.  My streak of bad luck was back.

Sabrina ~

I'd spent until closing time the previous evening at the library, and again before school. Mrs. Huddment didn't allow us to use the computer for "frivolities" as she put it. If it was needed for school, we had a one hour "pass" for the computer, but we had to get notes from the teacher to permit it. Which meant most of us girls were now quite skilled at forgery. I could just imagine us becoming a criminal opperation of female teenage forgers. Lucky and I sat together at lunch. I was still trying to avoid Avril, though, we didn't even make a deep headway.

"I'm going to throw this away," Lucky said, lifting up the tray of food she'd been kind enough to share. I'm not even going to go into how I lost my "free lunch card". I waved her off, totally immersed. My head shot up as someone started shouting, their voice I knew all too well. I glanced over. Avril was towering over Lucky, evidently angry over something.

"What,  just because you're a Disney celebrity now, you think you can just walk into people?!" Avril shouted.

"No, of course not. It was an accident anyone could make," Lucky replied. Avril shoved her backward into the wall. I jumped to my feet, forgetting everything. This was when my fighting instinct always kicked in.

"Knock it off!" I shouted to Avril. By now we had the attention of several other students, none of which decided to help us out, of course. Avril looked at me, and rolled her eyes.

"Goody, the two musketeers! What are you going to do about it, Orphan Annie?" I winced. I never denied I was an orphan, but I didn't volunteer the information either. I stepped over beside Lucky, drawing myself up to full height, which frankly, wasn't tall. But as the girls back at the orphanage always said, "What I lacked in height, I made up for in spunk and attitude."

"Lay off," Lucky said, gripping my hand. But before Avril could say anything, Principal Manderly strode up.

"What's going on here?" she demanded. I could tell she had already assessed the situation, since this wasn't the first time Avril had caused problems.

"A misunderstanding, ma'am," Avril replied sullenly. Lucky and I nodded.

"All right, but enough. Time to get back to classes," Mrs. Manderly said, striding off. Avril gave us an evil look, then slunked off.

"Well, now we both are on Avril's bad side," Lucky said.

"Welcome to the club," I answered with a half smile. I don't know why, but this set us both off cracking up. For probably the first time, I felt I had a real friend. We continued lauging as we walked back to our table, and gathered up our things.

"Do you think we'll cross over again?" I whispered as we walked toward the doors.

"Possibly," Lucky replied. "But to be safe, try to be asleep by nine." I nodded, and headed off to class.
