Would You Rather...

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Would You Rather...

Would You Rather...

Just for fun (and to keep Puddings Place a little more lively) I thought I'd create a Would You Rather game. I'll update the questions every now and again. I also numbered it for easy answering.

First Set--

1. Would you rather...have to defeat Sauron or Voldemort?

2. Would you rather...meet someone from the future or someone from the past?

3. Would you rather...live in Percy Jackson's god-riddled world or Harry Potter's Hogwarts?

4. Would you rather...be a figure from Greek/Roman mythology or Norse mythology?

5. Would you rather...read only one book a year or eat only one thing a year?

6. Would you rather...meet your favorite book character or meet your favorite celebrity?

7. Would you rather...have a star named after you or walk on the moon?

8. Would you rather...find a magic lamp with a Genie to cast wishes or a magic Ring?

9. Would you rather...go back in time to the sinking of the Titanic or to the Civil War?

10. If you had the power, would you rather...go and save your best friend who is imprisioned and in danger of dying or help win the battle that would save your kingdom (assuming you couldn't do both.)

My answers:

1. Defeat Sauron. Heck, then I'd be in Middle Earth!

2. Someone from the past. I feel it would be cooler.

3. In Hogwarts. Hands down.

4. It's a draw. If I had to pick a person, it would be either Helen of Troy or Brynhild the Valkyrie, though.

5. Read only one book--assuming it was very, very long!

6. Well, *snickersnicker,* it would be either Aragorn or Tom Hiddleston--and I somehow would go with Aragorn. Hiddles will be around for many years, in many interviews and movies, but there are no more tales of Middle Earth.

7. Walk on the moon. I always thought it would be cool to go to space.

8. A magic Ring. Because, again, I'd be in Middle Earth.

9. Back to the Titanic--duh.

10. I would save my best friend. Kingdoms come and go, but friendship means so much more.

Enjoy!

1. Would you rather...have a movie made out of your book (assuming it was decent like Harry Potter) or act in a different movie yourself?

Hmm, I would probably want a movie made of my book, unless the character I got to play was one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite books.

2. Would you rather...be moored on a deserted island for a year and have to find your food and water or be locked in a tower and have that delivered to you?

What is this tower furnished with? Does it have plenty of books and other activitys? Does it have windows? If it had those things then the tower.

3. Would you rather...achieve grand feats worthy of praise or write the songs of praise about those feats?

Achieve great feats.

4. Would you rather...have a winged horse for transportation or a dragon?

A dragon, as long as it was nice.

5. Would you rather...have Bellatrix Lestrange over for lunch or Saruman?

Bellatrix. She wouldn't kill me as long as I pretended to be on her side.

1. Would you rather...have to defeat Sauron or Voldemort?

I haven't gotten to the point with Sauron, so Voldemort.

2. Would you rather...meet someone from the future or someone from the past?

Past.  I'm just not a big future-istic person... I also think modern technology should have stopped at the desktop computer and the Internet.

3. Would you rather...live in Percy Jackson's god-riddled world or Harry Potter's Hogwarts?

Hogwarts.  I just don't like Percy Jackson enough...

4. Would you rather...be a figure from Greek/Roman mythology or Norse mythology?

Norse.  Cold weather any day.

5. Would you rather...read only one book a year or eat only one thing a year?

This should be obvious, but eat only one thing repetitively.

6. Would you rather...meet your favorite book character or meet your favorite celebrity?

BOOK CHARACTER.  The hard part would be deciding who that is...

7. Would you rather...have a star named after you or walk on the moon?

Walk on the moon.  I don't really care about fame... And it would be great research for a novel!

8. Would you rather...find a magic lamp with a Genie to cast wishes or a magic Ring?

My name is Gollum.  But I don't like getting magical wishes granted, so neither.

9. Would you rather...go back in time to the sinking of the Titanic or to the Civil War?

Like Melody said, Titanic era clothes are awesome.  I do like violence better, though... indecisive.

10. If you had the power, would you rather...go and save your best
friend who is imprisioned and in danger of dying or help win the battle
that would save your kingdom (assuming you couldn't do both.)

Best friend.  I don't care about this arbitrarily created hypothetical kingdom!

1. Would you rather...have a movie made out of your book (assuming it
was decent like Harry Potter) or act in a different movie yourself?

Different movie myself.  I like to act.  A lot.

2. Would you rather...be moored on a deserted island for a year and have
to find your food and water or be locked in a tower and have that
delivered to you?

Does this tower have books?  But probably the tower, yeah.

3. Would you rather...achieve grand feats worthy of praise or write the songs of praise about those feats?

Write songs.  This would assume I can write songs....

4. Would you rather...have a winged horse for transportation or a dragon?

DRAGON!

5. Would you rather...have Bellatrix Lestrange over for lunch or Saruman?

I don't know who Saruman is... so Bellatrix.

@ Gollum:

If your name is Gollum, how can you not know who Saruman is?? Didn't you read LOTR?

I haven't read all of LotR, only the first two books.  It was a while ago, and I didn't particularly pay that much attention...

*ducks the flying shoes*

I really like The Hobbit, though.

@ Hufflepuff Forever:

OMG YOU LIKE TOM HIDDLESTON????? Sorry to shout, but I absolutely LOVE him, and my only hangup with the CB is that so far no one else fangirls over him like I (sadly) do. But now here's you.

I think I just fainted.

Have you seen The Hollow Crown? I want to see it sooooo badly, but my parents won't let me, because they worry it might be too violent/innapropriate. But I also really want to see the filmed version of Coriolanus, because he sword-fights.

And I love love love his perfomance as Loki. I mean, seriously, he is the most awesome villain ever. Because even while he's so evil, he shows the vulnerability of his unloved past. He so needs to win an Oscar. For anything.

1. Voldemort of course (since I don't know who Sauron is)!

2.  Past for sure! There is so many people I would want to meet!

3. Hm.. I like both worlds, but Percy Jackson might be the best choice... or would Harry Potter be better? I wonder...

4. Greek/Roman mythology since I don't know what Norse mythology is, and I know quite a lot about Greek mythology (not much on roman mythology though).

5. This depends if you mean 1 type of food, or just like one meal, if it is one type of food, then I would go with that, since I CANNOT do without my books!

6. book character since I don't have any favorite celebrity

7.  The moon, since I see that much more cooler than having a star named after me (yet that would be cool to), but I don't like the No-Gravity thing, it might make me sick...

8. Magic Lamp IF the Genie was not very tricky.

9. Titanic most likely but if I was to be brought TO the moment as it sinks.. I would be soooo sad (same with the Civil War)

10. Save my friend unless there was a way to do both (Percy did in the Percy Jackson series)

Also, I answered the first set (I have not looked to see if there are any other ones yet).
