I argued about whether or not I should put this in Inkwell or Pudding's Place but I decided on here. Anyhow, I want to talk about NaNo covers and maybe do some... There are a lot of people out there who are much better at designing book covers, but I though it would be fun to do some, especially on the CB. I don't know if I'll personally get to it, but it would be fun to try. And if other people wanted to make covers for other people they could and it would just be one big pile of lala-ness or something.
The idea is that someone could make a cover for one of your novels. It's kind of like the character drawing thread, except with novels from NaNo. You can submit the one you're doing this year or one you did in previous years. You can also suggest what the artist might draw for the cover, a sort of general idea.
This'll be fun!

I did it! Admin, is there a way that I can enlarge it? If I post it temporarily as my Nano profile pic, I can copy it. Unfortuanitly, its tiny.

Hey people! I have a job for you! Here is my book title, my pen name, etc. etc.
Title: Four and Twenty Pigeons
My Pen Name: Lilliana Pirce
Characters that might work for the cover: sixeen year old girl with rust colored hair (Anna), some pigeons, (definitely not all twenty four) and possibly the girl's twin brother who has rust colored hair also, and it is medium length. (The brother should be in the backround if you include him.)

Hey, I'm open for doing book covers now that I know how imgur works :D Though I need an idea for what font you guys want, and possibly pictures for reference would help! And background color too. Sorry, I just need specifics!

How well can you draw 2 girls, back to back, arm's crossed, angry, one with wavy brown hair that's down, one with brown hair in one braid? Also, a grandma? How about a boy with light brown hair that's a little long, pierced ears, a black shirt, and a vest with neon green stripes? Flip flops? Fancy lemonade? And the title is A Summer Mistake. Thanks, Moss! The girls are in the middle of the cover, the boy is smaller on the left of the name, the grandma can be where ever, as well as the lemonade and flip-flops. If you don't have it like that and you've been working for countless hours, it's fine. A long as it looks all right. I'm glad you can take your time to do such a thing!

Welcome :D I'm planning on finishing it tomorrow/Friday because I had to study for a big earth science unit test today, thus getting no art done. I am, however, mostly done with the line art, soon to be colored.. And awesome! I put them exactly where you want them to be, the grandma on the right and boy on the left ;) I just need to add flip flops and lemonade... where do you want those to be? (it won't take me long to do these so I'm asking now) I'll slightly adjust it with Photoshop too :3
