It's been a

It's been a long, long year, with many ups and downs. Yes. A nice, long, peaceful year that turned my life upside down and right side up again. And that is Why, my friends, I believe it is time to celebrate the anniversary of the "last ski lodge" with a new invitation.

Rules:

-Everyone seems to know the jist by now. Look it up if you don't.

-Alternate egos are welcomed and encouraged. Please specify if you would like them to be treated as another aspect of you or as another person entirely. Each individual alter ego acting as his or her own person will be tossed into the Sugarbowl.

-Game begins July 15, 2015.

-I will still not be able to drive, despite being sixteen. What a shame.

-All bags will be checked at the door. Please dispose of at this time all sharp objects, blunt items such as baseball bats, golf clubs, and your little sister, and any liquids in containers over 3.4 ounces.

-If I see a pie, I will confiscate it while smiling, patting you on the back, and saying, "Oh for me? You shouldn't have." I expect to see lots of pies. Cakes, too.

Good luck, my friends. Let's enjoy another Ski Lodge Murder Mystery together.

I wrote out Still Alive from memory, and then Want You Gone but the Admins didn't let it through.

STILL ALIVE!!!! We need to do that!!! I know all the roomie choosing is random, but I can't help but hope we're roomies so I can help you sing!

P.S.

Your Ski Lodge song is the best thing I've seen all day. Thank you for the huge smile you gave me!

Haha, it's not really random. I group people who I think would work well together or have some other connection (like being siblings or very good friends). Essentially, it's the kind of roommate you'd pick if you were really there. So I will gladly make you two roommates, if I remember.

1. Thank you! I was debating between asking or messing up royally. Glad you prevented the choice.

2. Sure. I'll make a memo of you wanting to.

3. Of course.

4. Of course! Send me a song the day or two before.

5. I began singing this in my head as the disco song Stayin' Alive before realizing that was not at all what you meant. At all.

6. Nope, you're not. Thanks for the enthusiasm.

Okay, then a few more things:

7. Shifting is non-corporeal and she can summon anything imaginable and more from other (crazy) dimensions. Also, she can phase-- kind of like teleportation. She goes into trances sometimes-- rarely, but sometimes-- and spouts prophecies. She isn't very hyper, but annoying in a not-screaming way.

Shifting: I know a song that's on everybody's nerves, everybody's nerves, everybody's nerves...

Somebody: Yeah... Her one weakness is Plasma-Melter and non-corporeal weapons. I mean, her TWO weaknesses are Plasma-Melter, non-corporeal weapons, and Doctor Who (it freaks us all out). Her THREE weaknesses are Plasma-Melter, non-corporeal weapons, Doctor Who, and red Froot Loops. Um, AMONG HER WEAKNESSES are Plasma-Melter, non-corporeal weapons, Doctor Who, and red Froot Loops.

8. ^^MONTY PYTHONS SPANISH INQUISITION REFERENCE^^

9. Volcano IS corporeal. She is terrakinetic and pyrokinetic, which grants her control over seismic events.

10. I am sonokinetic, telekinetic, and electrokinetic. Also I have a jumpsuit with a bunch of convenient gadgets.

11. Thank you for letting me sing!

12. Puns on our names are welcome.

13. We own a MIRIS, a Mobile Incredibly Resilient Intelligence system.

14. I have a pet:

Wolf

Rattlesnake

Spirting cobra

Boa constrictor

Pikachu

Mesprit

Mismagius

Manaphy

Rainbow

Shifting has a pet:

Cloud

Volcano has a pet:

Wyvern

and wants a phoenix

Which you do not have to include.

I know this might sound silly, but how do you play? I've only heard of these, never participated. It seems like everyone will have fun, do I am considering joining. (I just need to know how to play. (:)

T.O.N. (The Omnipotent Narrarator) posts his (all-seeing, all-knowing) perspective of each day at the Ski Lodge, and you post yours. He pulls a name out of the All-Powerful Sugarbowl, which is the name of the one who dies that day. The last one left is the murderer. (DUN-DUN-DUN!!) But the main rule is: be random! Does that explain it? If not, Air put links to other Ski Lodges above.

So, we'd have to report our things too? So it's kind of like an RP.....?

The day's happenings are mostly decided by T.O.N., but we get to write our thoughts and maybe some conversations and stuff, so yes and no.

Easy peasy explanation:

1. Sign up.

2. Check back.

3. Write your own view of the day if you want.

4. Make remarks and demands about what you want to see.

5. Enjoy.

Booksy: Oh, a ski lodge! That's one of those places where you ski and read and drink hot cider. Right?

Other CBers: Yeah...he he... you go on being an innocent little girl Booksy.. totally no one dies...

Booksy: What??! Someone DIES?!!!!!!! Maybe I shouldn't come...

Other CBers: Too bad, we're dragging you along!

So, I guess I'm coming. T.O.N, you're going to have to clue me in, because I've never done one of these before. Oh, and I might not be able to post that much cause I'll be in Illinois then... with no internet connection...

Sure thing. Sign up, and then sit back and relax. It doesn't matter much if you don't have wifi because the game moves on with you in it whether you can be present online or not. Even if you miss a few days, you can check back and enjoy them at your leisure.

Simply put, the ski lodge is a story that I write. I encourage as much feedback and requests as possible. Together, we can shape a cool story. Glad to have you along.
