It is dark
It is dark outside. You hear thunder crash. You huddle under your blankets, shivering. The next second, you see a bright flash. You smell smoke. Your house has been struck by lightning. You run downstairs to get the fire extinguisher, but by the time you get down, there is no more fire. On the kitchen floor, you see an envelope.
You open it. It explodes. You see a talking letter, a howler, and you hear: You have been officially invited to the storyville playpark, full of kiddy rides, cotton candy, and live rock bands! And more, which can not be disclosed at the moment, but which you will find out after the first concert!
Well, you have a passion for kiddie rides, and without even thinking about how a strange letter appeared in your kitchen, you start packing your bags.
What happens to you is a mystery. You can find out by signing up. I can do no more than 10 people. Have fun!
We start on the 24th of May.

And there will be a new installment tomorrow! Look for one each day! Sorry to keep you waiting, but I'm not really in the mood for drawing names out of a hat. That will be tomorrow morning.
Oh, one more thing: If you get condemned to the torture booth, you can guess who I am and you can go home. The Playpark will keep going, but once you fail you can just leave as well.

Ummmmmm, almost no basis for this, but are you Over the Rainbow?
(Does the insurance cover this? Yes? Oh, so when I die or am injured on a mysterious story with a pen-name using author, the Murder Mystery Insurance covers that? Good. Oh, HERE are my suicide pills, I was looking for them.)

My reasons for choosing you:
a) Over would have joined by now.
b) You said "everybuggy." Not everyone on the Chatterbox says "everybuggy."
Sure, I'll take a challenge. I deal with lava on a daily basis (thanks, Volcano).
Besides, the admins would probably have censored half the stuff in the torture booth anyway.

Eh, got to make sure to be more discreet next time!
Anyway, here's your challenge. You can't use Volcano's help. I give you a choice. You answer. I write your outcome.
The mysterious figure in bell bottoms appears once again. "Somebody, it is your turn to be challenged. You see before you your trial."
Somebody looks out and sees a bubbling lake of lava and firebenders on either side posed to use it. There is a bridge running through, a perfect shot for the benders. You can..
a) Go across the bridge
b) Decline the challenge
c) Prepare to fight
d) Beg for mercy
e) Swim across.
This sounds really bad. I'm not that good at this kind of stuff.

Somebody picks up a foot and places it on the bridge.
The nearest benders spring to action and start shooting lava. Somebody uses her telekineses to repel it, but as she concentrates on that, a little bit of lava does get spirted onto her shoe. "Ow, ow, ow!"
She takes of the shoe and throws it, then blasts all the benders with lighting. As they are stunned, she uses time to run across the bridge. She reaches the middle and picks up a bit of lava with her telekinesis. She throws it desperately at one of the benders, and it hits his face. "Yow!" He wipes the lava off to reveal a burned and blackened, grotesque face. Somebody jumps in horror, but keepd running, sending blasts of lightning frequently. She is almost at the end, running, running...
When she is stopped by a wall of lava, blocking her way. She musters her strength, preparing to telekinesify the lava away. She tenses up, and then pushes the air in front of it with her hands majesticly stretched out, palms out, in front of her.
To no avail. Three benders are pushing back, aware by now of her powers. She drops her gaze for a moment to look behind her. All clear. She gives an last mighty push to the lava and drops all power, sprinting towards the other side. Another lava wall rises to existance in front of her. She looks back, towards the end of the boardwalk.
She is trapped.
She pauses, thinking for a moment, and then decides on something. She strikes a running stance, all while lava is pushing toward her, closer and closer. She springs up and runs as fast as she can down the bard walk, towards the lava...and jumps, high into the air, using telekinesis to push herself along. She lands triumphatly, but wavers for a bit and one leg plunges into the sea of lava. She grabs the boardwalk, trying to hold on, and then desperately pulls her self out of the lava. She staggers towards the end, and the firebenders let her pass.
They have done their job.
Somebody limps onto steady ground and colappses onto thd ground. Medical emergency employees rush to her side, helping her.
"Somebody," booms the mysterious voice. "You completed the chalenge, but you are seriously hurt. You will stay in my care for the week, and then if you are sufficiently healed...you may go home!"
