Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

WOAH that is so cool!! Is it a character (your creation or otherwise) or just some random human-bean-variation-thingy? It kinda reminds me of Leo Valdez tbh

OH MY GOSH YES IT'S LEO -!!! I think I need to draw a mechanical dragon head on the prow of the boat now :P
It's not a character, I just thought it would be fun to draw. But yessss I love the "it's Leo" idea. Leo Valdez is the best. Also thank you :D

This is a horn shark! They're named for the spines before their dorsal fins. Horn sharks live in kelp forests and are mostly nocturnal. They're not streamlined to be great swimmers, but can crawl around on the bottom floor on their pectoral fins, not unlike an epaulette shark. Some eat purple urchins so often it stains their teeth and spines purple.
(I don't know how much I've talked about this which is deeply odd but sharks are currently taking over my life so yeah)

I love it! The color scheme is really great and the shark is so well done! Personally I really like artwork of fish, and while I know a shark isn't technically a fish, this art still stood out to me. Also thanks for adding the information about the shark, I always love to learn new things!

The picture is blurry and this isn't the best, but this was still really fun to make :D I love the effect of splatter painting in watercolor.

Oh! That's lovely, especially the colors and technique. Watercolor is very hard to manage ('cause it's water), but you did a fabulous job controlling the drips, etc. I think it's also called wet into wet.

I'm so happy to see this thread still alive and well! I was on the CB a lot for a few years, but haven't been on it for the last couple years. For someone reason this thread just popped into my head a few minutes ago and I came to see if it still existed. I'm so glad that it still does and that it's the same art thread as when I was on here. You guys are all so talented and I love seeing a lot of new CBers on here!
