(Subject not going through....Third time's the charm...??)
Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

@admins, i totally forgot i meant to ask, was my art i submitted "appropriate" for chatterbox, i mean they were just hugging but i wanted to make sure, cause i wouldnt consider it to be but it's obviously up to you loll
I don't find such art posted on this thread, so I guess another Admin deemed it inappropriate. I don't remember seeing it.

Ohmigosh, that is so cute!! I love how the eyes really pop. and the outfit...! Those sleeves look really cool. Also, the highlights, and the strawberry in the background...

This is art that I made that I will base my poem for the poetry contest off of. I quite like it, even though there are somethings that slightly bother me about it, but can't really fix. It was fun to make. Also I triedsomething new with this. So at first, I had an outline on one layer, then colored the rest in on seperate layers. But this time, I kept my outline sorta rough and skechy unlike my usual outlines which are smooth, for a specific reason: I wouldn't be keeping it. Because things irl don't have "outlines" (that'd be kinda weird tbh), I tried for a non-outline look. I like it, too. Though sometimes the bow on the dress kinda blends into the ocean... And the sleeves blend into the rest of the dress... But otherwise, it's great. Though the hair feels somewhat flat and too shiny. But I still do love the hair. Anyways yeah what do y'all think?

The hair is a bit shiny and maybe a little too like together bc it's windy but it looks fine to me. There's no way I could out triumph you!!!

That is utterly beautiful. I love the tones on the wood stove. Did you draw this from memory, or by looking at an object and sketching it? (oh and also hi, I got your somewhat secret message :P)

For the vast majority of my realistic drawings, I look at an object, and the wood stove drawing is no different. I drew this when I brought my sketchbook on a snowboarding trip, but the mountain closed down due to extremely low temperatures and high wind so we couldn't actually go snowboarding, and I had a lot of time to focus on the details of the wood stove and really refine the shading/highlights.
