You walk out
You walk out to your mailbox, grumpy because your mom made you do it while you were in the middle of reading The Phantom of the Opera. Opening the little door, you find nothing but a golden envelope. What's this? You wonder, and you reach in.
Upon further inspection, you discover the note is sealed with a red glob of wax. The wax is imprinted with a pair of drama masks, one happy, one sad. You peal off the seal. As you slide out the letter inside, you hear faint organ music playing in the background. Ignoring the music, you read the note.
Dear Recevier of this Note,
You have been invited to the Grand Reopening of the Paris Opera House! After being abandoned for quiet a while, this opera house is finally restored to it's glory. The queens and toms of Paris are itching to get their paws on tickets to shows, but you're lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes tour!
You will be able to see many performances, experience the wonder of early 20th century France, and even go on a tour of the Paris Opera House!* There may even be some very special guests who might show up! Your AEs and CAPTCHAs are welcome. Do you dare to come with me on a slpendid journey of music and mystery?

You shrug, and think, This seems fun. Suddenly, fur starts sprouting up all over your skin, and the world around you starts to spin. You soon find yourself in front of the Paris Opera House, as an anthropomorphic cat.

Day 4, Part 9
The next day, the CBers and The House Owner had a meeting to discuss the previous murders. "I miss September..." Cortana sobbed. "Me too..." Chester mumbled solemnly. The House Owner listened carefully as the CBers chatted about what should be done, who they thought the murderer was, and other related topics. He tried to pick up the slightest hint that led to the killer's identity, but with no success.
Celeste had also joined the meeting, but she sat quietly, no words coming out of her mouth. SydneySong noticed this, and walked over.
"What's wrong?" SydneySong asked. Celeste sighed. "I feel so bad for the murdered." she confessed woefully. SydneySong put a paw on Celeste's shoulder. "We'll find that murderer!" she declared.
Suddenly, September appeared. Cortana squealed with joy, and Chester ran over to hug her. September hugged Chester back, but a confused look remained on Cardinal's face. "You're dead!" the red-furred queen exclaimed. "True," September said. "But I'm a ghost!" The CBers gasped. "Really?" hotairballoon exclaimed. September nodded. "Wow..." Mystery muttered. "We're in the presence of a real live ghost!"
Spyro ran over to September. "Cool!" he meowed. "You're a ghost!" "Not cool." Said The Feline, who seemed to not want to stay in bed. "Being a ghost is horrible. Sure, you get to stay in contact with friends and family, but you're dead, and you can't sleep or eat." "Pierre!" Celeste fussed, ignoring what The Feline just said. "Get back in bed!"
The Feline muttered something under his breath, but obeyed. He stomped back to his room, cursing silently the whole way, Celeste on his heels. The House Owner padded over to September. "So you're a ghost, and you gave your life force to The Feline. Am I mistaken?" he asked. "No." September replied politely. "I'm a ghost, and The Feline lives again." The House Owner walked away.
