Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Song Lyrics!

Song Lyrics!

Ok, so on the MB we have threads where we can just post complete song lyrics from songs that we like (provided they're appropriate of course). And since PP is basically dead... *shrug* maybe this'll wake it up.

I'mma gonna go first, 'kay?

Look at these people

Amazing how sheep'll show up for the slaughter

No one condemning you

Lined up like lemmings you led to the water

Why can't they see what I see

Why can't they hear the lies?

Maybe the fee's to pricy for them to realize

Your disguise is... slipping...

I think you're slipping...

Now that your savior is still as the grave

You're beginning to fear me

Like cavemen fear thunder I still have to wonder

Can you really hear me?

I bring you pain, the kind you can't suffer quietly

Fire up your brains, remind you inside your

Rioting society is... slipping...

Everything's slipping...

Away... So...

Go ahead! Run away! Say it was Horrible!

Spread the word! Tell a friend! Tell them the tale!

Get a pic! Do a blog! Heros are over with!

Look at him! Not a word- Hammer, meet nail!

Then I win! Then I get everything I ever-

All the cash! All the fame! and social change-

Anarchy! That I run! It's Dr. Horrible's turn!

You people all have to learn!

This world is going to burn!

Burn! Bu-

**Yeah, it's two r's, H-O-R-R- yeah right.**

Burn!

No sign of Penny, good I would give anything

Not to have her see...

It's gonna be bloody, head up Billy buddy,

There's no time for mercy...

Here goes no mercy...

Haha, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. <3

3 and 9 are from The Little Mermaid. 6 is from The Music Man. 5 sounds familiar, but I can't place it...

Wonder pets! Wonder pets! We're on our way to help a little animal and save the day.

We're not too big and we're not too tough, but when we work together, we got the right stuff.

Go wonder pets! Yeah!

I have a little sister. Nuff said.

Okay, this song is called "Fields Of Gold"

by Sting. I just think it's a pretty song, and

not common so I decided I'd use it on here...o.O

M'kay, I don't want to put the whole thing on here,

so this is just the last part, 'cause I like it best XD :

Many years have passed since those summer days

Among the fields of barley

See the children run as the sun goes down

Among the fields of gold

You'll remember me when the west wind moves

Upon the fields of barley

You can tell the sun in his jealous sky

When we walked in fields of gold

When we walked in fields of gold

When we walked in fields of gold

Hey! We sing that in choir! Or attempt to, anyway. It's such a pretty song. Especially when we're *not* singing it and someone who actually knows the rhythm is. Meh.

Chitty Bang Bang chitty chitty bang bang

Chitty Bang Bang chitty chitty bang bang

Chitty Bang Bang chitty chitty bang bang

Oh, you, chitty chitty bang bang we love you

And, our, chitty chitty bang bang

Pretty chitty bang bang

Loves us, too!

Near, far, in a motorcar

Oh, what a happy time we'll spend

Bang bang chitty chitty bang bang,

Our fine four fendered-friend

Bang bang chitty chitty bang bang,

Our fine four fendered friend!

(repeat up to loves us too)

High, low, anywhere we go,

On chitty chitty we depend

Bang bang chitty chitty bang

Our fine four fendered friend... (I'll post more later, it's hard to type Chitty over and over, but the best part of the song is still coming up:)

This thread will not die! I will not let it! /sleep deprived weirdness

Don't come on so cocksure boy

You can't escape your genes

No point in feeling pure, boy

Your background intervenes

Now listen good and listen straight

You're not the master of your fate

To this you must be reconciled

You'll always be your father's child

At times reclaimed, at times reviled

You'll wind up doing just as I'd have done

Like father, like son

(Don't assume your vices

Get handed down the line

That a parent's blood suffices

To condemn the child's design

I've done wrong I can't deny

But at least I know that I

I shouldn't blame that on my stock

Well this may come as quite a shock

But I'm no chip off any block-

I wouldn't wish those words on anyone

Like father, like son)

Son you're nervous, take my hand

All is settled, all is planned

You've got the world at your command

I don't think you understand

(I appreciate too well

The squalor at which you excel

It isn't very hard to tell

Evil's a distinctive smell!)

et cetera, et cetera.

((Ancient Egyptians knowing about genes WTH aside, I love that song))

Hey, I'll post some lyrics from Ghost of the Cinema! They're © me, though. I wrote them. Well, Ashlee and I wrote them. Also, FYI, they don't have any music right now. They're just lyrics. There's also some dialogue 'cause the lyrics don't make sense without it.

KRISTEN

You actually live here?

ERIK

Yup. Well, mostly in the office above the projector room, but yeah.

KRISTEN

Creepy.

ERIK

Eh, you get used to it.

(beginning to sing)

It’s dark and it’s dusty

And the spiders are nasty

The stairs are steep and

The hallways are musty

And I think there’s a family

Of mice in the walls-

KRISTEN

Ew.

ERIK

Well, they mostly don’t bother me.

The floorboards can creak and

The projectors are old

There’s a hole in the floor by the door…

KRISTEN

Right…

ERIK

It’s cold and it’s drafty in winter

And terribly hot in the spring

To say nothing of summer. Ugh…

KRISTEN

I’ll bet…

ERIK

But it’s my home and

It’s where I can hide

From the world and its

Prejudice against-

KRISTEN

Geeks?

(There is a long silence.)

ERIK

I think that was a little harsh.

KRISTEN

Oh. Sorry.

ERIK

S’alright.

Climbing these stairs

They creak and they groan

Sometimes I worry

‘Cause termites are nasty-

KRISTEN

To say nothing of gross.

ERIK

And they make these weird crunching noises as you squish them.

KRISTEN

‘Kay, I did not need to know that.

I’ll admit it, I’m freaked

First I heard you in walls

Now the hinges have creaked

And I’m walking through dark halls

With someone I’ve never met before…

So yeah. Um, for those who don't know, Ghost (aka Ghost of the Cinema) is a spoof of The Phantom of the Opera that my friend Ashlee and I are writing. Because we are geeks like that. :)

If only I had the item number two,

I could get to the other side easily,

But even though many time many time, I try to do

I just can't seem to beat Air Man (I changed the words here to fit better, it's originally Japanese but there is a English version too, and I'm quoting the English cuz I don't know Japanese (altho my mum does, duh!))

It's impossible for anyone to dodge his tornadoes.................

And then another part:

If I only had Wood sheild,

I could beat Air Man easily,

But even though many time many time, I try to do,

I just can't seem to beat Wood Man,

It's impossible for anyone to dodge falling leaves

ANd then the end

I cant beat Air man.....(fading away)

And the "I just can't seem to beat Air/Wood Man" line was originally "I am able to beat Air/Wood Man" but that doesn't make any sense. So I changed it. And if you search on youtube "AIRMAN CANNOT KNOCK IT DOWN" you will get this song. It's about this video game, I think. Really random.

Apparently I'm addicted to weird YouTube songs, cuz Air Man and this crazy Star Wars fan song have been alternately running through my head.

You must use the Force..(repeated many times)

Kiss a Wookie,

Kick a droid

Fly the Falcon

through an asteroid!

Till the princess

is annoyed

This is spaceships

is monsters

is Star Wars

we love it

Come and help me

Obi-Wan

X-Wing fighter

and a blaster gun

Dance with Ewoks

Having fun (I don't know about this line...)

This is spaceships

is monsters

is Star Wars

we love it

Get in there you great

furry oaf.

I couldn't care less

what you smell!

I take orders from

Only me

Maybe you'd

like it back in you cell

your worshipfulnes

your highness

your worshipfulness your highness

your worshipfulness

Nobody cares

if you upset a droid

thats because droids dont tear

your arms out of sockets

I suggest a new strategy

Let the Wookie win

thats because nobody cares

(one more season one more season one more season one more season (and so on untill I mark it "one more season end"))

I was gonna go to tashi

to pick up power converters

now I guess I'm going nowhere

It just isn't fair

(one more season end)

Woooookie

(wookie sounds)

wooooookie

(wookie sounds)

(and soo on then)

someone move this walking carpet

someone move this walking carpet

wookie wookie

someone move this walking carpet

someone move this walking carpet

wookie wookie

(I forgot this part)

Kiss your brother kiss your brother

Well I guess you don't know

any thing about women

(kissy sound)

Princess Leia

Who's your daddy

whos your daddy

whos your daddy

(think angelic choir for the next part exept the part in parenthese)

Luke, I'm your father

It is useless to resist

(thats not true!)

come with me my son

we will rule

(OW! MY HAND!)

search your feelings

it is true

(I'll never join you!)

So you have a twin sister

That Obi-Wan was wise to hide

(Is that Leia?)

If you won't turn

then perhaps she will

give in to your hate

you are mine

long long long time ago

far far far away

..................

Kiss a wookie

kick a droid

fly the falcon

through an asteroid

till the princess is annoyed!

This is spaceships

is monsters

is Star Wars

we love it

its true

oooooooo

May the Force be with you all!!!

(John Williams is the man!)

------------------------------------------------------

If you want to watch it, search Star Wars (John Williams is the man)! This dude is really talented! I love this song! Martia says that if you just search Star Wars it's the third from the top, so you could do that too. I like the "Luke I'm your father" part the best. It's hilarious!

These are my friends

See how they glisten

See this one shine

How he smiles in the light

My friend, my faithful friends...

Speak to me friend

Whisper, I'll listen

I know, I know

You've been locked out of sight

All these years

Like me, my friend...

Well I've come home

To find you waiting

Home... And we're together

And we'll do wonders...

Won't we...

You there, my friend (I'm your friend too, Mr. Todd)

Come, let me hold you (If you only knew, Mr. Todd)

Now with a sigh (Ooh, Mr. Todd)

You grow warm in my hand (You're warm in my hand)

My friend (You've come home...)

My clever friend (Always had a fondness for you I did...)

Rest now my friend (Never you fear, Mr. Todd)

Soon I'll unfold you (You can move in here, Mr. Todd)

Soon you'll know (Splendors you never)

Splendors you never (Have dreamed all your days)

Have dreamed all your days (Will be yours)

My lucky friend! (I'm your friend...)

(And now you're mine...)

Till now your shine (Don't they shine beautiful...)

Was merely silver (Silver's good enough for me...)

Friends... (Mr. T...)

You shall drip rubies...

You'll soon drip precious... rubies...
