I love debating and sharing my theories on why certain people did certain things as well as yelling and shouting some things about the Ministry of Magic--not very nice things.

Also, I would just like to say that people need to stop complaining that Truth Potion should be a Ministry protocall and that it's a hole in the books that they didn't give Sirius truth potion before sending him to Azkaban.

To that I say: BARTY CROUCH SENT HIM THERE WITHOUT TRIAL. NO TRIAL = NO TRUTH POTION.

I'll answer your debate question.

I am highly against the justifying of Snape. I think it's ridiculous. Yes, I will admit - James Potter was a jerk, no questions asked. But Severus Snape did not just cower and let himself be bullied - he did pretty well as a jerk himself. No one was innocent in the Snape vs Potter era, which the movies totally botched.

Snape hates Harry. Why does Snape hate Harry? Because he's James's son. That's his only reason. He doesn't take the time to get to know the kid, assess him, or have a chat. He decides, even before meeting Harry, that he hates him. That's not right. He treated Harry horribly throughout the six years he was in school, had clear favoritism, and was grossly unfair to every Gryffindor, especially Potter. But no - Snape has a crush, so everything he did is suddenly right.

Sorry, I'm not buying it.

The movies - in answer to your question - were accurate on a lot of accounts. But they completely romanticized Snape and ruined his complex history. That's mostly why I have such a strong opinion on this topic; if they hadn't done that, I would be more neutral, because he really is a very grey character. Still, considering how awfully they did on portraying him, and how many people that deluded, I've gotta go with what I said above.

And the new book - I have so much to say about the new book. Mostly? Almost every character was warped and misused, they were really grasping at straws in places, the villains' child is so overused, and Rose+Scorpius was insanely forced. Not to offend anyone here, but I'm Albus+Scorpius all the way. I, like many other fans, have decided to regard it as widespread fanfiction and instead celebrate Fantastic Beasts.

Speaking of which . . .

Another activity for you:

What did you think of Fantastic Beasts?

Wow, ST Owly, that was a long rant! I loved it. I agree on most of those points.

Rant/Debate:

Snape, in my opinion, was neither good nor bad. He was much more complicated than that. In the movies, they completely failed on that, making him evil, then all of a sudden alright just because he James was horrible and he liked Lily. Snape bullies Harry and makes his life a misery for the entire series, and now just because he was bullied by Harry's father, he becomes an good person? Dont get me wrong, Snape was brave and an amazing person but I think people are being too forgiving of what Snape did in return. Maybe he wasn't as bad as James, but did he have to take it out on Harry as much as he did?

Sorry, I was ranting. Dont worry, thats just my opinion, I am not annoyed if you think differently. (:

Fantastic Beasts the Movie

Yes!!! I loved this movie soooo much! I watched it two nights in a row! All I have to say is if the baker had trouble squeezing into the suitcase, how did the giant rhino thing just get sucked in? What was your favourite creature? I loved the niffler and the slothy thing that could predict the immediate future. So cool! The charecter I really couldn't stand was that president lady. She annoyed md so much! And

*spoilers beware*

Grindewald. He was annoying, too.

*end of spoilers*

The movies (beware of spoilers)

I have to say, I liked some parts of the movies a lot. Hovever, I think they needed to stick to the plot more. For example THEY LEFT PEEVES OUT OF THE MOVIE!!! Why? I mean, yeah, he was the most annoying charecter in the history of Harry Potter, but he was an important part of Hogwarts. They left out a heap of little details like that throughout the series, and some important stuff, too, like, as I said before: Movie:  Snape was bullied by James Potter, and all he wanted was to avoid them. As they bullied him, he cowered in the corner, afraid of them. Books: Snape tried to hex them right back and, in my opinion, was just as bad as them, except there were two (sort of four) of them and only one of him. Lily offered him help and stood up to James to make them stop their bullying. Snape declares he didn't want help from a mudblood. Lily thinks they are just as bad as each other and I agree.

As for the actors, I think Ron and Hermione did great, especielly as they got older. Harry was ok, he looked excactly like the book charecter, but I think the acting could have been better, though. He was pretty good. Omygosh I think Luna, Ginny, Hermione and Neville did great though and in the movies they will always be my favourite.

Favourite Charecters:

Luna and Hermione. There. Done. They will always be my favourite charecters for ever and ever. I like Luna because of her mysterious and slightly insane personality, and Hermione because of her booksyness and kindness.

(:

And I love Luna because of her voice, expression, and manner of speaking!

Harry Potter Nerdiness: 9/10

House: Ravenclaw!

Beware: I Have Tons of Spoilers. Only Read on if You've Read All the Books

Okay, I need to rant about something. I don't like Harry Potter, the character. He let Serius die, Cedric die, Dumbledore, Tonks, Lupin... The list goes on. He would have gotten himself killed a hundred times over if it weren't for Hermione Granger there to save his butt, and he's a horrible father in the Cursed Child, parts 1 and 2. I have other reasons, but first I would like to know if anyone agrees with me?

Also, who has had stuff spoiled for them? When I was reading book 1, this kid comes up to me and...

Random Kid: So you like Harry Potter, huh?

Cute 'Lil Innocent 1st Grade Embers: Yes. It's awesome!

Random Kid: So you like Dumbledore?

Cute 'Lil Innocent 1st Grade Embers: Of course!

Random Kid: He dies in Book 6. Snape kills him.

Cute 'Lil Innocent 1st Grade Embers: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

And I still cried when he died in book 6. Then, my sibling in 1st grade was reading them, and this kid comes up to her and spoils THE SAME THING!

Actually, my level of Harry Potter fangirliness is now nine....AND THREE QUARTERS.

Embers, my brother spoiled the exact same thing.

I didn't cry when Dumbledore died--as a little kid, he was too complex for me.

SPOILERS TO LAST BOOK AHEAD

Dobby, Lupin, and Tonks.

I couldn't stop bawling, and, Fred....

I may sound cold-hearted, but Bellatrix DESERVED what she got, and Molly was the PERFECT person to give it to her.

@ Lilypad, I'm the exact same way! Luna and Hermione are my favorites!

As far as Snape goes, I think he's good and bad. No one is just purely one or the other. Yes, he was terrible to Harry, but James was terrible to Snape. Also, he kind of had to be, so he didn't blow his disguise. I think what justifies him in my eyes is him killing Dumbledore. Dumbledore was the only one who ever completely trusted Snape, and I think obeying him and killing him would have been the hardest thing in the world.

That's just my opinion.

CB Name- Rae

HP Geekiness level (I prefer the term geek over nerd. Idk why)- 10!!!

House- SLYTHERIN!!!

I feel that all the hate towards Slytherin is absolutely ridiculous. Just because all the "evil" (it's in quotes because some of them were just misunderstood!) witches and wizards came out of that particular house doesn't mean that every single Slytherin has completely horrid intentions to everyone else. Like Albus and Scorpius! (sorry if you don't like the Cursed Child. I loved it.) Some people were raised in a negative way, and they didn't/don't know how to separate themselves from that. Take Draco, for example. And another thing! Please, please, don't hate on the purebloods. Lucius is, I admit, an insult to thier blood status, but he shouldn't be the person that you think of when someone says pureblood. Here, look at the Weasleys! *gestures to the side where they happen to be standing* *Fred and George look up, and wave* They are one of the kindest families in, yes, I'm telling the truth here, the entire world. Worlds. (Both fictional and real.) Blood status shouldn't need to be taken so severely. Wow. *looks up at all the wonderful words that have just been written* Did I just write all that? Oh, and, bless me, what's this? It looks like it just might be a rant. Sorry about that. Hehe. But honestly, I am hoping you read that. I want you all to know and acknowledge my opinion. You don't have to agree, at all, but I want you to recognize me.

I love all the movies, including, actually especially, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I heard that there are going to be more! Maybe five? YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

Anyways, gotta go. I love you guys, but you know that.
