Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Thirty day drawing challenge!!

I know that a lot of you will be about to click away from this because you’re thinking “Oh, I can’t draw, there’s no way I’m doing this.” But that’s not true. Everyone can draw, you just need to practice! So please feel free to join us, we won’t judge. My drawings (as you will see) are pretty amateur, but hopefully they will improve over the course of this!
You can join at any time. Try to do all of these drawings in order, but if you need to skip a day or want to do multiple in one day, that’s fine. I know it’s kind of a random time to start a month-long challenge, but I wasn’t about to wait until November. Make sure you specify what drawing you’re doing!
If you finish (which everyone is going to do, right???), I will do a hand drawn picturing of you (and if you’d like, you can draw picturings for other people as well)
So without further ado, here are your daily inspirations! Be creative and make them your own!
  1. An unconventional face
  2. A still life of the first thing you grab randomly out of your desk drawer
  3. Anything, but you aren’t allowed to use an eraser
  4. Food
  5. A person in motion
  6. A scene in historic times
  7. Something purple
  8. A musical instrument
  9. Your pet, or the pet you wish you had
  10. Anything, but using a media you aren’t used to
  11. Something in your backyard
  12. Royalty
  13. Some kind of transportation
  14. A tiny drawing on a 2” by 2” piece of paper
  15. Your hand
  16. A scene from a book
  17. Something abstract
  18. A landscape
  19. A self portrait with your eyes closed— no peaking!
  20. The sky today
  21. A message in fancy letters (calligraphy)
  22. A scene in a fantasy or sci fi world
  23. Sadness
  24. Yourself as an animal
  25. A picture drawn without lifting the pencil
  26. A fantastical tree
  27. A drawing inspired by a dream or one of your earliest memories
  28. Something made of glass or transparent
  29. A redo of one of your earlier drawings
  30. A banner, trophy, wreath of laurels, etc. to celebrate your accomplishment!!
Happy drawing! I will post mine after this shows up.

I have been keeping up with the drawings, just neglecting to post them! Here's number three, drawing without an eraser. A really weirdly proportioned elephant. Whoever created this challenge, there's a reason why we use erasers/whiteout ya know xD??

#5: A person in motion. A frame from a comic, because I can't draw people in any other way and have them look like they're actually moving.

Everyone can work at their own pace, so you can begin with an unconventional face and then work down the list. Thanks for joining! I had another drawing project I wanted to work on so I've kind of been neglecting this, but I'll try to get back to it!
