Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

What you are

What you are wearing thread!

I am a new Cber, and to get used to what Chatterbox is all about I was looking through some old threads. I stumbled upon a few "What you are wearing" threads and I thought I would make one of my own!

Today I wore black leggings, a long-sleeved black shirt, and a skirt I got recently. The skirt is black with red floral patterns on it, and a line of buttons are down the front. I wore tawny brown shoes that were lined with fur, and neon emoji socks underneath (That's just between us ;)). My hair was half curled in an attempt to style it while rushing out the door, resulting in it coming up just enough to frame my face.

Share your outfits if you'd like :)

The dark blue shirt with the light blue, light green, white and olive green stripes, grey leggings that are really comfortable and a little too big, and dark grey fuzzy socks that have a white and brown dog with a red bow tie on them, which I put on over my leggings so they come up to almost mid-calf. I still have the ‘dragon scale’ nail polish on but it’s chipping pretty bad, and my hair’s wet because I showered recently.

Rolled out of bed 30 minutes before my friend picked me up, so I showered, ate, and threw something on. Here we go.

New black skinny jeans, long witchy-looking grey and black striped socks, standard rings and combat boots, concealer and face powder, I let my hair air dry so it's a little wavy or something, short sleeved black t-shirt with cats in sparkly santa hats and red and white striped socks (it was a Christmas gift, not my idea), glasses.

Life update: well, not really a life update, but I don't think I've ever explained what "standard makeup" means to me? Concealer (even the lightest shade is still too dark for me, RIP pale skin) under my eyes and covering any blemishes, face powder (which is exactly what it sounds like, and it's to kinda blend the concealer), eye shadow (shimmery gold/brown), and mascara. It sounds like more than it is? I still look like me with it on, which is something I like about it. I just look like a sparklier, more awake version of me.

I am far from dressed up today. My attire includes: Jeans - Wait what?! Since when does Silver wear jeans? Oh, everyday? I hadn't noticed - A normal gray long sleeve T-shirt over top of a olive green cami. My Philadelphia Flyers sweatshirt - sweatshirts, again something that I'm rarely seen without - and right now I'm wearing a black Cabela's vest because I was ice skating and when I came back inside I was cold. For shoes I'm wearing brown suade boots (boring, boring) and on my head I'm wearing a black hat that has a saber-toothed tiger on it and a screw. Dunno, it's my sister's. I'm also wearing a bunch of fancily tied up bracelets and my one plastic bracelet thingy that says "Anything Peaceful" in blue letters on it.

Anyway, as I said, I'm far from fancy, but never mind all that. I have to get to work, because clearly I am procrastinating. How are you gals and guys these days?

I'm wearing jeans, white ankle socks with blue and purple stripes, a dark maroonish purplish long-sleeved shirt, my Sugarloaf sweatshirt over that with the sleeves pushed up to my elbows, and my hair is down and a little floofy-curly. Here's the fun part--the bottom inch/inch and a half/two inches are pinkish red! It's this really fabulous vibrant color that shows up pretty well. It's like, darkish pink, but more like red, and sort of light, but like, candy-colored almost. I dyed it for February/Valentine's Day and it turned out really well, partly because the ends of my hair were already lighter (from bleach) anyway. It's like, red, but it's also like, pink, it's really hard to describe but it's SO COOL!

Today I'm wearing jeans (big surprise), my scuffed old cowboy boots (another big surprise), a green top with a weirdly low neckline and a camo button down shirt over top of that. The shirt is unbuttoned and the sleeves are rolled up to my elbows. My hair is down and in a weird mood today. I'm wearing my usual bracelets and usual makeup - except that my makeup is also in a weird mood today.

@Leafy - Your hair sounds so cute! That's such a cool idea to dye it for Valentine's day!

@Leafy, your hair sounds so pretty! That's awesome! I've always sort of wanted to dye my hair but never got around to it.

Today I was wearing a beige crop top, high-waisted skinny jeans with zippers at the ankles, a slightly oversized cream cashmere sweater, heeled leather ankle boots, and gold hoop earrings. I changed when I got home, though, so now I'm wearing the same top, grey pajama pants, and a pale grey hoodie with pink-and-white stripes on the pocket.

On a clothes-related note, my mom gave me a few pairs of her old pants from college or whatever, and I'm not sure whether I like them or not? The first is high-waisted (all of them are) red corduroy pants, which are pretty cute but way too loose at the waist. Then these bootcut jeans which fit weirdly in general; RL pink capri pants; and this pair of Ann Taylor pants that are khaki? But also velvet??? And bell-bottoms?? And generally very confusing.

The others I think I could work with, but I'm not even sure where to begin with the khakis XD

Black slacks (Hollister), blue-grey button-down shirt with white buttons (Hollister), grey sweat socks (Adidas), and when I was out of the house this morning black boots/booties, and a grey shawl sweater (Hollister). Also headphones, now.

Right now I’m wearing black socks, grey leggings, and this really cool shirt I got from the gift shop of an Irish pub we went to a couple days ago. It’s forest green with a Celtic harp and some cool circular Celtic knot designs on it in metallic gold. Under the design it says ‘Raglan Road’ which is the name of the restaurant. The sleeves are white with two stripes on each one, the same color as the rest of the shirt. My hair is in very dishelved double Dutch braids (I slept in them and haven’t taken them out yet).

@Leafy, ah, your hair sounds so cool! I think it’d be so fun to temporarily dye my hair sometime, but I’m too afraid that it wouldn’t come out, or at least not for awhile, or maybe do something weird to my hair. I have a lot of fears related to messing up my hair. XD

I'm wearing a black t-shirt with a colorful, watercolor-y stylized Rebellion symbol from Star Wars: Rebels, black jeans, my black and red Rebels jacket, and black wool sneakers.

Today I'm wearing black skinny jeans (that actually fit, it's a miracle), a white long drape-sleeved sweater, black combat boots, standard makeup, and my Egyptian eye necklace.

Black puffer jacket, red-and-white striped cropped tank top, black high-waisted ripped jeans, silver seashell earrings, and my doodled-on Converse. Whew. That's a lot of adjectives.

I just realized I never posted a picture of my Converse! They were originally plain white, but I drew all over them. They're not nearly as clean now as they are in this picture. :P

Wow, I love those! White Converse are such a cool idea--they're just like a blank slate for doodling on and expressing yourself! Unfortunately, I think white Converse would get murdered by the weather pretty soon in Portland ME. I've got red ones, though, and I'd love to draw on them (like on the toes and around the sole) I just haven't thought of what I want to do yet. Also I've got a lack of good Sharpies. ;/ Yours are so pretty though!

Ahh, those are so cool! Like Leafy, I love the idea of drawing on white converse, but I’m afraid they’d get destroyed pretty quickly, being white and knowing me. XD And I also don’t know what I’d do. I’d probably be really scared to mess them up and it would probably take me awhile to actually start drawing. I really love those, though, wow.

Those are so cool! The Outsiders and Six of Crows, right? You did a great job on them! They're really awesome.
