The CBer sat in the shade outside their house, staring up at the single cloud in the sky. It was nearly July, and already sweltering hot. They wondered idly if it was going to rain tomorrow.
A bird glided over from somewhere behind them. Oddly, it landed right at their feet, seemingly unafraid. As the CBer watched, it set down a scroll, and stared at them for a second before flapping away. The CBer watched it go, then opened the missive.
You are invited to a free* thirty-one day** vacation at the luxurious Ryokan Suzuran! Located in a scenic valley, we offer hiking trails, hot springs and traditional Japanese rooms and services, all for no cost!* To accept, simply bury this message in open soil and water lightly. Guests and luggage to be transported by dragon.***
*Popcorn not included.

***Guests may not keep their dragons upon arrival.

Personality: Weird, just weird.
Strengths: Art, singing, songwriting (actually any kind of composing of texts) and cooking
Weaknesses: Strong loathing for math equations, egg salad, annoying people
Reasons for attending: For the heck of it...? Is that ok?
Luggage: My pots and pans and a good deal of dry foodstuff and supplies, paper and ink, pajamas and spare clothes, toiletries, my sandals, and a random pair of bloomers that was at the bottom of the luggage to begin with.

CBer, AE, Captcha, or Captchae: It's just me. Although is it alright if I bring Sam and Wildflower along? They need a vacation.
Appearance: Normally? Short, shoulder-length brown hair, small green-blue eyes and kind of tan-ish skin. (Updated) CB appearance? Slightly longer brown hair. The tips are dyed pink and in loose curls. (still small :P ) Thorn-green eyes. Wears either long, rosebud pink dress with darker pink and green sprigs on the skirt, or jeans, a pink shirt, and a little pink hood (not a cape. No capes) that laces up in the front and dangles just past my shoulder. It's a magic hood :P I don't know what it does, but it is very ...interesting.
Personality: Umm. Y'all know me. I'm southern born and bred. I like poetry. And books (duh) and musicals. I'm very talkative. I'm also the kid who, when you're taking a picture, always sticks her tongue out. I call it my Race Face.
Strengths: Writing. Uhhh...I'm kind of a goat whisperer. And I like to act?? And I'm extraverted?? I don't know.
Weaknesses: I am the klutzies klutz in all of klutzville. Heck, I rule klutzville. ALL YOU PEASANTS OF KLUTZVILLE FOLLOW ME LIKE LOYAL LEMMINGS mwahahaha...

Reason for attending: In reality? I like ski lodges. And this one is the most promising one I've seen in a while. But I guess it's really becasue of the dragon.

Appearance: Shoulder length wavy brown hair (usually in messy bun or ponytail), grey-blue eyes with gold centers, tall for her age, and has large green and silver wings. Wears shorts, doctor who t-shirts, no shoes, and black ribbon around her wrist for mourning. Has scar on her cheek. Has strange teeth.
Personality: Very sarcastic, and will burn you the first chance she gets. Will listen to music nonstop with her earbuds in. Doesn't like being around people she doesn't know (unless they are kids her age). Bottles up emotions for months, and then pours them out in waterfalls.
Strengths: Imagination, cunning, manipulation, and bravery.
Weaknesses: Gets deppressed easily, is sensitive about her art, and hates being ignored.
Reason for attending: Looks like fun.
Luggage: Sketchbook and art supplies, popcorn, Ender's game, Harry Potter series, silver dragon bracelet, ipod touch, and earbuds.

Appearance: dark tan skin, bright turquoise dreadlocks, dark at the bottom and fading to light at the top. a mess of rainbow colored rubber bands on her right hand, a turquoise watch on her left. Bright colored t-shirts, jean or blue/turquoise shorts with lots of pockets (some secret!). Bare feet and a braided leather anklet on her right ankle. Some times wears a denim or leather jacket.
Personality: Always happy, cheerful, and optimistic, forgetful, funny, always laughing, adventurous, not squeamish, loves exploring and playing hide and seek, climbing trees, and just being active in general. Kind, resourceful, brave. Sometimes a little annoying. LOVES music and dancing, art, writing, acting. Loves playing games and solving mysteries. Loves stories, myths, legends, fantasy worlds, etc. Loves space!
Strengths: bravery, loyality, trustworthiness, optimisticness/cheerfulness
Weaknesses: Unpatience, sometimes goes too far with jokes, argues with everything, can be annoying
Reason for attending: I love Ski Lodges!!
Luggage: clothes, toiletries, books, journal, pens, sketch pad, drawing pencils, ipad and earphones (and charger), a magical water bottle full of ice cold lemonade that refills itself, a magical cinnamon roll still hot that magically refills all the bites, cards, Blue backback with stars and constellations on it that always seems to have just the right amount of room in it

Other: I live in Hawaii, so I am very familiar with Japanese culture. And I love all the food! Most of the things other people might think are "weird" or "gross". (especially tako! I love tako!! (octopus) Except it's hard to eat it when it's the whole animal. ):
