So, there's a poetry contest and a photography contest and writing contests pop up a lot, but there's not any drawing contests right now. I know that there are soooo many awesome artists on CB (many are way better than me lol), so I felt like it would be a good idea to start a drawing contest.
The first theme is going to be "beach", and I'll be judging on the 12th if more than two people enter. I hope this catches on!!

I think that this could technically partain to the theme "hiding," since the girl is hiding behind a mask.

Third place! Alizarine! I liked your drawing a lot, especially how you couldn't see the woman's eyes. It gave her a certain malicious feel to her, despite her polished and inactive appearance.
Second place! Jaybells! The hair was very well done and the eyes impressed me, but the originality of the mask and how intricate it was really brought all of the focus to the mask and only the mask. Well done!
First place! SUNSHINE WIIIIIIIIIIIIINGS! Your drawing was simple, but it conveyed a lot of emotion. I'd love to see more of these psychological twisters in the future!
Also @Claaws thanks for the congrats! I swear I thought you were going to win that round. XD

ok sorry about that, im just super excited bc this is the first time winning anything on cricket... The next theme is shadows and i will judge on the 30th.

Here's my entry! It's not great, but I kinda like it? It's unlikely that I'll win with this, considering the fact I'm competing against Jaybells who is way better at art than me, but I wanted to try anyway. Hopefully it shows up.

Woah Fleet.....It's so different from your usual art, but it's so cool and inspiring and uplifting. I know you said you don't think you're going to win, but I think AT LEAST you're compition.
