"Jack of all

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

"Jack of all

"Jack of all trades and master of none is better than a master of one."

A curious way to begin, but curious ways tend to be better. If one would like to intrigue their audience, of course.

Unfortunately, for this, you will not be able to use any special abilities (hence why there is no 'other' section) nor will you be able to bring AEs or CAPTCHAs.

It will operate a little like a Ski Lodge, a little like a Solo Write, and a little like a Choose Your Own Adventure.

I will post segments, and you will post how you wish to respond. I will decide whether or not you actually do that. The main part of this, however, is to figure out what happened, and what's happening. There are multiple mysteries, not necessarily murder, which is why I hesitate to call it a Ski Lodge.

Rather, I'll call it a Webspinner.

This is a really, really interesting thingamabob and I will be following it closely. I wish I'd joined when I had the chance (I only just notied this), but I'm cool with just reading it. I mean, I can still be super annoying by pointing out clues and hints in the comments, so there's that!

ALSO, I've been trying to figure out why only Winterblue, Agent Winter, and Joan B., have foggy heads. After a few minutes if furious cross-referencing with the other charry sheets, there's only one thing they have all in common that no one else has.

They all have blue eyes.

Now why would that make a difference?

Part Two:

Kitten pinches herself to make sure she's not dreaming, but nothing happens. She walks over to Moonlight, who's inspecting the side of one of the pods.

"What are you doing?" Kitten asks.

"Look," Moonlight says. She points at the side. There is a logo of some sort. It appears to be a rose, surrounded by a circle.

"Strange," Kitten muses.

Agent Winter and Stardust search the room. They find a small nightstand. In the drawer is some money and a pocket knife. AW takes the knife and Stardust takes the money. They head to the center of the rectangular room, where CBers have begun to gather and figure out what's happening.

The light suddenly goes out. "Sorry!" Summer cries. "I didn't mean to make things worse…"

"It's okay," Kitten says.

Winterblue rubs the side of her still foggy head. She suddenly pauses.

One of the cement wall blocks was glowing.

"Why is that glowing?" Joan B. asks.

"...Nothing is glowing. There's no lights," Spiffycat says.

"That block is glowing!" AW cries.

"Guys, we should just calm down and find a light," Dusk S. says.

"Wait," Kitten says loudly. "How many people can see the glowing block?"

Only Winterblue, AW, and Joan B. raise their hands.

CBers, what do you choose to do?

I choose to ask those three if they've felt or noticed anything else unusual that they think we haven't.

This is really, really interesting.....

I ask Winterblue, Joan B, and AW, "Which block is glowing?" Then, when they tell me, I go up and touch it.

By ‘nothing happens,’ do you mean that I feel the pinch as usual, or that I can’t feel anything?

Since the three who can see the glowing block are the only ones with blue eyes, I suggest that we sort ourselves by eye color and see if there are any other shared feelings. For example, maybe only the people with brown eyes can see the rose logo. *checks sheets* Wait, never mind, Moonlight has violet eyes. There might be something else, though.

Also, I ask Summer what she did to turn off the light and try to get it back on again.

I follow Summer up to the block and draw my knife in case she needs protection. Because, you know, random glowing blocks are probably going to be dangerous.

I point out which block is glowing and look around to see if I can see anything else that could be glowing.

I don't honestly know what to do, so I just sit and watch, thinking about the situation and what could be happening.

I will follow the group surrounding the glowing rube. I will be prepared for anything to happen if something happens when we touch the rune.
