hey guys! We haven't had one of these in a while, and i thought it'd be fun to bring them back! And if you don't know how it works already, basically, the judge(me, for this round) comes up with a theme and a date for them to be due. Then the judge well, judges the drawings and the winner becomes the new judge! And I don't think there are any rules other than nothing inapropriate and stick to the theme, Lmk if there are others!
and without further ado, the first theme is, drum roll please, Journey! Judging will be february 5! I'm super excited to see your pictures!

Ok, time to judge!
3rd place: Alex!! Your drawing is so cute and relatable. This morning I was doing dry land ith my swim team, and it was so hot outside, so I just imagined I was jumping in the pool... I also love the cute little faces! Good job.
2nd place: Agent Winter! I love your drawing and the message that comes with it. That dragon looks great too, I don't know how you did it. ANd you said you didn't like the coloring, but I think it looks great! Well done.
1st place: JAYBELLS! The little girl is super cute, and I love all the bubbles surround her. I love the way you crossed her legs and sketched every line on the dress - the attention to detail is great. I also think the face proportions look pretty good, so good job! And congrats!
Everyone did great, this was so hard to judge. See you all in the next round!

The deadline will be in 2 weeks, so June 16th, and I'll judge on the 17th! I'm looking forward to seeing all of your art!

I have a question. are we allowed to post drawings of earlier themes? Not like, for a contest, but put them here?,
I guess that should be up to Jaybells or Spellbound, but I'd think you should at least label them with the theme you are using. And it would be better if you put them on a general art thread that doesn't have themes.

Oh, that would be interesting, actually, but I wouldn't put them here. I'd put them on the Art Posting Thread, or maybe we could make a new thread for it? Actually, it would be kind of cool to have a thread where we had monthly or weekly prompts, kind of like Inktober. Perhaps I'll start that...
