I am auditioning for Peter Pan and have never been to an audition before! I will be one of about 200 kids auditioning for a thirty-role play. Also I have a monologue that I am supposed to do, but have never done a monologue either. Tips, anyone? Please reply ASAP, the audition is ten days away. (Why didn't I think of writing about this on Cricket earlier?!)

And, as it turns out, only about 70 people auditioned for Peter Pan...Not 200. I can't remember if I really thought that, someone had told me that, or I was just nervous all of a sudden...

Thanks Katherine. :) This was a year ago (wow, only that long) so I've gotten over it. Now I sell scarves in the market in Aladdin. :)

I'm actually auditioning for something soon, too, but it's in a choir. I'm hoping for a solo in a song - or the director may change it to a duet, or a trio. Either way, I'm hoping to sing it, but I'm rather doubtful...

When are you trying out for it? I think it would be fun to sing in a choir. The children's choir in my town is really hard to get into, though--no one ever seems to know when the auditions are, or where they are, or how much it would cost, or anything.

Mine is actually a school choir. The audition is in December, but the exact date is yet to be determind...
