Story-ings!So, I&#39

Story-ings!

So, I'm not really an artist, but I wanted to do picturings, so I thought, well, what if I wrote about a person? I'm not great with endings or keeping things short, so these will be story excerpts. You choose the characters (no more than five) and the basic story, and I write a bit of it. The characters can be your AEs, CAPTCHAs, or just random people/animals.

Okay. So, for each character, fill out this form:

Name:

Nicknames (optional):

Role in the story:

Age:

Gender:

Point of View:

Mother (made up name) (optional):

Father (made up name) (optional):

Legal guardians (made up name) (optional):

Siblings (made up name) (optional):

Appearance:

Personality:

Friends (optional):

Flaws (optional):

Backstory:

Town (optional):

Powers (optional):

Other (optional):

Sorry there's so many spots. You probably won't have to filll out close to all of them, but I tried to make it fit any story.

For the story itself:

Genre:

Basic storyline (optional, I can probably think of something based on your genre. Maybe):

That's all I can think of for now. Tell me if you want one!

Oh, and by the way, I can't write very quickly, so just a pre-warning that you'll probably have to wait at least a day or two for your excerpt.

Could you do the other part of the form? You don't have to if you don't want to, but it helps me figure out what to write about. Thanks!

Emekittycon k, here's your story-ing! I honestly thought I would never do it, but I did! I hope you like it.

"Hey, Pest-Master," I call.

"Just a sec." I swear I can hear Em's eye-roll as she responds.

Just like usual, Em's draped across the couch, watching videos on her phone.

"Aww," she sighs, "Come look at this, Bradley. He's so adorable!"

I don't really want to see another mundane cat video, but I need to be on her good side for this, so I grudgingly watch a white kitten mewl and roll onto it's back.

"Bradley, can we adopt him?" Em gives me her best puppy dog eyes.

"You would have to ask Mom and Dad about that, but if it were up to me, no. It's probably not even up for adoption. Anyways, come on, Pest-Master, let's go."

"He's not an it," she mutters, but follows me.

We come into our bedroom, and I sit down at my desk. She flops onto her bed.

"So," I start, drumming my fingers on the wood. I want to do this, but then again, I really don't.

"What is it?" Em asks, narrowing her eyes. I hardly ever get nervous.

"I'm - " My voice breaks. "I'm a were-wolf."

Hehehehe. You don't get to see Em's reaction. Partly cause I don't know what it would be, but still.

I am aware that I am over a year late and I just posted a reboot thread, but your character was really interesting and I just couldn't resist.

Peregrine walks through the forest she calls home, eyes focusing on the ground beneath her feet. A peregrine falcon perches on her shoulder, head resting against the green hood of her cloak. She pulls the sides of her cloak tighter around her, as if it were cold, even though it's hot and muggy and phantom flames chase down her back. Her eyes are dark and solemn, watching the damp moss and underbrush.

The forest smells like smoke, though the firefighters put out the fire over an hour ago. The fire that started in her clearing. She can't help but wonder if it was her fault. She distinctly remembers dousing this morning's campfire, but even so . . .

She stretches her arms out and the falcon, Starflight, squaks and flaps away. She closes her eyes and focuses, and slowly and then all of a sudden her body morphs into a bird not too different from Starflight. Her clothes fall into a pile on the forest floor and she scoops them up into her talons, wings lifting her higher from the ground. The girl-turned-bird smiles, as much as a bird can, freeing her worries from her mind as she flies. She can find a new home, same as she has before. The fire wasn't too big - Starflight can gather the animals whose homes were lost in the fire, and they can star with her.

Later that night, if you were walking in the forest and thought to investigate the glow of a campfire in the distance, you'd find a girl with ice blue eyes and a herd of mismatched animals all laughing togethe. If you stayed long enough, you might see the girls eyes switch to earth-green, then maybe sunset orange. Then, thinking your eyes were playing tricks on you, you'd continue to walk on.

This is so beautiful.  I thank you.  I love how the story carries me from blame to acceptance and renewal.  That's my favorite part, but I really like the ending.  It fades away like movies do at a peaceful end.  Again, thank you!
