You are in your favorite armchair, reading your favorite book, when an owl smashes into the window. You rush over and open the glass window, only to see a bundle of feathers and a letter. You reach for the letter, and rip it open. It reads.
“Dear CBer,
How would you like a lovely vacation on a cruise ship? Everything is free, and you may bring up to two AEs or CAPTCHAs, or a mix. If you wish to join, pick up a feather and it will transport you to the dock. This will start either when 20 CBers join, or on November 1st. If you wish to attend, please fill out this form for AEs, CBers, and CAPTCHAs.

How in the world did you know that opals are my favorite gems? They're so beautiful, and now I'm happy. Also, YAY! I'm so happy there's another part out so quick, I could never keep up with a ski lodge that quickly. Also OH NO! Am I about to die? ):
Ooh, am I allowed to be a "ghost" if I die? I know some ski lodges allow ghosts and others don't, so I wanted to make sure.

“Well, uh, shall we wait for~” started Lumi. Suddenly, Captain Arianna appeared again. “Hello CBers, CAPTCHA, and AE!” she spoke. “After breakfast, we have several choices on what we can do! First finish your breakfast, then I’ll show you the list!” Lumi re-started her sentence. “Well, PygmyOwl wasn’t feeling very well, so should we wait for her?” “She probably won’t be coming down, then. I’ll see to it that breakfast is carried up to her.” Captain Arianna replied. She snapped her fingers and an owl flew to the table, snatched a plate of food, and flew to the opal room.
When they were done with breakfast, Captain Arianna pinned a list of items. The items were :
Scavenger hunt
Obstacle course
Water balloon fight
Simply relaxing
Searching the cruise ship.
“Oh, uh, can we go check on Pygmy now?” questioned totalnightowl.
The others silently followed totalnightowl up the stairs to the 5th floor.
When they came back, totalnightowl wasn’t with them. PygmyOwl, however, was. She looked much better now.
Lumi frowned and did a head count. She did it again. “Hey, I think totalnightowl is missing.” she commented as she wrote something down.
“Oh...oh no…” started PygmyOwl.
“Wait! We took a bathroom break in the middle, right?” asked Darkling.
“Go-od point.” answered Instinct, scribbling something down.
“Well, let’s check there first!” suggested Rainbow Riot.
The CBers, AE, and CAPTCHA started towards the bathroom, Captain Arianna sitting on a flying carpet. Moondrop looked at her curiously.
Autumn Artist was the first to enter the bathroom. “Nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing.” she answered, brushing her hands as she exited.
“Where else?” mused Moondrop.
“Uh, the closets?” Kaden muttered quietly.
“Then to the closets we go!” yelled Moondrop. Captain Arianna handed them each a map. “I’m sorry, I need to go off on some important business, but I’ll be back soon.” she declared, floating away on the velvet carpet.
Autumn Artist led the way to the first closet. “I’m not looking in there first.” she flatly refused. Finally, after an argument, Darkling swung open the closet. She gasped and almost fainted.
When the others got a look, they saw totalnightowl, blankly staring up at them. Kaden felt for a pulse. “Nothing.” he replied, frantically searching in his science textbook.
Captain Arianna suddenly appeared and pushed her way to the front of the ‘crowd’. She gasped in fright and covered her eyes. “Everyone, to your rooms. This will be taken care of.”
The murderer silently laughed. Oh, it won’t be taken care of, they thought.
Later that evening, Captain Arianna called all of them to the Grand Hall.
“I’m sorry. Your friend, totalnightowl, has been poisoned. There is no other way.”
Then she muttered under her breath, “I KNEW I shouldn’t have put that poison there. But then again, it was just once…”

That's fine, Captain Arianna! This chapter was really good, probably my favorite so far. Also, since you're Nightfall, you're doing NaNo, right? How are you managing both of those on top of school? You're incredible.
Also, if I'm not dead, I'm probably the murderer. I suspect myself most heartily.

No, you're not dead. And perhaps you are the murderer. I shall not reveal it.
Um let's see here...I'm only in 5th grade, but I'm in a very competitive school, thank you very much, so yeah. I finish my schoolwork in self-studies and lunch break, then go on to piano and everything in the afternoon, and then I'm done. How amazing. XD
