I finally finally saw it today! It was good! Except for a few things that I'll come back and complain about later, since my brothers want the computer.

HP6 is still in theatres? Cool! I've already seen it twice though. I don't want to watch it so much that I get bored of it, because it's so good! I may have already asked this somewhere else, but who's your fav character, Brynne?

Well, it was in the cheap theater. :/ Through a series of unfortunate circumstances, I hadn't seen it until then. Do you mean my favorite character in the books or in the movies?

What was with the whole Lily fish thing, and then one day *poof* it was gone, and it was the day she was dead. That part was really random! And I think they should have not done the blowing up the Burrow sequence, they should have spent more time on the Death Eater invasion in the end instead.

I'd really like to discuss this some more with someone, since I saw it so late.

Feel free to Brynne! I LOVE discussing Harry Potter with people. My mama says I live at Hogwarts 24/7. I personally kinda liked the fish-water-Lily part. I thought the Burrow burning was pretty, well, a waste of time really. But at least Tonks and Remus were in it! ;) And with fav characters, you can answer for book fav and movie fav characters. (does that make sense?)

Oh, yeah, the fish Lily thing was cool, it was just really random! I would live at Hogwarts 24/7, but I don't think the rest of my family would appreciate it very much. :) And I'm the only one of my friends who has read it, so I can't do that with them either. (That's why I like discussing it on here so much!)

Hmm...My favorite book characters are Fred 'n' George (but who doesn't like them:), Professor McGonagall, Lupin <3, Dumbledore, and Luna Lovegood. Oh, Hagrid's not bad.

Movie favorites: Snape (I don't know why, he's just so cool in the movies with that voice and everything), Lockhart, Luna Lovegood, Slughorn, and sort of Hermione.

My mom (big fan) thinks Kenneth Branagh (Lockhart) is really handsome, and so when we were re-watching the second movie, she kept going, "Isn't he just so cute!" in this really fake, girly-girl voice, and then she would look at my sister and me and start laughing.

Who do you like? Besides Luna and Tonks, I mean! :)

I don't have many friends who have read HP either. Only one, and she is into other books more. I really like Remus Lupin. And if you haven't heard it from me before- Werewolves are Aaaaawwwweeesssooommmeee. And I agree, who doesn't like Fred and George, especially after that awesome exit from the school with the fireworks and everything in HP5.

Which is your fav HP book?

Fav HP movie?

Fav HP soundtrack? (if you have any)

Fav house?

Do you know the Hogwarts theme song?

Finally I'm able to talk to someone about Harry Potter like this without them going "Ginny Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Ginny Weasley, isn't Ginny Weasley awesome?" Ok, ok, I over exaggreated. But my sister is always doting on Ginny, and trying to find reasons why Luna is "wierd." Well anyway.

P.S. Is the <3 supposed to be a heart? Sorry, I'm still learning all this computer talk.

Brynne, where are you?

Maybe she's been mindwashed by aliens and is hanging out on some distant planet!:)

Sorry, I went to Illinois on short notice for 4 days. And I was a bit busy before that--but I'm back now!

You went to Illinois? Awesome! A lot of our relatives live in Illinois. Did you drive there are take a plane? What did you do there? Have you heard of the Corn Fest they have there? I went to it last year. There were these laundry baskets they had on long tables filled with corn-for free! It was funny because they had little baskets of floss set on the tables. They were free too! Hurrah for freebies!

We drove. It was about a nine hour drive, but it took us ten hours because with 7 people we stopped so much! Where in Illinois do your relatives live (general area)? The cousins we went to see live in far south Illinios. I've heard of the Corn Fest, but never been. I like freebies, too! And samples--especially the ones that come taped to the back of coupons/catalogs sometimes that are lotion or something.

Random Harry Potter thought: In the movies, Dobby's ears are really cool. They flap gently around when he moves and stuff!

I have to go. :) :(

They live pretty far up north in Illinois. When we drive up there it takes us about 14 hours! So 9 hours sounds like a nice little trip to me. ;) Today me and my family went to this 1850's replicated village in Georgia. It was cool. We were even able to go inside of most of the houses. And we also saw a blacksmith, he was making mini horse shoes, he said he would give it to anyone who could bend a piece of steel he handed out. Well of course no one bent it so whoever guessed the right number got it. I didn't. Well anyway we tasted homemade corn bread and cane sugar. I liked the corn bread, but the cane sugar was a bit too sweet for me.

I'm surprised how real Dobby still looks! I would think that he would start looking unrealistic, but he doesn't. It's like.... magic!

Random HP thought: All the jackets and sweaters the cast where in the movies are SO CUTE! British sure know how to make their sweaters.

Wow, I'm looking at this thread again after an absence (sorry:) and realized I never answered any of your questions in that one post up there. Know which one I'm talking about? So, since I love answering questions and quizzes (as long as they're not too lengthy) I'll answer them now!

Fav book: Prisoner of Azkaban--A lot of people seem to like this one, I wonder why?

Soundtrack: So far the only one I've listened to is the one from Chamber of Secrets. After a while all the songs start to sound the same. I taught myself how to play the beginning of the HP movie theme on the keyboard, though! It sounds cool because you know how at the beginning of the movies it always sounds kind of like dings? (I can't think of a better word!) There's a setting on our keyboard that sounds just like that!

Movie: I'm not sure...I really liked the fourth one when I saw it, but I haven't in a while. The second one was good, too, but it's funny because that's my least favorite book!

House: Ravenclaw seems cool, and Gryffindor is, also (of course)

Do I know the Hogwarts Theme Song? Yeah, mostly...My sister and I tried singing it to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but got lost pretty quick.

Random Harry Potter thought: Is it just me, or is Sirius a little bit of an arrogant jerk? (No offence if it turns out it's just me!)

My sister and I like to sing the Hogwart's theme song, and we even made little dance moves to go with it!

Hogwarts, Hogwarts Hoggy Hoogy Hogwarts teach us (point to head) something please (hold out hands like pleading to someone) whether we be old (bring fingers down chin to indicate beard) or young (jump up and smile) with scabby knees (put hands on knees) teach us something worth knowing (Point to head again) bring back (fan hands towards self) what we've forgot (Put hands up like you are confused) our heads are filled with sawdust (move hand back and forth like sawing something) and bits of old fluff (flick fingers in air).

That's all we've got so far. We also made a dance to go with That Snakey Snakey song in HP6 book:

Hissy hissy little snakey slither (wiggle arms upward) on the floor (point to floor) you (point) be good to Morfin (point to self) or he'll nail (make nailing movement) to the door (Jump apart with hands in the air).

Random HP thought:

Luna's dress in HP6 was AWESOME. But what if she fell on the ground when she was wearing those earrings? That wouldn't be good at all.

I'm auditioning for Aladdin on Tuesday, and we have to do monologues. Mine is from the Deathly Hallows, in the Pensieve when Lily is talking to Snape about "Mulciber! What do you see in him, Sev, he's creepy!" I'm Lily. :) I had to edit it slightly so it was more of a monologue and less of a conversation. Would you like to see it?

That's awesome Brynne! Hope you get the part! Sure, you can "show me" your monologue:)
