(Hi, Brynne!) We went to a store a few days ago and we got this different Halloween stuff for really great prices. There was this lantern that looks just like the lanterns they use in Harry Potter! We also got some rats! (Fake of course)

Random Harry Potter thought:

When I think of werewolves I think of them turning into a wolf, not like the one Lupin turned into in HP3.

ME TOO! They did it all wrong in the movie, it was suposed to look like a wolf.

And I'm supposed to be doing school, I might be back later. :/

Here's my monologue. It's a lot better when I'm acting it in person, but oh well... :)

"We are friends, Sev, we are, but I really don't like some of the people you're hanging around with! I'm sorry, but I detest Avery and Mulicber. Mulciber! What do you see in him, Sev, he's creepy! Do you know what he tried to do to one of the younger kids the other day?

It was not funny, it was not a laugh! It was Dark Magic! If you think that's funny, Sev, something's gotta be wrong with you! (At this point I turn around and start walking away.)

(Here I whip back around) James Potter's got nothing to do with this, leave him alone! I don't care if he fancies me! Stop it! At least he doesn't go around trying to curse little kids in the corridors like you and your friends do! Mulciber and Avery's idea of humor is just evil. Evil, Sev!

I don't get it--do you want to get all twisted like they are?"

It's cool when I do the whipping around thing because my hair flies out and I look really mad. :D

Only 3 more days till the audition! I'm excited even if I don't make the cast, though, because if I don't get a part, I get to help with the costumes. That sounds like almost as much fun as acting to me. :)

Random Harry Potter thought: JK Rowling alliterated a lot of the names.

That's awesome Brynne! Really awesome! I used to do acting. But I didn't have to audition or anything because it was a class and we were each given specific pieces. The first year I did a monologue about being afraid that I wouldn't get a part in a play, in the same recital I played a part in a play, that was really fun. The half year after that I did a monologue about not wanting to be all clean, and I also had to do a mime about being thirsty in a desert. The second year I did a monologue from the Princess Diaries, and also I had to sortof welcome everyone to the recital, I was scared to death! And at the end of the recital we all did this kindof dance to the music of Pirates of the Caribbean. That was awesome.

Helping with costumes? Cool. I'd like to do that. But when you say helping with costumes, do you mean designing them and sewing?

When you say J.K.Rowling alliterates alot of names, do you mean that alot of the character's names start with "H"? Like Harry, Hermione, Horace, Hungarian Horntail, Hannah, Hinkypunks, Hippogriffs.

Random HP thought:

I STILL can't believe that in HP6 they didn't show Bill OR Charlie! I thought they would have to at least show Bill and Fleur, because they're getting MARRIED in the next movie! *Sigh* But I'm sure they're going to show someone's wedding because my sister looked up "pictures from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and she found a picture with the trio running with dress clothes on, and the caption said something like "Harry, Ron and Hermione running after the wedding."

Ok, that was a long thought......

I really don't have time right now, but The Audition is today! Whoopee! I'm really excited! I'll let you know how it goes! I'll get back about the rest of the HP stuff tomorrow, probably. Now I have to finish school so I can eat lunch so I can got to Enrichment art class so I can go to the audition! That was longer than I intended! Bye! :D :D :D

Today I got a notice that said I am supposed to come to callbacks this afternoon at 4:00. That pretty much means I'm in! Actually, it should mean that I'm in, but they don't know who to cast me as. Unless they're doing something different... But anyway, yeah! And my monologue went great, it was really fun, and I didn't mess up at all! The only thing I could have done better (I think) was when I start walking away from Sev and then whip back around really fast and yell (well, not quite) that James Potter has nothing to do with this. I turned around, and then suddenly realized how far back on the stage I was going to be if I walked back as far as I planned, so I turned around again a lot sooner than I originally intended. But I think for once I actually liked how I acted! I'm still excited, I wonder what callbacks will be like. I've never been to one before. I've always either been cast or not cast without callbacks. Sorry, this is getting really long. I'll go. I might get a chance to be back later.

:D Yay!

Oh, and I thought you would think this is cool: My sister and I have been playing Harry Potter chess by putting little pieces of paper with names on the square behind the piece. Then we move the paper with the piece so that we can keep track of where our people are. We switch off being the good or bad sides, black being bad, white being good. On the good side, Dumbledore's the king and Harry is the queen. On the bad side Voldemort (duh) is the king, and Bellatrix is the queen. One of our black pawns has a chip out of it, and we like to make that one Draco Malfoy. The only thing is, there's a Snape on both sides. KInd of interesting when he takes himself out.

Do you know how to play chess?

Cool! (On most likely making the cast and the chess part). It doesn't sound like you have stage fright. You're lucky. I get REALLY nervous and feel nauseous, and my tongue feels all weird and my hands get sweaty and well, you get the picture. The first time I did a play I was more excited than nervous, but after that I've had BAD stage fright. Weird. And this winter there's this get together for everybody who takes voice and/or piano at our cultural arts center and everyone has been asked to share a piano and/or voice song! And I take piano AND voice and I have been asked to do one of each! I've got my piano song figured out: Deck the Halls. But not my voice. I'm nervous already!

Oh, and I do know how to play chess. But I haven't played in a while.... I used to be pretty good, but the last time I played I was pretty awful.

Random Harry Potter thought:

The name Sanguini came from various Latin words meaning blood, bloody, red in color, etc.

P.S. Did you try out for any particular character in the play?

P.P.S. You may want to go onto the Harry Potter website sometime, you can play a demo from the Harry Potter video game!

Yay! I have been cast as "A citizen of Shamar" (the town where Aladdin etc. live). It will sound much more interesting once I find out what my name is and stuff.

Thank you, thank you! *bows* Wednesday we learn the dance thing that the citizens do in the beginning. It's not really a dance, it's more fo a series of movements, if you know what I mean?

Sadly, I am not allowed to go on that website. I would if I was allowed, though!

Did you know the stunt double for Daniel Radcliffe got seriously injured while rehearsing some explosion scene for HP7 and is now paralyzed from the waist down? You might have heard, I think it was a while ago. If you do know, when did that happen?

Coooolllaaiidd, Brynne! When is the performance/recital going to be, if you know yet?

I don't mean to be nosy, but why aren't you allowed to go onto the Harry Potter website? No, I didn't know that about the stunt double! That's awful! But I don't understand at all why someone would want to be a stunt double in the first place.

My sister's and my piano/voice recital is next Monday. Anyway, I'm playing Deck the Hall and singing For as Long as I Have Music. I'm SOOOOOOOOO nervous. Help me pleeeaaaassseee. I don't want to perform.

Random Harry Potter thought:

In the book Tonks's hair is bubblegum pink, but in the movie Tonks's hair is light purple. Was it too much for them to get a pink wig?
