You're tucked deep under your covers. Branches scrape your window. The clock reads: 6:00am. Little do you expect that soon you will be awakened...
There is a slithering noise and something cold brushes your hand. You jerk awake and stare, frozen, at the long, smooth body that is coiled around your hand.
A snake.
Your mind goes blank. You can't remember what to do when a snake is threatening you. But wait. This snake is carrying something, which it drops gently on yur blanket before slithering away, out a crack in the floor and into the dawn air.
You slowly pick up the thing it dropped. It's a gem, but when you twist it it pops open. there's a little note inside. You unroll it. It reads:
Dear CBer,
You are invited to spend the month in the Sundarbans, a mangorve-filled, fascinating jungle with many creatures to observe--such as tigers, dolphins, and monkeys. There is danger too, of course, but not if you know the places to avoid.

Appearance: Brown hair. Brown eyes. Brown-cream skin. We may as well call me Brownie.
Personality: Calm, gentle, sweet, compassionate (Adds about a thousand more non-murderouds qualities)
Luggage: T-shirts, jeans, cute little black shorts, long-sleeved shirts, pajamas, and SOCKS
Greatest fear: Ummmm...idk? Like...maybe fire. I'm scared of fire. I guess. Ok.

Name: pangolin (capitalize the P if you so desire)
Age: 12 1/2
Pronouns: she/they or fae/faer
Appearance: I am slightly taller than average and slender, with a fairly feminine appearance. Wavy copper hair reaches just past my shoulder blades. I have tanned skin and freckles, and a straight nose slightly tipped at the end. My eyes can subtly change color, merging from one color to the next over the course of a few days. For this I will be wearing a black long-sleeved ribbed top, rust-colored corduroy pants, and black high top converse.
Personality: I am thoughtful, logical, and quiet, and a self-declared nerd. I am socially awkward, weird, and, admittedly, a bit eccentric. I am an outcast, and am often alone, but rarely lonely. I am often found daydreaming about going on an adventure, writing, drawing, reading, or spending way too much time on school assignments. I am adventurous, mischievous at times, creative, quick-witted, and have a slightly dark sense of humor.
Luggage: Necessities, my sketchbook, pencils & pens, a stack of books, a journal, a short sword with Celtic engravings, a dagger, and a bow and poison-tipped arrows.

Appearance: I'm a medium-sized long-haired cat, and I have beautiful ginger fur with light orange stripes on my tail. My eyes are green and are flecked with gold. Also, I have claws. And teeth. You don't want to mess with me.
Personality: I'll do this. She's self-important, antisocial, doesn't want to be around other people, likes very few people, lazy, thinks she's better than everyone else - I AM better than everyone else - and she's secretly afraid of a lot of stuff.
Luggage: ...myself. that's plenty.
Greatest fear: nothing. That's a lie. She's terrified of heights, water, fire, the wilderness-- *claps hand over mouth* shshshsh
Other: I am not a CAPTCHA the proper terminology is Alter Pet Ego (APE and no I am not a primate either) and if you call me a CAPTCHA just because I'm a cat I swear-- Aaand I'm going to cut you off there, Koi. Also, I totally understand if you don't want to include Koi in your ski lodge, because she's a cat, and if so, I'm fine with only Lore attending. :) wait WHAT who wouldn't want me to attend--

I most often appear as a slightly-shorter-than-average person with caramel skin and large, dark brown wings, intense blue-gray eyes, and long, wild black hair. In this form, I'll often wear a long purple cloak with glowing silver constellations.>
Personality: <I'm very adventurous, excitable, and enthusiastic. According to pangolin, though, I can be childish, disruptive, and indecisive at times. I'm very spontaneous and impulsive, and a liiiiitle chaotic but it's probably fine.>
