It's been a while since we've had one of these! I wanted to make a new one because it's almost my 2nd CBversary and Sparkle Moon's DTYS thread was the first thing I ever posted on. mEmOrIeS
Basically how it works is that one person posts one of their drawings and the participants all replicate it in their own style. The original person chooses a deadline and after that date decides on a winner (not necessarily based on "skill".) The winner gets to draw the next prompt, etc.
I'll post a drawing when this thread goes up. I hope people join! :)

Whoops, looks like I forgot to add a deadline xD Thanks Jwyn! (Turns out I'm bad at making threads like this. It's FiNe) OK, the deadline is July 7, so 2 weeks from the original post. I love all of your entries so far!! It's going to be hard to choose one!

It's judging day! It was hard to choose a winner, I really liked all of your drawings.
Winner: Jwyn. I loved your interpretation! The sun rays coming out of the skirt and the sky are a really cool addition. I also love the peaceful, determined expression on the face. The whole thing looks so powerful!
Honorable mention (no particular order)
LunaWolf, I loved the way you drew the face. She looks very brave, and the way you changed the angle makes her look into the distance. I wonder what she's looking at...
Sterling, I really like the colors you chose! They make the whole thing look kind of darker and more mysterious. The hair also looks really cool and flowy. Honestly I really love your art style :)
pangolin, I think the addition of the phases of the moon above her head looks really cool. She looks a lot more peaceful in your drawing. The coloring is really nice and smooth, especially with the ombre in the hair.

I love your drawing, Jwyn! The pose is super good. Here's mine (even though I probably shouldn't win since I just did one). I thought the hair looked kinda old fashioned so I started looking up styles of curls during the 1900s and ended up making the whole thing 40s themed. So it's a bit different.
