Actors in Twilight...
This isn't a thread about whether or not you like Twilight, it's about the actors in New Moon and Twilight. (I'm just doing the main actors, but you guys can talk about whichever ones you want.)
So... Here goes.
Rob Pattinson/ Edward Cullen: Pretty good... I think he does a nice job playing Edward.
Kristen Stewart/ Bella Swan: Horrible!! I really really dislike her playing Bella. She just doesn't have the right... umm.... I don't know! The right feel, I guess. Really wish Ashley Greene (Alice) would have gotten the part! She would have played it way better (she originally auditioned for Bella).
Taylor Lautner/ Jacob Black: <3 <3 <3 He wasn't amazing in the first one, but I still really like him, and, from what I've seen (In previews, so far. I'm going to see New Moon this afternoon) he's a lot better in New Moon.
Ashley Greene/ Alice Cullen: She's a great Alice! Still wish she'd gotten Bella! Really like her!
Jackson Rathbone/ Jasper Cullen: Pretty good. He's a nice Jasper, but I think he kinda over-does the "in pain because he wants to eat all the humans" look.
Nikki Reed/ Rosalie Cullen: She's a good Rosalie. I like her.
Kellen Lutz/ Emmet Cullen: Really like him. He's a good Emmet!
Peter Facinelli/ Carlisle Cullen: He's a good Carlisle, but I hate the super-fake blond hair!
Elizabeth Reaser/ Esme Cullen: She does a good job of playing Esme.

Ok so i haven't seen New Moon yet (my friend talked me into going with her tonight....I can't believe it...) so I guess I'll base it on Twilight and New Moon trailers.
Rob Pattinson/ Edward Cullen: All right, I pictured Edward differently. He was a great Cedric though!
Kristen Stewart/ Bella Swan: I don't think Stewart did the greatest job. Too flat...
Taylor Lautner/ Jacob Black: Ok, I admit he is a good actor. I think he fit the part of Jacob really well.
Ashley Greene/ Alice Cullen: Great! Alice was just like I thought of her!
Jackson Rathbone/ Jasper Cullen: All right...
Nikki Reed/ Rosalie Cullen: Yes, good. She had the 'I really hate you, Bella' thing going.
Kellen Lutz/ Emmet Cullen: Pretty good.
Peter Facinelli/ Carlisle Cullen: Great job at Carlisle.
Elizabeth Reaser/ Esme Cullen: Very motherlike, well done.
I might ad more after I see New Moon tonight.

A further note, pertaining in this case to the villains and to Charlie:
1. Cam Gigandet/James: He and Mr. Burke were by far the best actors in Twilight; additionally he is, with the exception of JCB, the best-looking actor in the franchise so far. Pity he got his head ripped off in the end.
2. Rachelle Lefevre/Victoria: Not so much in Twilight; it didn't help that she only had one line and her hair was a stupid blondish colour that was a far cry from the oh-so-wonderful "flaming red hair" that she had in the books. Because redheads are always awesome, you see. However, in New Moon both of these issues were solved; her hair was *this close* to Does Not Occur In Nature, and despite having no lines that I can remember, she managed to be awesome all the same. I mean, she literally scared a guy to death; the only other character I know of of that caliber is Lord Vetinari. I was SO EXCITED to see her in Eclipse, but then they went and RECAST her. YES, this is a very SORE ISSUE with me, I was actually /looking forward/ to the next movie because of her.
3. Jamie Campbell Bower/Caius: He had one line, and maybe five minutes total screentime. I don't care. He was still one of the highlights of New Moon, and the only fake blonde in the franchise to actually pull it off with some dignity.
4. Michael Sheen/Aro: Has a really, REALLY creepy laugh. And I can totally believe he willingly killed his own sister; I had difficulties believing it in the books. Perhaps a bit on the campy side though.
5. Christopher Heyerdahl/Marcus: NO. He was TOTALLY WRONG for the part. I HATE HIM.
6. Dakota Fanning/Jane: Creepy. Soooooo creepy. An excellent However, I am obliged to hate the character at least a little (even with the points for torturing Eddie) because she is a LAME ripoff of Bella. Lestrange, that is, of course. Heh.
7. Billy Burke/Charlie: Hilarious in Twilight; realistic and relatively believable in New Moon. A definite improvement on the book version. I'll be interested to see how he handles the news that Jake forced Bella to kiss him and that she broke her hand when she hit him to get him off; in the books his response was sickening at best, hopefully it will get altered a tad.

Bella- Great, bad bodylike figure (too pale)
Other Cullens- pretty good (esp. Alice!)
