Don't. Especially if you are a fan of the book Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.

@ Brynne, I saw the Secret of NIMH. It had the following errrors:

* Not at all like the book.

* Her name is Mrs. Brisby instead of Mrs. Frisby.

* There is a CURSE WORD in it, and it is rated G. *Tsks*

* Creepy.

* Hard to understand.

* Overall, an epic fail.

I hate any movie that destroys a book whether the book is good or not!  So basically Eragon, the Spiderwick chronicles, Eragon, the jungle book 2.  I also hate really girly movies like Cinderella, Snow white, well you know.

Cheers

How in the world can you say HP4 stunk?

Flushed away- eww.

Shrek I actually enjoyed.

Inkheart- good book -stupid movie.

Napolean Dynamite- hilarious but pointless. And yet, it doesn't stray from reality as some better movies do.. he cannot pass for a teenager!

Snow White- sooo stpuid- she  don't even know da guy! wht kind of message is that sending *coughs* overreacted.

Jungle Book 2- not great.

The dark knight- sooooooo booorrred and soooo cooonfused.

GoF WAS a terrible movie. The worst of the lot, I think.

And I really, REALLY hated the person they got for Voldy. For one thing (and I know this is a stupid argument, but it bugged me) he wasn't anywhere near tall enough.

@Katie: They left out a lot of things from the book. Like Myrtle was supposed to see Harry in the lake in the second challenge, and Dobby was supposed to give Harry the gillyweed, not Neville. Has anyone noticed that they have given two of Dobby's parts to Neville? Like the one I just mentioned, and then in the fifth when he found the room of requirement.

And then I just felt like the scenes just sorta skipped around a lot.

Well anywho, I remembered another movie that I didn't enjoy, Alvin and the Chipmunks. Does anyone know that they're coming out with a "sqeekquil" to it? My youngest sister found the soundtrack on the internet today, and some of the songs they re-did made me laugh! Like there's "Gotta Feeling" and "Hot'N Cold" "No one" and that one where there's the line "You shoulda put a ring on it".

Happy Feet is most definitely not a bad movie. It has a very strong and true message about Global Warming, and also, tap dancing is amazing, and so are penguins, and the two mixed together make an awesome movie. I didn't mind Bedtime Stories, and I adore Napoleon Dynamite. I liked The Tale Of Desperaux, I hated Twilight, and I love A Christmas Story, though my crazy brother hates it. I didn't like Marley and Me much for some reason. I just don't really like Jennifer Anniston for some odd reason...hmm..

I thought Happy Feet was cute, but not outstanding.

I haven't seen GoF, so I can't judge.

 Twilight... I watched that movie, and figured that they must have mangled the book somewhat because it didn't make that much sense. So I went and read the book and found out that actually they didn't mangle it all that much, which kinda turned me off on the whole series. I'm not the kind of person who goes off into squee-fests over hot characters/actors anyway, which seems to be the biggest attraction of Twilight.

I know I've said all that before, and also complained about how horribly they mangled Ella Enchanted when they made it into a movie, so I won't go into that.

I wasn't crazy about Finding Nemo. It was good, but... fish. And the plot was kinda boring, too.

Little Mermaid 2 might have been good if they'd spun it a little differently, but I got the feeling that Disney was using it to say "Obey your parents" to make up for the original. And, nothing against parents, but I don't like to be preached to by movies.

Another one on my least-favorite list is Aladdin. Aladdin is basically just a bum (albeit a good-hearted bum) who lucked out. Jasmine has her cool moments, but not all that many. Jafar is pointlessly evil, and the parrot should have repented and decided not to follow his master's evil ways anymore, or at least shown some sign of a conscience, to make up for Jafar's gratuitous evilness. Oh, and the king is stupid and spineless until the exact moment when it's particularly convenient to the characters for him to be otherwise. The animation is OK, but not stellar. I have to say, the genie and "A Whole New World" make up for some of this, but still.

Oh, maybe I need to rewatch GoF then. I saw it for the first time a few months ago and thought it followed the book pretty well, with the exception of cutting the Quidditch World Cup and Myrtle's behavior towards Harry in the bathroom. But I don't remember a lot of it.

Bedtime Stories: ehhh, I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it...  Happy Feet: loved the animation, but the story line was rather lame (I pretty much just watch it so I can see the scene where Mumble goes, "My feet are happy"...).  The Tale of Desperaux: liked the book, not the movie.  The Little Mermaid 2: dunno, never saw it.  Cinderella 2 & 3: again, I never saw it.  Napoleon Dynamite: HAHAHAHAHA, sorry, but I love that movie!  Most quotable movie EVER!  His uncle's kinda a creep, though...  Inkheart: never saw it.  Flushed Away: ewww, never saw it and don't want to! :P

Oh, and, to whoever here was dissing The Christmas Story, it's the best Christmas movie ever, so be quiet!  Yet another most quotable movie...  Whenever my dad's mad at my brother, I lean over to Clay and moan, "Daddy's gonna kill Ralphy..." :)

I saw Christmas Story when I was five, and hated it.  Never seen it since.  Maybe it was the tongue part, or the mean Santa, don't know, I just remember hating it.  Or maybe the scarf part was it, or all.  Or that blonde guy.  I might like it now, though!  :D
