Countdown to the

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Countdown to the

Countdown to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (HP7)!

54 more days today (Sunday). So I just thought maybe every day until HP7 comes out, everybuggy (well, just everybuggy who's into Harry Potter) can post a favorite Harry Potter related memory in their life, or just talk about what's been going on in your day. So yeah. Hope that made sense.

(There's a new HP7 commercial on the Harry Potter website. It's EPIC.)

Wow. Nice presents. I got a bunch of gift cards for my birthday last year. It was kinda annoying. But, Admin, thanks for the advice about the Butterbeer. I'm glad I know now. That way, when I try it, I won't be so surprised. Hannah, I know what you mean about Dobby. I was soooo sad when he died. Moatly because when you watch the 2nd Harry Potter, it reminds you of how annoyingly awsome he is. ;) Who can guess who said my quote? ((But don't go cheating and look on the page it's on, cuz I want to see if anyone gets it. It's pretty easy though. You get a few clues from the book title, and one of the words in the quote, so, ya.))

The Firebolt's going to be much farther away than the stuff in here, it's going to be in the castle, and I'm going to be out there on the grounds. -Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire page 347

Perhaps...  I've taken several quizzes on the internet, and they all say I'll be in either Slytherin or Ravenclaw.  I don't think I'm clever enough to be in Ravenclaw though, haha, so I suppose I'd have to be in Slytherin.

"'My mum always said, the things we lose have a way of coming back to us... if not always in the way we expect.' You should know who this is quoted from.. guess!"  My friend posted that on my other friend's Facebook wall, and as soon as I saw it, I started shouting at the computer, "LUNA!!!  LUNA SAID THAT!"  And then I felt stupid for yelling at the computer. :)

Oh my.  Why is the text all big and red and Time New Roman-ish?  Ew.

I don't know!

That was, er, an interesting post. Admin, are you sure you don't know? I almost did something like that. It was the exact same as Kenzie's, but it wasn't red. I x'ed out though, and then I went back onto Cricket and re-did the post. But it ended up working out for me.

((Answer to my last quote: Harry Potter!))

Yes, I'm sure. l just know how to review and post comments. I was under the impression that, no matter what color or font is used to send a comment, they all post in the same size black type. But somehow, I see, Kenzies's post is red! Beats me. (But our Webmaster may know about it.)

@AnnaJay: I haven't posted in a while either! Whoops! My sisters' dance teacher was saying that HP7 isn't coming out til' the 20th of November, but she says a lot of stuff... *Looks at Harry Potter calendar* It's either 34 more days, or 35.

Yesturday, we watched something called "The Harry Potter Kids". It was on the 'bio' channel... I don't normally watch anything on it, but my mama had recorded it. She also recorded something about how the movies have been made!

Cool, Hannah!

I have a question. Does anyone know what Snape is actually saying in the movie after the "Sectumsempra" incident, when he is healing Draco?

I just Googled it, and he was saying the counter-curse "Vulnera Sanentur".  I actually cried when I read that part in the book.

Harry Potter Lover!!! <3 That's me! I went to Harry Potter camp over the summer, and it was amazing!!!! <3 In cooking we made butterbeer, dragon brownies (that sounds so gross) witches broomsticks, ghost snot, and spiders!

Butterbeer: Ginger Ale

Dragon Brownies: Chocolate Brownies, piled with marshmallows, m&ms, and hot fudge <3

Witches Broomsticks: This weird dough with a sugar glazed thing spread over it

Ghost Snot: Lime Ice Cream and Sprite

Spiders: Nila Wafers with Chocolate Frosting on the bottoms so they stick together, half of those pretzel sticks, and raisins.

We also had some of the normal classes that Harry & Co. had.

Transfiguration: Clay Molding

Reading: We read Harry Potter.

Quizzes: At the end of the day each house would test HP Knowledge.

And some not so normal classes

Drawing: We drew or wrote in these journals.

Poetry: Who could make the best Haiku

Story Making: Serious Writing, the drawing was just for fun

Fun and Games: We had games like,

Dragons Egg: Capture the Flag

Stupefy: If you get a tongue stuck out at you, you're stupefied. If your'e the stupifier and you get caught by the Auror, you're out!

We were all in houses (I was in Slytherin. In camp Slytherin is really nice!)

On the last day of camp, we had the house competition.

Flying (Yes, broomsticks), Haiku, Story, Transfiguration, and Trivia. The house with the most points wins! (Slytherin won. ;)  ) The only problem is that that was the last year, but the good thing is that Slytherin has the house cup forever!!!!

Ah, thank you, Kenzie. That fits. I couldn't find it, for some reason.

Yeah, that part in the book (and really the movie too) are just very.....yeah. You feel differently toward Draco afterwards.
