All right, good. Also, we have very smart guests. They're already planning to decieve us, investigate the dropped lead and use the note to find the secret room. Should we buid an even more complex maze for them to wander through?

What was in the hollow book? Our guests are curious, and while I could probably come up with something, I'm actually pretty terrible at that, and I thought you might have a plan anyway.

I'm starting to feel really bad at this...

Nah, it's fine XD I haven't actually decided yet...

It could be something reasonable, like money, or something incriminating, like meticulously kept death records, or a clue, or it could be a couple of pens. I should be planning ahead better, to be honest. What do you think?

Oh, and there should definitly be a borderline maze hidden in the walls. Mwah ha ha!

It should probably be a clue, although something anticlimactic like pens would be great.

...I meant a metaphorical maze, but sure.

My post ended up being very long...

I found this today (and I quote):

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

Drive like no one knows you have corpses in the trunk.

It reminded me of this.

Yes. It is.

We should probably drop another clue towards Viola? being the murderer, just so her disappearance doesn't seem too out of place. Maybe a shorter disappearance, an implicating something or other... I don't know.

Also, I never finished the conversation between Secret and Rose Bud. We have to write that at some point.

I think I've been up too late--I'm back from my trip, and it's two in the morning there, and I feel like I'm bobbing gently up and down like I'm on a boat. Gotta write, though. Can't miss a day. Got to get this done.

Ideas for a hit list to cover the next few days? I'm thinking one of the boys, all the suspects' roommates, maybe a couple of others. So HAB because he's chill and we should remove calmness, and... oh. That actually only leaves Tuxedo Kitten, since Aspen's our primary candidate and Jwyn is already dead. Ah well, it's two. Let's leave at least some of the ones who haven't been in much yet, like MJ, Allie, Kate, Pooki...

Add Claaws to that list. And I killed HAB, so I guess he's off. Viola? might go on for a little later.

Possible to-do: Give Allie, Kate, Cockleburr, Fireburst and Pooki P importance; clues? Red herrings?

We should probably give Aspen an alibi when the group starts really shrinking down; she doesn't know she's the murderer, but she shouldn't be too easy to guess.

Now that I think about it, I feel like the murderer should probably be me... Does that even make sense? Hmm... I am pleased about luring people into my death trap, and I can't think of a way I would convince Aspen to do it...

It would be a first, as far as I know. We could still make it anyone. Aspen might not be an ideal candidate, really; there's not much in her personality that predisposes her to it. Maybe someone who lost an AE or Captcha to the dragons, although I think almost all of those are dead. Pooki P and Rose Bud might be the only ones left. Pooki's personality description isn't exactly limited...

We could still give you magic. Or, you know, some other influence over the murderer. We haven't really discussed why, in-story, they don't know it's them.

We could make it MJ; she's been accused, openly denied it, has a temper and a friend (Allie) to cover for her (I don't know why I see them as friends, but more and more I imagine them sticking together), and a couple of people do think it's her.

We could also make it Allie because she has MJ to cover her, hasn't been in much and isn't the kind of person you'd expect. Her sheet says she panics in real danger, which could line up with a few murders. But it also says she's not very strong, which directly contradicts a few others. However, we do still have magic as a possible loophole. The Zeamaizock indicates that it's accepted in our story.

We could make it Viola?, but I think it would be much more interesting if she was a red herring, implicated by you and/or the true murderer. Also, I think that if you're not killing everyone, you should definitely be helping whoever is.

We could make it Kate-the-Great. She's strong, resourceful, not squeamish, and hasn't been in the spotlight, but in the ninth day she ran away from the scene before much questioning and got to present whatever version she wanted to the ones still at the ryokan. She can go too far with jokes, although she's also argumentative, which makes it harder for you to help her. She said she's trustworthy, but in-story that could be a lie if it's on our page.

We could make it Cockleburr, lastly, just convince her of a situation in which she should kill everyone and she'll be comfortable with it. We'll be the "people she knows and trusts", making her confident. She's creative, strong and adventurous. This is actually kind of perfect. Creative people are often vulnerable to insanity, and a story where you simply lead her into it is perfect for our setup. No one suspects her. I checked, and we can slot her in as the culprit for every murder. It would also tie into our "loss of sanity" disclaimer in the invitation, making it look like we planned this from the beginning. She's my pick. It works, and it makes a good story.

Also, Jwyn and Fireburst want to know if they can guess us. Should we let them? I'd be fine with it.

Alright! We'll switch it to Cockleburr. And guessing would be totally fine with me, but I don't think we should actually reveal ourselves/ tell them if they're right or not until the ending.

Wait, it was Fireburst who panics in danger and isn't strong, not Allie. Sorry.

More possible ways of dying: Choking, snake or spider bite, axe/sword, oven, shock, terror, pit trap (spikes?).
