JossParticipantHere are the semi popular arsty girls:
Katie: The smart, shy girl of the group. When around other people, she's really shy, but around her friends, she's a daredevil. She's also one of the top students in class, and the smartest one in the group. She also likes singing, it's just hard for her to sing in front of a crowd since she's shy.
Willow: The kind of go-with-the-flow girl who is involved with all the arts. She is sort of the group's spokesperson, and she hates seeing her friends bullied. She's really calm most of the time, and tries to enjoy the simple things in life. She loves all the arts, but espicially drama.
Erin: The independent one of the group. Can be pretty shy and quiet, but a bit more open to her friends. She is a serious person, and usually has a calm mind. She does well in school and is very attentive. She loves art because it is a great way to express the emotions she has bottled up inside her.
I hope that these descriptions are OK with you guys, if you want to change anything, you can.

My homeroom teacher is great. Not the subject she teaches– I hate math– but she's one of the sweetest teachers in the school. She gives me my schedual, and it says:
7:50-9:00: Math9:05-10:15: Science
10:20-10:45: Brunch break
10:50-12:00: Art (my elective)
12:05-12:45: Lunch
12:50-2:00: Gym
12:05-3:15: Language Arts
Not bad.

JossParticipantI organized the Sportsy Boys. If I got anything wrong or if you want to change anything, then please do… Sportsy Boys Popular:
Christoff: The go-with-the-flow guy who's calm, cool, and collected. He is a kind of chill person, and he's really nice, too. And handsome.
Johnston: He's the friendly guy who everyone likes. He's a pretty popular guy who does well in school and in sports. He's nice to everyone, and protective of his sister, or anyone being bullied.
Jamie: The funny guy who makes everyone laugh. He can sometimes be a class clown, and he hangs out with Jak all the time. He's also really nice.
Andy: The ideal popular sportsy boy. Basically that sums it up. He's calm, cool, collected, nice, toughish, cute, handsome, good at sports, ETC.
Jason: The handsome quarterback that everyone has a crush on. He's super cute and handsome and stuff… Sort of go with the flow, laid back, good sport.
I hope nothing's offensive.
And @ Nora, the comment I made about the talent show wasn't supposed to mean that, I just meant it would be cool if Willow and Katie won the talent show, not to get revenge on Briella… At first I didn't even notice the beginning where she was addressing it to you! So, sorry for any misunderstandings…
-
Nora the SingerParticipantOh, it's okay! I was just thinking, you know, since Brielle wins the talent show every year, it'd be cool if Willow and Katie won this year. Not to purposely make Brielle feel bad, but it would be like revenge…in way. If that makes sense? Probably doesn't.
Oh, and by the way, it's Brielle with an e, not Briella. Just so you know! {:
-
JossParticipantOh! I thought you were being sarcastic! Sorry… And sorry I keep spelling your name wrong!
-
Nora the SingerParticipantAwh, you're so sweet! No, I wasn't being sarcastic; I was agreeing with you! Brielle might be my character, but trust me, I hate her guts. I'd love to see her get humiliated in front of the entire school. *rubs hands together evilly*
And don't worry about the spelling thing. I totally get it. Brielle is a super uncommon name!
-
JossParticipantKk that's good… For a second I was nervous.

DanieParticipantMellie~
I blink my eyes opening, groaning slightly. It's 7:30, be- I'm GONNA BE LATE!!! I jump out of bed, sliding toward the closet. Finding the first shirt, I pull it on. Jeans, shoes, breakfast, brush teeth, done. I wave goodbye to mom and rush to the bus.
Vi (Viola. calls her Vi) and Booksy are already there, chatting about school. I sit next to them, slamming my backpack down.
"Heya, Vi, Booksy!" I laugh, fist pumping Viola. "How's life? You doing good?"
"Yup, Mel," Vi replies, poking Booksy. Booksy smiles.
"The popular kids doing anything?" I ask, looking around. The popular boys have picked a sit right next to us, joking and laughing to the strangest jokes. I shake my head at them.
"Nothing much." Booksy sighs. "A girly girl slammed her backpack into my head." I frown.
"Which one? The Bee or The Rhino? (Mellie's name for Brielle and Rianna)" I urge.
"Rhino." Booksy rumages through her backpack.
"What's your first class?" Vi asks.
"Miss Congo. Heard Bee and Kat have that class too," I groan.
"I have Congo to. Let's start making nicknames for this teacher," Booksy chuckles.
-
Booksy OwlyParticipant"Although I actually like Ms. Congo," I add.
Mellie rolls her eyes, "Of course you do. You like all the teachers!"
"Did you get your schedules?" Viola asks.
"Yup." I pull out my schedule, which reads:
7:50: Language Arts (Yay!)
9:05 Math
10:15: Brunch break
10:50: P.E. (Groan)
11:40: Ellective (creative writing) (double yay!)
12:50: Lunch break
1:30: History
2:50 Science

IndigoParticipant~Kat~
I stroll into Science to find that Gigi's already there. I sit down next to her, putting my stuff down. She whispers, "I'm bringing my nail polish collection," which makes me grin. Gigi has hundreds of colors of nail polish and all sorts of brushes. Mr.Ter, a middle-aged man with a balding head, comes walking up to the front and starts droning on about memorizing the periodic table. He choses two kids to pass out a pre test and then retreats to his desk. I pull out my pale pencil bag with love written on it in curly red letters and take out a mechanical pencil. I glance at the first question.
What kind of element is copper?
A) a metal
C) a nonmetal
D) a gas
4) copper isn't an element
I circle A. Gigi subtly passes me a note. I open it up and read: I heard that girl Katie was bothering Bri and Riana. I glance around, then write, What for? Gigi replies, Katie hit Riana in the face with a door and Katie shoved Bri so all her books fell. Something about it seems wrong somehow. Katie seems like a nice enough girl, even though she isn't good enough to be in the Squad. Maybe it was all an accident?
Mr. Ter sees me writing on the note and snatchs it away. "No notes during tests, pretests or otherwise."
-
Nora the SingerParticipant.:Brielle:.
The brunch bell finally rings. Social Studies is over. I breathe a sigh of relief, stuffing my notebook in my book bag and slinging it over my shoulder. Andy joins me by the door with that amazing smile of his.
"Walk you to class? Well, not technically class…it's brunch…but, you know – "
"Sure, I'd love that," I blurt out, to stop him from babbling. His smile widens.
"Cool." Andy's long strides are normally too fast to keep up with, but he slows down for me. We make our way throughout the sea of kids and eventually reach the dining hall.
"Oh – I left my purse in my locker. I'll be right back," I assure Andy, hurrying into the next hall. In my defense, Andy can be very distracting. I mean, have you seen his face?
I'm just passing the girls' room on my way when the door slams right into my face, causing me to stumble backwards and collapse onto the floor.
I shriek, pressing my palm to my throbbing cheek. The pain is unbearable. I narrow my eyes at the culprit. None other than Katie herself. I can actually hear her stifle a laugh. The nerve of her…
"What's wrong with you?" I scream at the top of my lungs, dizziness overwhelming my brain. A crowd begins to circle around me.
"Oh my gosh, what happened?"
"Are you okay?"
"Should I go get the nurse?"
The voices are coming from all different directions, and sound about as loud as gunshots in my head. The worried faces morph into a single blur. I can't think straight.
Soon Nurse Lawrence is arriving at the scene, shining a small flashlight in my eyes and telling me to follow the light. I try my best.
"Looks like a minor concussion," she decides. "Everyone out of the way! Give Brielle some space." A wide path forms for me, and an office assistant provides a wheelchair. Nurse Lawrence hoists me up and lays me down gently. I close my eyes. I must be dreaming. I can feel my eyes rolling around in their sockets.
Then everything goes black.

MEGIGI
As I get ready for algebra, a girl from the Girly Girl unpopular group slides over next to me. "Did you hear what happened to Briella and Rianna?" I shake my head, confused. "No. Did they get in trouble for something?" The girl glances around, leans in close to me, and whispers like she's sharing a big secret: "No, but I heard that Katie slammed Rianna's face into a door, and she pushed Briella so all her books fell. At least, I heard that from Faith, who heard it from Casey, who heard it from Giavanna." My eyes widened. Gossip! Who knew if it was true or not? Who cares? I sort of am addicted to gossiping… My mom treats it like a bad habit, but it's SUPER fun. At science, Kat sits down next to me. I smile as I tell her "I'm bringing my nail polish." She knows it's for the party, it's a thing. I can usually tell what she means all the time, and she can usually tell what I mean all the time. She grins, and that makes me smile. I like making the squad happy. As the tests are passed out, I remember what the girl said to me earlier. I pass a not to Kat.
I heard that Katie was bothering Bri and Riana.
Kat's suprised. She glances around, and passes a note back to me.
What for?
I pass a note back to her.
Katie hit Riana in the face with a door and Katie shoved Bri so all her books fell.
The teacher, Mr.Ter, catches us. "No notes during tests, pre-tests or otherwise." I slouch in my seat and pout. After class, Riana comes up to me. "The school dance is coming up." "How do you know?" "Bri told me." I think about who's going to ask me…
-
Katydid ParticipantKatie~
I sit in the principal's office, staring at the paperwork on his desk rather than at him. "So you say it was an accident?" he asks. I nod. "But let me ask again, why did you kick the door?"
"Well…um I was…angry at..Rianna," I mutter in a quiet whisper. I can feel the vibrations in the floor when he leans in to hear better.
"That sounds like a good reason to attack her friend."
"No!… I um… How would I know she was behind the door?"
He ponders this for a moment. "I suppose you couldn't."
"I-I have to…get to class."
"Well, no more kicking doors and giving people concussions."
I feel all color drain from my face. "She-she got a concussion?"
"Yes, she will be okay though." He pauses. "Why w- Never mind, go eat, Katie."
I hang my head and stand up, then I turn and slowly exit the office. I head toward the dining area, grab my lunch box from my locker, and when I enter get a lot of stares. Some admiring and some scared to death. I sit down next to Willow and set my lunch box down. "Why the long face? You just beat up Brielle."
"Exactly," I mutter. "But I gave her a concussion. There's no telling what she will do to me."
Willow pats me on the shoulder. The only other time we talk is for a little when Erin and Paige come sit with us.
Johnston~
Talking back to Riann is one thing. Brielle is totally different. I have no idea what will happen to my sister, so I'm going to keep an eye and stick close to her. "Johnston!" I turn. Christoff is talking to me.
"Andy says he's got a bone to pick with your sister."
I gulp, "Well then I've got a bone to pick with him." Suddenly I hear a laugh ring out from across the room. It's a beautiful laugh. I look toward its origin, from a beautiful person. Willow. I stare for a moment then snap back to reality. "You guys going to tryout?"
"For what?"
"Going to Washington. Remember? We get to go to a class if we win a tryout. There are ones for dance and art and all sorts of stuff."
"Ah." We finish brunch in silence.

I eat my Eggo waffle as fast as I can. I neeeeed to get to the TV before Jason, because clearly me recording the woman's cup playoffs is much more important than him recording some unimportant football game. I glance up to see him also racing, so I eat faster. Yes! I finish just in time and run to the den, flick on the TV, and find my show. He groans and I smile angeliclly.
"Paige! Time for track!" my mom calls. Now I'm the one groaning.
"Can't I just record this one thing?"
"We have to leave NOW," she insists. "But Jason will do it for you. Won't you?" Jason heaves a tremendous sigh and I hop in the car.
After track, I find Katie and ask who her home room teacher is. Hers is Ms. Congo, which is disappointing, since mine isn't. But at least we might have some classes together. I slide into my seat, and our teacher, an old man, starts passing out protests for the Peridoc Table. I read the first question.
What element is copper?
A. Metal
B. Non-metal
C. (I forgot what C is)
D. Copper isn't an element
I circle A. Easy. Then I read the next question.
What is the abbreviation for gold?
A. Ca
B. Au
C. Go
D. Gd
C or D would make the most sense, but I remember something about gold's abbrivation being weird. Sooo…..maybe B?
"Ladies, no passing notes. Pre-test or otherwise," the teacher says sternly. I glance over at Gigi and Kat, caught in the act with a note on the floor between them. I purposely drop my pencil, mumble an "oops," and pick it up–along with the note. "Katie slammed a door in Brielle's face, and Katie shoved Rialla so she dropped her books." Katie wouldn't do something like that! There' s'more to this story,I know it. Maybe I can find out during brunch break.

KatydidParticipantKatie~
I stick my lunch box back in my locker on the way to P.E. Willow is coming with me. I enter behind her and head to the locker rooms with my gym clothes. I change and grab a plastic water bottle that the teacher offers. She is a short woman with a strong build. She has thick, muscular legs and arms. She has brow hair with a tint of gray (Grey?) pulled back in a ponytail. I quickly pull my hair back and put it in a braid. The teacher, Mrs. Dargason looks at me. "Katie, we will be doing jumps for a few minutes, you can do pull-ups while you are waiting." I nod and head over to the pull-up bar while the others work on jumping stuff. I hear a groan after the few minutes passes and Mrs. Dargason announces we are doing push ups next. I take a drink of water and walk over to the group.
Johnston~
I do the push-ups well, not as well as Andy and Jason, but well enough. Mrs. Dargason takes us through a rigorous and tiring training.

Nora the SingerParticipant.:Brielle:.
My head is pulsing with ache when I emerge from…whatever that darkness was. The voices are gone. The room feels disturbingly vacant. Where am I?
I pry my eyes open. Oh. No. This can't be real.
I'm lying on a small cot, the back of my neck propped up by two pillows. A thick layer of blankets has been draped across my body. I'm wearing this hideous shirt-dress thing with blue and white pinstripes. And to top it all off, there isn't even a freaking doctor around here to tell me WHAT IS GOING ON.
"Help!" I croak, horrified at my own voice. It feels like I've swallowed a mouthful of sand. "Doctor! Nurse, even! Someone? Please?" It's been forever since I've said that pitiful word.
"Ms. Fawn." A man wearing a long white lab coat and a stethescope around his neck sweeps the surrounding curtain to the side and approaches me, clicking a pen and scribbling something onto his clipboard. "Your father is here to see you."
"Brielle, my poor little baby," Dad cries, appearing behind the doctor and racing towards me.
"Dad. Get off," I demand as he throws his arms around my neck and ruffles my hair. He backs away promptly, his hands up in surrender.
"Oh, I don't even care," he goes on, tears welling in his eyes. "You're okay, and that's all that matters."
"My head hurts."
"HER HEAD HURTS!" Dad screeches.
"Sir, if you could – " The doctor gestures towards a chair in the corner of the room. Dad reluctantly sits down.
"All right. Hello, my name is Dr. Foreman and I'm an emergency room specialist. We were informed that Brielle recieved cranial damage this morning at around 10:20; correct?"
"Cranial damage?" I repeat, nonplussed.
"A brain injury," Dr. Foreman clarifies. "In your case, a concussion. You passed out and were unconcious for nearly eight minutes. It's most likely nothing too serious, but most patients tend to wake up in seconds after fainting, so we decided to take a look."
I blink. "What?"
"Let's start small. Can you explain to me what you remember happening from around 10:15 to 10:30 am?"
"I was walking to my locker at school. I passed by the girls' room. Katie Tremmilo kicked the door open so it would hit my face. I fell. I woke up here," I deadpan.
"Uh…who exactly is Katie Tremmilo?" Dr. Foreman's forehead crinkles in perplexity.
"The girl who attacked me, duh. She's out to get me and my friends." I plaster an innocent, sad smile on my face. "But between you and me," I whisper, "I think she has some…you know. Anger issues?"
"I see. And you think she deliberately tried to hurt you?"
"I'm positive," I confirm. "One-hundred percent."
"Thank you, Brielle. I'll deliver this paperwork to the office and send a nurse to check up on you in a little bit." Dr. Foreman rises from his stool and exits the room.
"I'm so sorry, Princess," Dad apologizes profusely as soon as he's gone. "The school board will be hearing of this. I'll see to it that what's-her-face gets expelled."
I gaze at him with puppy dog eyes. "And…and you'll buy me that Forever 21 dress I wanted? From the…m-mall?" I fake-sniffle.
"Of course, sweetheart."
"And, and, and the matching stilettos?" I continue to snivel.
"Sure, honey."
"And I'll probably need to get my hair done, too. At the professional salon, not the cheap kids' one. Plus a manicure to go with it – no, make that a mani-pedi. Okay?" I eye him expectantly.
"Um, well, I don't – "
"Daddyyy," I whine, pretending to choke down a sob.
"Fine!" he gives in. "Anything to make you feel better, darling."
"Good." Just what the doctor ordered.

Paige comes up to me. "Did you hear what everyone is saying about Katie?" She asks. "No… why?" I answer, concerned. "Well they're saying that she slammed a door in Brielle's face and that she knocked Rianna's books out of her hands on purpose." I am shocked, then angry. "That couldn't have actually happened! There has to have been a mistake. Katie would never do anything like that." I'm so angry at whoever spread those lies. My face starts blushing. I march over to Kat, whose standing right there. She's pretty nice, but she does hang out with Brielle and Rianna. "Where's Brielle?" I demand. Kat looks startled. "Um, she's in the nurses office… why?" I pale. No way could Katie have done that! She's too nice… right?
Wait, Paige, are you the former Erin that's in the artsy girl group?
Cappy the captcha says knex. You'll have to wait and see what happens next!

Carolion KParticipantYep, I'm the former Erin. I was originally a semi popular sporty girl, but I kinda transitioned.

Booksy OwlyParticipantI'm going to organise the smart girls:
Emma (Booksy): shy, quiet, bookworm, gets teased a lot, nice, old fashioned. Shyest one in the group.
Mellie: fun, funny, makes up nicknames for everyone, cheers people up, not afraid to stand up for herself and her friends. Kind of the leader of the group.
Viola: independent, stubborn, slightly dark.
The popular girls call these girls the "nerd group". They are opposites, and so they often get into conflict. Is this OK with you guys?

EverywhereErin~
Art is wonderful. The teacher, Mr. Clays, tells us we'll be doing pottery for the next term. We are going to paint all kinds of pottery, and he hinted that we'll probably be going on a few field trips to maybe even make our own! I have to hold myself in really well when he tells us so.
The bell rings, and everyone gets up. I run over to my locker, trying be beat the flood of kids that are heading to lunch- just my luck that my locker had to be in the same corridor. I grab my lunch and drawing kit and shove my way through the crowds to enter the art room.
Willow is already there, unpacking her lunch. I sit down at a seprate table and start eating my lunch- a ham sandwich- while drawing.
Mr. Clays leaves, and Willow looks up. "It's been the talk of the school that Katie attacked Brielle and Rianna."
"What?!" I nearly choke on my sandwich. "I don't think Katie's like that. Either of them."
"Me neither! But I overheard someone saying that she wacked Ria with a door and pushed Bri so all her books fell!"
"Definitely not her. But if she really did it, I'm quite proud. They had it coming." I carefully start sketching out Katie's figures. Then I draw a backround for the bathroom. After a few minutes, it's done. "What do you think of my latest masterpeice?"
It shows Katie glancing the other way (towards the bathroom) and pushing the door open. A comical Rianna is getting wacked in the face by it.Willow chuckles, then stops herself. "Better not let anyone see that."
"I won't." I tuck it into my sketchbook.Christoff~
All of this chaos with Rianna, Katie, and Brielle is driving me crazy. I know that Katie wouldn't do anything like that on purpose, so there must be something behind it besides what's going around. But I'm not sure. -
