Secret*heaves on the rope*
If anyone needs inspiration, I'd love to read an RP about getting kicked off of SailHaven, or what the Powers are doing right now, or even just a moment of rest and reflection. It's fine to write about the same scene a dozen times, too. Different angles on things are interesting.
On an unrelated subject, I'd like to recommend a couple of songs. REVO by Walk Off The Earth is exciting, upbeat rock, and Sorry for not answering the phone, I'm too busy trying to fly away by in love with a ghost is pretty, relaxing and wordless.

Gared ANNOUNCMENT!ParticipantSailHaven is long gone know, so the entire restsitance is off by now.

Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretYes, but that doesn't mean we can't write about the event in more detail.
-
GaredParticipantYou are correct.

SecretWell, this is lovely.
The Resistance is in mourning for shadow and Alexandria while they should be preparing (for) the attack on Jökull. Don't forget, Catastrophe has the Sword. Karune is going to fall into a downward spiral from the loss of her sister, and that will doubtless have large effects. Catastrophe and Jaaws are somewhat well informed, although Catastrophe will surely have lost half his army in the Decoy Forest by now. FAFA and the B.I.G. have not been heard from in a while. The SOCS are probably planning their next move. The Black Skull probably already has a plan. Blazing Star seems to have mysteriously vanished.
I foresee great disaster. Then, possibly not disaster. But first great disaster. Maybe the attack on Jökull will fail, but then we'll find Blazing Star, but then we'll realize that there's still terrible things happening and coming. We'll try and fail a lot during the Power of Fang/Darkness (which one was it again?) and maybe win just enough small or unnoticed things that we can fight our way back up and finally save Kyngdom for good in the Power of Howl. Ooh, maybe the activated Powers can save us in a lost cause and set our priorities back on the animals and the Powers! And then the epilogue can be like Celesti's chapter or something and continue on for however long we make it, and will probably be about growth and rebuilding and everything coming back to the way it was only completely different. Sound good?

Secret… *heaves on the rope*

SecretThe girl walked up to the muddy river's edge, her long brown hair done up in a braid that was in turn pinned up in a loop. She stood for a moment in her old shirt, ill-fitting jeans, tall gloves and rubber boots–work clothes. Arms akimbo, she stood and sighed.
Looking around to see if anyone else was there yet, she waded into the slow brown current and dug around in the riverbed, stirring up clouds of silt that obscured her view and made her want to cough, even though her head was clear of the water.
After a good many moments of this, her sheathed fingers found something. She grasped hold of it and pulled up an old, forgotten, dirty rope. Backing out of the water and continuing to pull on the rope, she felt more and more of it dislodge from the river's bottom and come up through the water and into the air. She imagined it startling many fish, although she wasn't sure if there were any fish living in the river.
Eventually, one last tug on the rope brought it taut. It would come no further. She had found what she was looking for. The wet coil beside her, she readjusted her stance and grip on the rope and gave a great heave, but the object at the end of the rope remained stuck fast. She pulled again, harder, and her hands slipped on the rope and she fell to the ground, having made no progress. But she got up, shook herself off, and took hold of the rope again.
Again, she heaved, and again, nothing happened. She heaved on the rope, which did not break against all her expectations. It was a good rope, still strong after so long spent lying in the river. She heaved and heaved until she could not anymore, and then, panting, she sat down on the ground and looked around again. This time, in the distance, she thought perhaps she could see the figures of people approaching.

SecretWell, that was fun, even if it didn't do anything.

*shades eyes, looking off towards the horizon where she's not certain she can see something approaching*
*looks back at the cool, slow river*
*sighs, heaves on the rope*

shadowParticipantdeadOh, we're back to heaving? I'm not quite sure what good I can do as a dead girl, but maybe I can help…
*uses some type of odd ghost telepathy to help raise thread*
Hey, it looks like it's working!
So, what types of plot elements are we working on? Also, have we decided on a specific date for the Final Battle of Kyngdom? The one between Catastropeh and the Powers? Also, whatever happened to Regina and the Power of Hoof? I think she went off with Ronan and Claaws, but I'm not sure…
-
TrixieW.@CatastropheParticipant*Heaves on rope* Catastrophe, can we talk about the shield? You wrote that you found it, but it wasn't hidden in the flower. We need to figure out what happened.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretWhy am I uncertain of what plot elements are? And why can I not find a definition? Anyway…
We haven't decided on a date for the final battle, although I think it would be poetic if it happened on the winter solstice. Sunny spring starts to emerge from the cold, dark winter as a parallel to good triumphing over evil and all. I don't know what happened to Regina either, but I think you may be correct.

Secret…Did this thread actually just get lower?
*heaves confusedly on the rope*
-
RaeParticipantWhy are we heaven on a rope? Can I help? *heaves on rope*
-
shadowParticipantdeadWell, the goal is to get a thread noticed and commented on by attatching a rope to one end and heaving on it until the thread is sufficently topped/noticed. Anyone can help if they want!
