There!
What's our current plot plan? I think we're nearing the end of Kyngdom.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretI don't think we have a cohesive major plan for the rest of the story… I also don't think the end is near, because we still have to finish the Power of Hoof, and then the Powers of Fang/Darkness and Howl, and then the epilogue. And that might take a while.

Mina@EveryoneParticipantI think it would be cool to get rid of (cough cough kill) most of the villains (well maybe the Black Skull or something could stay around because no one really knows about them. And SOCS as a scientific thing), and did a time jump. The time jump would be hard, but maybe we could do it so we all get older and then we make fresh charries as the generation after this one. Like our children or something.
But we can still go on a bit longer probably. Just a thought.

Connie A. (author)Participant14
Resistance BaseOOOOoOH! Well, I think we should definitely have the final battle of Kyngdom, which needs to include a few things, I guess:
-Death of Rigga/Catastrophe (right?)
-Connie being the saviour of something
-Resistance victory (obviously)
-possibly, Mina returning to human form somehow (if that's still something she wants)?
-and probably tons of other things I can't think of…
And then, maybe we could RP for a whule about how we patch up Kyngdom after the war, and how we fix the government situation, etc., because that will definitely be a loose end we need to tie. After we've wrapped all that up, we could continue to RP, but do time jumps to our charries getting married, having children, etc., with them all remaining friends.
-
Author of MinaParticipantWhy would Connie be a hero?
And also, I would prefer to keep my cat form. I'm not sure if you know, but I actually am originally a Dolor Felis, so it's natural for me to be a cat, not a human. I can understand how it would be confusing, however, because I have switched to the human form a few times. XD
So you and I agree to this idea! Now for everyone else's verdict.

Connie A.Participant14
Resistance BaseFor some reason, the Oracle told a prophecy that said that Connie was the savior of something. I didn't choose it, but it could be an interesting plot point. I don't think Connie needs to be 'the savior of Kyngdom' or anything, but maybe she could help with a major part of the battle, or find something? Also, I don't want to seem like my characters came and suddenly were taking over everything and being 'heroes'. I hope you didn't take it that way! I completely understand why your charrie is more important to the story than mine. However, I would just like to be involved. 🙂
For some reason, I thought your charrie wanted to be a human XD I must have misinterpreted one of your posts.
-
MinaParticipantOh, that's not what I meant. Of course you're a part of the story, and no one is a bigger charrie than the other. That's not how Kyngdom runs.
And, oh, really? Cool. I thought the Oracle was you.
-
Author of the OracleParticipantYes, you did, it was in your post, not mine.
I don't mean to be rude, but I wanted to point that out.
-
Mina@OracleParticipantUm…what? Who are you talking to?
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretConnie, I think.
-
Connie A.Participant14
Resistance BaseWell, you said something about her being a savior in your post, so… anyway, NOTE TO EVERYONE: I have said multiple times that Connie can be the savior something smaller. I never suggested she should be or wanted her to be, the 'savior of Kyngdom'. As I said before, the characters who have been around for a while (although I actually have been here since the beginning of Kyngdom, I just took a break and then made new charries) are probably the ones who will be most important in the battle. I agree with Mina that that's not exactly how Kyngdom works, but that seems to be what most people are leaning towards, so…
Honestly, everyone seems to hate my character, so I'm wondering if I should just kill her… however, I don't really want to, I've grown very fond of her XD. Please, no hard feelings. I'm sorry that everyone seems to misenterpret my posts. I just wanted to have a small part in the battle, maybe something people might think of when they hear the name 'Cornibus Salvator Ales.'
I agree that a time jump might be weird, and if we are going to do that, we should definitely RP for a while about what happens after the war. It would be really odd if we left that un-figured out, and it would be confusing to do a time jump if we hadn't figured that out.

Icy ❄Participant12 & 1/2
The Forest❄ It was said, a long time ago, that in order for Catastrophe to be defeated, all the Powers must be activated, or something like that. Dunno.
❄ I'm not sure about a time leap because I, as well as other people, am happy with the character I have now. Although Icy is rather flat because she isn't half as shy anymore…I'M WORKING ON IT!
❄ How are we getting the Power of Hoof from Blazing Star?
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
Secret1. I believe it was that only by the combined forces of all the Powers could Catastrophe be defeated. Also, I was thinking about his backstory, and this question popped into my head: Is Catastrophe Lunee's Sideaffected Power?
2. I'm not entirely enchanted with the idea of a time leap, either. We don't need that to make a good ending.
3. It's possible we won't be able to get it away from her and someone will just have to go up and activate it. That or we gain her trust and she allows us to take it, or we force it away from her, or it falls into the hands of some enemy and we take it from them.Whichever way, we'll need someone to RP Blazing Star, so either Scylla needs to come back for that or someone else has to take over her (with Scylla's permission, of course).

RaeParticipantAll good things must come to an end.
Even when Kyngdom ends, we could still do little rps on here, right? I don't think any of us are ready to say goodbye.

-
Hazel C.ParticipantAll the Powers have to come back or Jaaws can't be defeated. How will we work that in?
-
shadowParticipantdeadI LOVE THE IDEA OF A TIME JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It'd be cool to see who everyone ends up with. Rocy, of course, and Mhattumn, but who oh who else?
I honestly don't think that Connie shoud be the savior. She hasn't been around long enough, and it's slightly OP. I know that may seem hypocritical, because making shadow the Angel of Death was EXTREMELY overpowering, but when I did that I didn't know what OP was. I think that the plan is Ronan, Icy and the Powers defeat Catastrophe, but then what? Does Jaaws live? Is it crucial that she dies? Can she come back later as a villian in the future?
Also, what are the rules, if we do do a time jump, for descendents? For example, could anyone RP as a descendant of Ronan and Icy (if they do end up together) or would they have to ask both Ronan and Icy first?
I feel like we should also discuss on here what would happen in between the final battle of Kyngdom and the Time Jump. How everything (government, characters, economy, villians, etc.) ends up generations from our present-day Kyngdom.
Also, when will the Final Battle of Kyngdom be?
Sorry, I guess that was a lot. Anyways, that's all I have for now.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
Secret1. Yes, that's the appealing part of a time jump; we get to see how everything turns out some years later. We could just RP through the whole process of rebuilding and such, though–I have hands-on experience with running a democracy from my school, which is tiny and semi-private and awesome, and think of all the shipping and ship-related stuff we could do! Also more character development via soldiers and warmongers having to learn how to build and govern peacefully.
2. Connie's author herself stated that it was okay if Connie turned out to be the savior of something smaller(see her above post). I beleive your understanding of the final battle's plot is correct, and I think Jaaws and the rest of the Sideaffected Powers should be dealt with however possible/necessary. Unless you want her to live, which honestly I wouldn't understand all that well but would respect nonetheless.
3. I think authors wanting to RP descendants should ask permission of the authors whose charries would be the ancestors, unless of course the author wanting to RP the descendant is the author of the ancestors.
4. We can discuss that later if we want; there's plenty of time. We still have three chapters/volumes/Powers to finish, after all.
5. At the climax. Probably towards the end of the Power of Howl.
-
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretMaybe all of our attacks on Catastrophe (and, by extension, Jaaws) could fail miserably until the Resistance leaders figure out that we need all the Powers activated and organized to take him (and by extension, her) down, and set their priorities back on that. Heroes fail sometimes. It's sometimes the main element of a character/story arc. They try, they fail, they try again, and if they're lucky, they don't fail. We've stacked up the odds pretty high against the Resistance; why not make use of that? We can not-fail later, perhaps during or after the Power of Howl.
-
Hazel C.ParticipantYeah, I like that idea!
Also, I've always planned on Jaaws dying/getting destroyed at the end (it just makes sense, I guess), and yes, it is possible for her to come back later as future villan. I'm sure we could cook up a scheme for that, if/when the need arises.
-
Ronan ParticipantAnd also, Catastrophe will not, I repeat, will not, die at the end it fact, he'll-
BACK AWAY FROM THE SPOILER!
(coughcoughgetcoughimprisonedcoughcoughincoughhisowncoughcoughcoughtrapcough)
Sunny says ompe. Mr. Poe? Really, Sunny?
-
Hazel C.ParticipantIs that a reference to A Series of Unfortunate Events? XD
So Catastrophe will get imprisoned? In his own trap? Ahaha! Which trap? Or am I not supposed to know?
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretNngh, I hate it when the villains just get imprisoned and not killed or converted. It leaves a loose end with way too much potential for them to escape and come back in a sequel, angry and thirsty for vengeance. Sequels are boring. Just kill them and burn the body, and destroy the soul, too, if you can't cleanse it. Do a thorough job and be done with it.
-
Trixie W.ParticipantRonan! Lovely, you're here! We really, really, really, need to talk about the shield. Catastrophe doesn't have the shield, because that's not where it's hidden. So I guess the question is why did he think he found it? Maybe the magic of the flower and the oracle made him think it was the shield? I don't know much about the oracle, so maybe this doesn't make sense.
-
-
-
-
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretHow is this battle with Catatstrophe going to go? I assume it'll end in failure, but Blazing Star will be found, and possibly someone will activate the Power of Hoof.
-
nudgeParticipant-
Ronan ParticipantHmm. Well, it would be nice if Catastrophe could have the Shield, but I'll make a deal and make it so he has the Crown rather than the Shield and so has to get the Shield. Is that okay?
-
@Master Nova & Co.ParticipantTrixie W.Okay! I'm not against him having the shield, it's just that I had a lot of fun making up the way it's protected, and I don't want that to go to waste. Is the plan for him to get all of them before the battle? So yeah, Master Nova & Co., (I'm sorry, I don't remember the other names!) are you okay with Catastrophe having the shield.
-
-
-
-
Master NovaParticipantI do believe the Crown was meant to be last.
Also, we don't really know if we're up to that idea…and besides, it's deeply hidden in plain sight. It'd take a lot of looking, and it'd be impossible, for Catastrophe to find it.
-
Trixie W.ParticipantI mean, the same can be said for the shield. Not the part about it being last, the part about it being hard to find.
