YuleGuestThank you to everyone who has so far accepted our invitation! I suspect that your journeys will begin next week.
@Amethyst, you are welcome to guess our true identity, but I won’t tell you or confirm who I am until the end of the lodge.
@Hex, see above. And that would’ve been Mabon taking a moment from being professional briefly attack Lugh with a pillow 😉 -
ThalorwijGuestHahaha!!! I just read the ultimate guide to the CB and when I got to the glossary section… in Ski Lodges… What???? Everyone dies???

Well, this is a no-death ski lodge… -

The Four@SeadragonGuestYes, you may! The lodge will officially ‘start’ tomorrow, but since no Chatterboxer will be mentioned by name, you have time to fill out your form. ~Yule

Name: Seadragon
Pronouns: she/her/hers
Basic Appearance: tall, with long auburn hair and green eyes. Doesn’t wear very interesting clothes–shirts and pants in analogous colors.
Personality: kind enough, but quiet at first; intelligent; keeps a lot to herself; sensitive; overthinker.
Which House Would You Like To Stay In: Winter, please.
Calm or Chaos: Calm, please!
Preferred Season: I like them all–I think Winter or Spring, though. Or Autumn. Or Summer–I don’t like heat very much, but I do like feeling free.
Sparkles or Pockets: So very hard to choose. Sparkly pockets? Pockets of sparkles?
Does Trouble Ever Just Find You: Sometimes I’m unlucky, yeah.
Other: This seems like a really fun ski lodge.
What Host Is Your Fave: Yule. -
IntroGuestDay 0, Part 0
“Sleigh bells ring, are you listening…”
A cool breeze, bringing with it the promise of rain to water the cold ground and have Spring come around.
“If everybody had an ocean, across the USA…”
A harsher breeze, swirling through the fiery trees and stirring up Autumn leaves.
“We’re all in this together…”
Around the world, the clacking of letters on computer keyboards, the scratch of a pencil, the tap of fingers on a screen, all filling out an invitation. Cursors and fingers hovering over a simple word, hesitating.
‘Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe anywhere you go’ assured the cheery-voiced recording.
But also…
‘Way to bring up THAT mood’
Still…
‘Perfectly safe’
And so around the world, single touches- – –
Accept…Accept
Accept
Accept
Acceptacceptacceptacceptacceptaccept
Instantly-
Dizziness
Unsteady
People stumble to sit down, their eyes squeezing shut, and those already sitting drop their heads into their arms, closing their eyes, feeling as though they were drifting along in space…
A brush of a snowflake.
A crackle of leaves.
A burst of hot wind.
A scent of flowers.
A beating of a heart.
Solid ground, slamming everyone into steady awareness.-
AmethystGuestOoh, yay! Exciting >:D I can’t wait for the next part!

Top@All, the intro is posted!Guest@Thalorwin, ski lodges are usually like murder mysterys, though this one has a non-death one. Before the CB got shut down a second time and remade, there was usually at least 2 semi active ski lodges on the front page of Puddings Place. I miss having them.

Day One, Part One~The FourGuestDay One, Part One
“Oh dear. Was that a little too rough? I am SO sorry, I really did think it would be more subtle…”
Moon Wolf blinked sleepily up at the voice, the figure a mere shadow against the sun. She shook her head, clearing it, then, realizing she was on the ground, shoved herself into standing. Glancing around her, she found that she was one of many, everyone rising around her from their positions on the ground. Taking in the scenery, it seemed they were standing in the middle of a road. Moon Wolf tapped her toe nervously against the pavement, and glanced up and down the length. There didn’t seem to be any traffic. All the same, she stepped backwards until she reached the edge. Then she did a double take, glancing in both directions again. To the right, and where she was standing, trees towered above in gorgeous shades of yellow, orange, and red, creating a tunnel over the road. Fallen leaves skittered over the pavement, swirling from a gust of wind from the left.
The left direction in question was a completely different scene. Somewhat abruptly, the fire colored trees faded away, bare trunks instead taking their place. The ground was sparkling with frost, and the road was scattered with sand, ice slick underneath.
The others who seemingly had arrived with Moon Wolf were also studying the strange change in seasons. Now, however, they were looking at each other. With a jolt, Moon Wolf recognized faces she had only imagined; Amethyst, Thalorwin, WildWolf, Hawkstar. Lonan, Amity, and Poinsettia.
She started to smile, and the group of CBer’s drifted together, all of them starting to talk at once. They were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. Everyone turned toward the four figures they hadn’t really comprehended.
“Oh, this is going to be awesome,” one of them said drily.
“Stop it!” hissed another next to the one who’d spoken, elbowing their ribs.
“Now, now,” Moon Wolf recognized the voice, it was who had first spoken when she’d opened her eyes. “We are the hosts! We must be kind and understanding. Mabon.”
Three of them turned to glare at who apparently was Mabon. Moon Wolf remembers this one, the grouchy autumn person from the recording. They were rather tall, with dark purple/red hair that was neatly tucked away from their pale sharp face. Dark eyes and amazing cheek bones, they wore a suit that appeared to be made entirely of autumn leaves.
“Mabon,” they grumbled back before forcing a smile onto their face. “That’s me.”
The three turned away, satisfied, and faced the Chatterboxers. “Yes! And I’m Yule.”
It was the kind one. Yule was drop-dead gorgeous, with beautiful dark skin and bright blue eyes, full lips and a dazzling smile. Her hair was twisted into lots of braids, half of it a bun atop her head, the rest swishing around past her shoulders. She wore an ice blue and white dress that stopped mid-thigh, with matching leggings that showed off her long legs. The bodice of her dress was criss-crossed with silver string, long sleeves flaring slightly at the ends. She twisted slightly, and Moon Wolf could see the dress was backless. It really struck Moon Wolf as something an ice skater would wear. She glanced down at her feet, and saw that Yule had on white high heeled boots, looking much like skates with the blades on the bottom.
“I just love your dress,” Amethyst breathed. Yule giggled and twirled.
“Why thank you! Ostara made it, she is just magic when it comes to clothes. She created Mabon’s suit too! Although they made the design.”
Ostara smiled at her older sister, then waved at the visitors. She was short among her tall siblings, giving the appearance of always being younger. She had on a simple dress the color of a robin’s egg. A belt was tightened around her waist, the fabric flaring in a spin-worthy way. Her hair was black, braided into a crown and dotted all over with vibrant flowers. Her dark eyes were almond shaped, and she had a fine blush over her pale cheeks.
“And you all should know who I am!” the last person slung his arms around Mabon and Yule, whom he was in between. “Lugh. Obviously.” He flashed a rather bright and almost obnoxious smile.
Lugh seemed just as tall as the two siblings he was standing with, but much more broad. He was sun tanned and his hair was bleached blond that only came from days out in the sun. His eyes were also a bright blue, and he had a cleft in his chin. He wore swim trunks and had on flip flops, as though they were out at the beach. There was a lanyard around his neck, with a shark tooth at the end. A tight T-shirt purposely outlined defined muscles on his chest and stomach. Lugh was the definition of a beach boy.
“So welcome to Seasons! We all, of course, hope that you enjoy your stay here with us,” Yule seemed to be the spokesperson of the four. “And we want to hop right on getting you all settled in! We have a little traveling to do to get to your House. Spring and Winter dwellers, we will be going this way,” she pointed into the cold. “While Summer and Autumn will be heading the opposite way. You are all encouraged to explore most of Seasons, and you are allowed to cross territories whenever you’d like. And when I say most…” She pursed her lips, than waved off whatever concern she was about to say. “Daily activities will be announced as your stay rolls on, if you so choose to participate.”
“Why did we end up here?” Seadragon wanted to know.
“For some reason, the entrance between realms was weakest here,” Ostara said, a bit puzzled herself. “I believe it might be because of where most of you are from, it’s autumn, almost winter, yes?”
Moon Wolf nodded in agreement with the others.
“Any other questions?” Yule asked patiently.
The group glanced around at each other, then shook their heads.
“Not right now? Okay. Well. That covers most of it! Come on, then!” Yule flashes her dazzling smile, and Moon Wolf smiles back. She walks over to Yule and Ostara, joining the group heading for Winter. She was sure that her stay was going to be an interesting one.Present: WildWolf, Lonan Fable, Thalorwin, Amethyst, Amity, Moon Wolf, Hex, Hawkstar, Poinsettia, Seadragon (10)
