Anti-Twilighters Unite! Join the Anti-Twilight movement. March 19 is National Burn-Twilight-Propaganda Day (not limited to actual Twilight). Post here and help the revolution, if, like me, you are sick of the twilight-obsession the nation lives under! Fight! Fight! Fight!

I AM SICK OF TWILIGHT!!!

I admit I liked it
all in the beginning back in September when it wasn't such a big deal,
but now it's about INSANITY!!! Everyday, every hour, and every minute
(just about) at least one conversation ends with Twilight or Robert
Pattinson (eww..)! The worst part was when I found out that dudes were reading it, too.

Robert Pattinson is the worst
actor/model/musician in the world! My bffs (one in particular is having a b-day party about Twilight; eclipse gum, sweet tarts, playing baseball, MIDNIGHT SNACKS, uhh!) talk about his hotness and
down-to earth-personality---wait, how can that be possible when he
honestly said in an interview that he doesn't like kids...at all?!

In fact, I'm making a movie about Twilight for a school project. I'm
going to make every character look horrible and act even worse...I
could go on about this forever if I could and wanted to!

I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO JOIN THE ANTI-TWILIGHT MOVEMENT!!!

IF YOU WANT A REAL VAMPIRE SERIES READ THE BLUE BLOODS NOT TWILIGHT!

That reminds me---Edward Cullen sounds Mexican in the movie, especially in the biology room)

Welcome to the movement! OK, people, seriosly now, this is not one of my random rants: Twilight is a tool of mass psychotic influence. Millions of Americans have read twilight, and I believe the series's huge popularity is a tool of Stephanie Meyer's to control readers's minds. i'm not saying it gives people subliminal mesages (i'm not that much a conspiracy theorist) but it gives readers ideas and manufactured opinions. Seriosly, Twilight could be a exellent propaganda tool, if weilded the right way. So, Antis, resist! PS: A Protwilighter asked how much I'd have to be paid to read twilight. I said $200000000.

Don't you be bashing Robert Pattinson.

He's quite good looking, when his hair isn't unwashed/gelled beyond all reason and he doesn't have white paste smeared on his face. I think he's pretty down to earth, if what he's said about Twilight is anything to judge by.

Anyways, Robert Pattinson's a fine actor. Edward Cullen was just an impossible character to play, especially for someone who has to fake an American accent (which is why he sounded Mexican/Italian/British). His performance as Cedric Diggory, on the other hand, = WIN.

Umm... well, have you actually read Twilight? Not to be a groupie, but some parts of it are kinda good. Maybe if you read it, you could understand how some people go crazy over it. Like Harry Potter!

I have read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, Midnight Sun, and The Host which is a different series but just as bad.

I don't see what the big deal is. The books have bad grammar, spelling mistakes, huge, gaping plot holes, flat characters, dreadful villains, sparkly vampires (?!?) who don't have fangs (!?!), a whiny protagonist, purple prose/thesaurus abuse, and very, very bad morals. The only thing I can think of is that people are hypnotized by the repetitive language.

And yes, I am one of those Antis who knows the books better than a lot of fans.

And don't you go comparing HP to Twilight. HP >>>>>>>>>>> Twilight. We'll leave it at that.

In my opinion, the "big deal" about Twilight is that not only is it fantastical, but also the protagonist is such a real (albeit sometimes whingy) person that people who read it can really be drawn into the plot. Not to be critical, but could you give examples of the "huge gaping plot holes" and spelling & grammer mistakes? Besides, so what if the vampires don't have fangs? That's just Stephenie Meyer making the book more original! And as for Harry Potter, well, that's your opinion.

You know how people say they're on at the same time as other people? Well, 'Reuben K' had posted there a minute ago when I came on. However, I doubted it really WAS Reuben K because of the Blab About Books mishap.
